Chapter Three
"Let's go see the temples! I bet there's plenty of pictures to take there." Pattie suggested, riding Saba over to some old buildings. They were almost completely overgrown with vegetation with langur monkeys scattering about everywhere
"Aww, look at how adorable these little guys are! Almost like the squirrels we got back at home." Pattie cooed, snapping some shots of the little primates. "It's too bad we can't keep one of them as a pet."
"Believe me when I say John definitely would have smuggled a few back to Liverpool, he can never resist any animal. Especially if they remind him of cats." George chuckled. Suddenly one of the langurs leapt up onto his lap. "Oh! Hey there little guy. You think he smelt my kulfi?"
That it did, as it snatched the ice cream right out of George's pocket. "Hey! That's mine!! You didn't even take the wrapper off it!"
Of course it didn't listen, leading to the hungry Beatle chasing it all around the temple. "Good thing my camera has a built in filming feature, first of its kind." Pattie giggled, filming her husband chasing a langur monkey Marx brothers style through the temple.
"Finally caught it! Hopefully my kulfi hasn't melted much."
Opening up the wrapper, George took a big bite out of it. "Boy all that running around sure worked up an appetite for me! You up for some street food?"
"Street food huh? Hmm."
"Nah, I wanna explore around the temples some more!"
"I don't see why not? I'm feeling pecking myself."
