Marinette just got back from school, bullied as always. This time, her notebooks were thrown in the dumpster. Hey, better than before at least.....
You see.........she was known as the ugliest girl in school. Always wearing glasses, always putting her hair in pigtails. Everyone thought it was disgusting! Marinette felt horrible because of this, especially since she had the biggest crush on this one guy......Adrien Agreste........the most popular guy in her school. She had a crush on him since preschool. She helped him up when he tripped on his shoe laces. He, sadly, ran away bright red. She, until now, thinks that it was because of her ugliness.

Marinette decided that things NEED to change. She took out her diary and started writing:
"Dear diary,
IM FED UP! I'm sorry, but I can't live like this anymore. Everyday getting bullied. Mama told me that this happens all the time and I shouldn't let it get to me. BUT IT IS!

I've done my research, and I've recently scene a small trend with Ladybug dresses. I have no idea why but that's what I'll go for.
I've also seen that letting you hair down is "popular' even though it gets uncomfortable. But at this point, beauty is pain.....
Now, finally, according to the internet, makeup is a NEED for beauty.

Now here's my plan..:
Step 1: Make a LB themed outfit
Step 2: Steal some make up from mama
Step 3: Find some hair tutorials online......

Marinette started to make her own Ladybug dress. She tried to make it as "trendy" as possible. It didn't take a long time though, she used sowing as a stress reliever from all the bullying, so she had A LOT of practice. After finishing making the dress, she snuck into her mother's room and stole her makeup. It was done! Now all she had to do tomorrow was to wake up early in the morning and do exactly what the Internet tells her to do. It was 9pm. She finished her homework. She decided to go to sleep right after that, she knew she had a big day the next day. That big day was change, a whole lot of it. But, no matter what Marinette did, she'd never wake up early. It was 1 more hour before school.
Marinette woke up because her mother kept shaking her.

"Marinette! It's 1 more hour before school!" Her mother said "I've prepared breakfast for you already! It's getting cold!"

"OH NO! I'M SO SORRY MAMA!" Marinette said in worry

"It's fine Marinette" her mother said while comforting her daughter. "By the way, have you seen my make up?"

"OH! HAHAHA OFFFF COURSEEE NOTTT--- HAHHHAHAHAH!!!!! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK ME THAT QUESTION?! DO YOU THIINK I STOLE IT BECAUSE I'D NEVERRRRR!!!". Marinette said, clearly lying.....

She quickly dashed down the stairs

"Oh, uh, okay hun......" her mother said

Marinette ate her food as fast as possible. It was already 45 minutes till school. Her parents were just staring at her. It was just 5 minutes and she was done. She dashed back to her room and prepared for school. She quickly went on YouTube and tried her best to be as quick as possible. She put her gorgeous Ladybug dress on. It was a spaghetti-sleeved bright red dress with black polka dots with a fake rose on the left sleeve. It would catch your eye any day. She then let her hair down and combed it. It was so soft and smooth, she didn't even realize it her self. She then took her mom's make up and started to do the work! YouTube was just such a magical website. She looked at herself in the mirror..... she wasn't so sure what to think.

"I guess I'll just let the school decide......." Marinette said to herself.

Marinette remembered that she needed to go downstairs......that means her mom would see her......uh oh. She dashed from her room to the outside world, without kissing her parents. Her parents didn't mind though, they knew she was late. She quickly ran to school with people staring at her:

"She looks so pretty!" One girl said
"Eh....she looks okay....." another jealous girl said

She barged into class, surprisingly 5 minutes early. Everyone was just staring at her. All the guys were blushing. All the girls were snarling, except for her best friend, Alya (the school's news reporter), who was giving her a thumbs up. Adrien, was also staring, but it was because he felt weird. He knew this wasn't the Marinette that he knew and loved. Yep that's right, LOVE! The reason he ran away from Marinette when they were little kids was because he fell in love with her once he saw her face. And he was in love with her ever since. And now, she was changed. She felt.....fake? He just shook the thought out of his head once the teacher came in.

"Y'know gurl, I tried my best to ignore it. But honestly, you look way different. You look so pretty today!" Alya said while giggling

"*giggle* Thanks Al! I hope that I won't get bullied anymore....". Marinette replied

"No one will have the guts!" Alya continued to make sure her friend doesn't worry

"Hey Maribrat!" A familiar voice said in the distance

"Oh no......." Marinette said while sighing "it's you."

"Watch it pigtails! Even though you have 100 gallons of makeup on your face no one will ever forget what you actually look like!" Chloe said, thinking that she was so sneaky and smart for saying that

"You're one to talk...." Marinette replied as a quick come back

"WHY YOU!!---" Chloe was about to pull Marinette's hair before a foot ball player came and tackled her.

"KIM! STOP IT!" Chloe yelled in annoyance

"Chloe! Stop bullying her! She's different now, see....." Kim told Chloe

Marinette's eyes were wide open......she never thought that anyone would stand up for her. Alya was just covering her mouth in awe. Chloe stomped away. Kim decided, as a bold move, to put his arm on her.

"Uh.....so Marinette.....gl-glad you--re safe....." He said while blushing

"Oh, um, thanks Kim........?" Marinette said in confusion

Kim then ran away too embarrassed to confront Marinette.

"Woah! Good job gurl! You're already catching them football players!" Alya said to Mari while giggling.

"No I'm not!" Marinette replied

They walked home together

Now, Adrien saw the whole thing unfold. His emotions were a mix of anger towards Kim, proudness of Marinette for standing up to Chloe, happiness because Chloe just got burnt, and other things that he didn't know he was processing.

Marinette went back to her home, the bakery, to see her parents crossing their arms.

"Why are you wearing my make up young lady!" Her mother said furious

Marinette totally forgot: "MAMA! I'M SO SORRY! ITS JUST THAT I WAS SICK OF BEING MADE FUN OF SO I DECIDED TO MAYBE CHANGE THINGS UP A LITTLE Y'KNOW? MAMA PLEASE DONT GET MAD! IM SO SO SORRY!"

Her mom looked down to see a gorgeous Ladybug dress

"D-did you make this hun?" Her mother said surprised

"Uh yes......" Marinette said in reply

Marinette's mom sighed: "Alright fine, you can continue to wear my make up, under 1 circumstance. NEVER LIE TO ME AGAIN!"

"Yes mama....." Marinette said trying to maybe, relieve herself?

"Alright now go upstairs......" Her mother said while massaging her forehead

Marinette went upstairs and took a long sigh. She was exhausted
