𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺 𝚈𝙾𝚄𝚁 𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺 𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝙶𝙾 𝚅𝙸𝚁𝙰𝙻 𝙸 𝙹𝚄𝚂𝚃 𝙽𝙴𝙴𝙳 𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂 𝙻𝙾𝚅𝙴 𝚂𝙿𝙸𝚁𝙰𝙻

𝐀 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘 is a day I've been longing to have for a long time now. But everyday just feels so packed. Homework, studying, gossiping, having my stomach on fire watching Lily and Keres and then repeat!

This beautiful Sunday of the start of October I am going to be using it to the fullest for sleeping and chilling. I had already finished all my homework in advance so I could be free today. The weather was also getting very pleasant . The sun was less hectic and autumn was coming, we were getting soft breezes, lavender skies and orange leaves.

I got up at around 12:00 pm after a long 12 hour sleep. Jared was lying in his bed throwing Lorcan's cat's ball upwards and catching it. Sugars was fast asleep right below my feet. Lorcan and Hugo were missing and Val and Diana were umm... making out HARD- what a scene to wake up to.

"Diana" I called out. Her and Val broke up and she asked, "Yeah, Lysander?"

"DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A FREAKING DARK ROOM WHICH IS DESERTED?" I asked. "Eh" she let out a groan. "Anyways, are you working on Lily yet?" She asked. "Dude, she's really not the first thing I want to hear about in the morning" I sighed. "Correction, afternoon" Jared said. "Whatever" I replied.

"Can you stop denying that you don't like her? Plus I would rather deal with you than that smiling joker, Keres" Diana said. "YO, You hate Keres too?" I asked with a lifted up mood. "He's so weird, I don't know what Lily sees in him" Diana said.

"Love is blind" Jared said. "Diana, did you know Jared has a crush on a senior?" I said with a sneaky face. "SHUT UP, NO. CAN YOU STOP SPREADING SHITTY RUMORS?" Jared threw Sugars's cat ball at me and I caught it.

"DUDE WHAT'S HER NAME? I swear Jared I'll set her up with you- I'm really good with cupid business" Diana said. "Is that why Lily and Ly aren't together yet? Because of your wonderful cupid business?" Jared asked. "You gotta pay me overtime if you want me to work with messed up people who escaped from the psychiatric ward" Diana said.

"Babes, can we have some food? I'm hungry" Val said as he placed his head on her shoulders and played with her blonde hair as they both smiled at each other.

"They're tryna make us feel single" Jared whispered to me. "Is it working though?" I questioned. "A little" he said. "Hate to agree but yeah, it's kinda working" I whispered back.

Val and Diana left for the great hall for some snacks and me and Jared were left alone in the room with our only company being a cat.

I slowly started petting Sugars between the ears and patted her as she purred. "You know there are rumors going on that they might announce the date for the Yule ball" Jared said.

"I'm fucking screwed, Imagine dancing with a girl- that's so urgh- Like bro I feel like dancing is cringy I just can't bring my introverted self to go ask a girl out and bring her to a dance" I said. "I'll go with you, don't worry" Jared said. "Awwww. You love me?" I asked him. "Hell no, I'm straighter than a straight line. Plus birth rates are just too low these days" Jared said.

"You're gonna ask Judy right?" I asked him to annoy and tease him. "BRO- I DIDN'T EVEN SEE HER SINCE THAT DAY WHICH WAS LIKE 2-3 MONTHS AGO JUST QUIT IT" Jared said getting worked up. "She's a slytherin you know? Plus according to her very irregular routine she's probably hanging out with her friends at the library, fake studying" I said.

"I don't care" Jared said, sighing. It's just so fun shipping someone with a random person just for the fun of it.

"SUP PEEPS" Lorcan came in with Hugo as he immediately stripped himself from his Quidditch robes and flexed his muscles. "Retard" I mumbled.

"Dude it's almost official there's going to be a yule ball one week before Christmas holidays they already shifted our exam dates" Hugo announced. "That's just shitty" Lorcan said.

"Mostly me and JJ are going together. You and Hugo can go together too" I said. "Bro shut up there are already so many rumors about us being in a gay quad-relationship" Lorcan said.

"The fuck" Jared swore. "People are insane these days. I'm with two guys but four is insane" I said, yawning and stretching. "Well who are yall gonna ask for the dance?" Lorcan asked. "He's probably going to ask Judy" I said, punching Jared's shoulders.

"I-I don't even care at this point" Jared said frowning. "I made a list of girls who I can ask" Lorcan said. "It's not like anyone in the list is going to accept you anyways" I said hysterically. "Look at yourself, you're not getting anyone either" Lorcan said.

"I can get one if I want but, I just don't try cause I'm not into love and that shit" I said. It's a shame I've come to such a lowly state of lying.

After a few talking and gossip we were called for a student meeting in a great hall everyone knew it was going to be the announcement for the ball.

"I can't wait" Lorcan said excitedly as we were walking to the great hall. I hate this, I hate this so much. I don't want to see Lily, a delicate flower looking so pretty being held by a piece of junk like that bitch, Keres.

We all assembled in the great hall and McGonagall was standing at the podium. Only the fifth years and seventh years were summoned because only they get to attend the ball. The only way to attend the ball from being in another year is if your date is a junior or a sixth year.

Everyone quickly settled down and I saw Lily sitting next to Keres and his friends and they were laughing and giggling. Oh gosh my muder instincts... I have to control the urges...

Then suddenly a girl came and sat to my left. It was a Slytherin girl with wavy blonde hair and green eyes. She seemed oddly familiar, for some reason her hair and her style reminded me of Lily.

"Hey, Lysander right? The rebellious prefect?" She said as she giggled. Why is she laughing by herself ? Plus where is the joke in the sentence she said. I slowly pulled to my right side and squeezed against Jared.

"Excited for the ball?" She asked as her cheeks turned pink and she tucked her curtain bangs behind her ears. I ignored her, bro- She's hitting on me, this is bad.

"I'm Aurelia Gold" She said, introducing herself. I just gave her a stare and whispered into Jared's ear. "Bro there's this girl hitting on me. Can we exchange spots?" I asked. "There's nothing I can do better than revenge, have fun" he said and gave a smile.

Jared come on bro, not the correct time to take revenge for shipping you and Judy. "Just curious, are you always quite shy?" She asked as she tapped my shoulders.

"What's your deal?" I asked her. "It's a secret" she said, placing her fingers in her lips. Bro thinks she's the heroine of some movie. Can someone help her snap outta her main character syndrome.

I looked at Lily and Keres holding hands. Ahhhhhhh, this is just heartbreaking, I hate this, I can't just bear seeing them together all dressed up at the ball. It's better if I don't go to this ball.

But I can't be a coward, I already gave Keres my word that I'll be taking Lily back. Threatening Keres and scaring him is not going to do anything. I have to come up with a plan.

In the first place, I have to plant a small seed in Lily's heart, which hopefully I can do in the ball. Then I'll water it everyday but that won't be enough because as long as Keres exists the plant won't grow to its maximum so, I have to get rid of him.

I have to get rid of him in such a way that Lily doesn't dare to utter his name and compare me to that bitch in her whole entire life. Thus, I have to create a situation and somehow implement Keres in it and completely shatter Lily.

I have to make Keres a bad guy that he is not. I have to fake a scenario and make Lily feel suspicious of him. I have to create a sense of doubt in their perfect relationship and when that happens. I can solve the equation easily.

Bro, I feel so evil. Imagine trying to make an innocent guy seem evil and trick and manipulate others into thinking that he's a bitch when I'm working in the shadows playing with all of them like a puppet. I'M LOVING THIS!

How am I going to make all this happen? I will do it somehow in some way. I'm pretty sure things will fall into place.  But I have to take Lily's state and mind into consideration too...

What if she gets shattered by Keres that she— she takes some rash decisions. I have to be careful while playing with people's feelings because sometimes one wrong move can make a small game like this a big problem. I have to calculate all my moves in such a way that Lily doesn't get affected much.

I have to be a MASTERMIND if I want to make her MINE.

"Students, I would like to have your attention please" McGonagall said. There was immediate silence in the hall. "I would like to announce to you that we'll be having the 'Yule ball' on December 13" she announced. DUDE DECEMBER 13?! That's Taylor Swift's birthday.

"I would also like to inform you to be on your best behavior so that you don't push us to cancel this event" McGonagall said. That basically translated to don't piss off Mongrel. Ok I actually want to get this event canceled because I don't want Keres and Lily to dance together but on the other hand I don't want to ruin my REPUTATION.

"We kindly request you to dress APPROPRIATELY, no skirts above your knees girls and try to not show off your skin. Boys need to dress neatly and do not dress up like hipsters" McGonagall informed sternly.

"Do you think blue would suit me?" Aurelia asked me. Dude, she's the one who Amelia told about, the one who was secretly in love with me, I guess she's tryna make a move.

"Can you stop hitting on me? It's annoying plus you're not my type" I said cruelly giving her an evil smirk with attitude and narcissistic attitude. "I've loved you for three years, you never noticed me so I thought maybe I should get into the field and play this year" she said smiling.

"Oh yeah, I knew your existence but I didn't want to encourage you to love me more by looking into your existence" I said.

Dude just get your love off your chest and get it off my desk. I don't want this to even last for two days.

"Three years of torture you know? I can't even express how much I love you" She said, closing her distance with me.

"Distance" I muttered. "I love you Lysander" she whispered. I wanted to laugh so bad. What does she even know about me? I didn't even acknowledge her existence till date and bro she's literally like trying to copy off Lily's style and looks thinking I would fall for that shit.

"You really think acting like Potter is going to make me fall for you? Does anyone in this world understand how much I hate Potter?" I asked her. "I'm not copying anyone" she said smiling.

CAN SOMEONE JUST TELL HER TO FUCK OFF CAUSE LIKE RIGHT NOW I WANT LILY SITTING NEXT TO ME AND TALKING TO ME...

FROM LYSANDER TO FATE PLEASE CAN I GET THE ORIGINAL LILY INSTEAD OF THIS RIP OFF VERSION? I SWEAR I'LL STOP USING RIP OFF PRODUCTS.

"Hope you all understood" McGonagall ended the speech. Oh shit I didn't even listen to half of it because of this girl. What if she said something important? "Bro, did she say something more important than the usual stuff?" I asked Jared.

"Eh, no she just told us to behave and dress properly and not to hook-up, create drama and shit"  he said nonchalantly. Then we were dismissed by the professors.

"Lysander" Aurelia called me as I got up. Ugh, she is so annoying, I just left with my roomies and then went in search of Val and Diana in the crowd.

"I'm going to wear a maroon robe, it'll suit me right?" Lorcan said, getting all excited. "Dude also I can't wait to dance and touch a girl" Lorcan continued. "Stop being a creep" Jared said with his eyes widened.

"Judy is so lucky she gets to go all three years" Val came out of the crowd laughing. "SHUT UP" Jared said again. "MY GOD IS HE BLUSHING?" Hugo asked, trying to get a good look at Jared's face.

"Come on Jared! Get off your desk!!" I teased him.

There was suddenly a silence.

"I'm actually excited" I said nully. "A person who is excited wouldn't say that sentence in that tone" Val said blankly. "I just want to get dressed in black and you know drink some juice" I said.

All my roomies just gave me an awkward stare as if I said something wrong.

"Jared right?" Said a girl's voice. HOLY SHIT IT WAS JUDY BERKSHIRE CALLING JARED. Jared turned around and awkwardly said, "uh yeah you're the girl- I you know accidentally kil- hurt yester- I mean two" Jared was saying when she cut it off and said, "You can just call me Judy you know? Don't over complicate things" she said with a weak smile.

Val, Hugo and Lorcan were laughing uncontrollably. I was on the verge of tears from trying to contain my laughter. Then one of her friends whispered into Judy's ear and they started laughing.

"Ms. Berkshire, do you have a boyfriend?" Lorcan asked and Jared gave him a secret pinch. "Uh, that's a weird question to ask. May I know your name first?" She asked.

"My name is your future boyfriend's friend" Lorcan said and started laughing mercilessly and Jared had fled the place and all of us were laughing like maniacs. Hugo took 'rofl' to another level and Val roared, "It's insane that all four of us have the same name".

Judy just gave a questionable look at us. "Well uh, you guys should really stop trolling him, he's actually quite sweet and pure of heart" she defended Jared. "Come on, sister already defending him? Aren't you a little overboard?" Lorcan asked.

"Dude, there's nothing between us. He almost hit me with a car. That's it "she said. "That's serious flirting" I said and everyone again gave me a weird stare. Am I really that weird?

"We have to get to class" her friend informed her and their friend group left. "Perhaps we trolled both of them a little too much?" Val said. "Ehh" Lorcan replied and we all went in search of Jared.

I walked into a classroom in search of Jared and Aurelia was there, oh shit. "Lysander" she called me. I went to exit but then she cast a locking charm. She approached me and she came closer to me and whispered, "Try me".

"Sadly you have more rotten luck than a black hoodie" I said laughing. "I mean it" she said as she came to touch my hair I pulled out my wand and controlled her hand.

"I love you so much Lysander" she said whispering into my ear.

I broke the lock charm and walked out and she came running after me. "I said I LOVE YOU" she screamed across the hallway and all the students turned around to look at the worst part. Lily and all my roomies including Jared were there.

OMFG. She literally proposed to me in public. This is so embarrassing but I have to handle it properly. I have to make sure she never comes back. I have to publicly humiliate her.

"That's kinda funny" I said giggling and continued, "Cause I love myself too" I completed. Ok wait I did love myself but not at all times but right now I guess I love myself.

"Also, I don't blame you for loving me, it's not your problem that I'm fucking gorgeous" I said with a narcissistic smile.

DUDE THIS HAS TO BE THE REJECTION OF THE CENTURY DUDEEE I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

I swear some students were still trying to recover from my amazing rejection and my roomies were silently laughing. Aurelia just looked at me determined and said, "I'm gonna get you no matter what" she said boldly.

Talk your talk and go viral bro, I just need Lily's love spiral.

"Maybe you can get me some peace, highly appreciated!" I said as she walked away hidden in embarrassment and sadness.

I looked at Lily. She was just laughing in delight. Her smile looked so pretty. She approached me and said, "Lysander Scamander I love youuuuuuuu" she sang mocking Aurelia. I laughed as my roomies joined in. "Bro, who the hell is she?" Val asked, laughing.

"Bro really didn't know who my big bro is" Lorcan commented. "Isn't it the girl who was hitting on you during the yule ball addressal?" Jared said.

"Yeah yeah, anyways where did you vanish after seeing Judy?" I asked.  "Shut up" he said indicating Lily's presence. "Jared you have a girlfriend named Judy? Since whennnnn?? You never told meeee" Lily said with puppy eyes.

"Shut up no I-" he started and Diana jumped in and said, "Jady for evahhhhhh" she screamed. "Jady! Jady! Jady!" We started chanting when Jared was almost in tears.

Then time had passed and we eventually snapped out of it so that we could get back to finishing our weekend homework. I was sitting in the Gryffindor common room when Lily came and sat next to me.

"Ly, who are you going to go to the ball with?" Lily asked. "Wanna go with me?" I asked her in a sarcastic tone even though I would immediately accept her if her soft rosy lips pronounced the letter 'Y'.

"Silly! I'm going with my Keke" she said as she placed her head on my shoulder as her red hair spread like jam all over my shoulder. "Keres honestly gives you too much freedom, if my girlfriend gets this sticky and close with a guy other than me I'm gonna suspect her" I said.

"You're just stupid, you're like a brother to me and everyone knows that, I can never see you as anything more" she said.  DID SHE JUST SIBLING ZONE ME THIS HURTS...

"I thought we agreed not to call me your brother" I said. "How can I not call you my brother? I hate you. I love you. I love you so much and hate you so much and if you're not my boyfriend then you're definitely my brother right?" She said.

"Or maybe I'm your crush" I said. "Nah, I'm over those days Ly, I'm just happy I didn't get rejected by you as bad as that Slytherin girl".

"Bro she still loves me, she said she's coming back to get me" I laughed. "That's so cringe" Lily said and started laughing.

I still can't believe I like her-

Her red hair, her emerald eyes, her flawless skin, her rosy cheeks, her smile, her giggle, her laugh, every time her lips pressed together to talk. It wasn't just her looks. It's just her.

"You know Aurelia kind of tried copying you off" I said looking at her. "What a shame, my mom complains my style is shit and I can't believe she's copying me. But why though? Does she want to be popular like me?" She asked.

"She thinks I like you or something"  I said. "You do like me right?" She asked.

I laughed and said, "Hell nah".
