Chapter Four
Street food here we come! There were all kinds of stands and carts loaded with all the delicious delicacies one could imagine. Aloo Tikki fried to perfection and served with fresh tamarind dipping sauce, large helpings of Akki Rotti slathered in coconut chutney, bags stuffed full of Bhel Puri and even whole platters full of Pav Bhaji.
"Mmmm, oh this is like a dream come true! Vegetarian deep fried delectables! Now people will not assume I'm some health nut when I tell them I stopped eating meat." George exclaimed, munching away at the mashed potato patties.
"They sure are delicious! But very spicy too, how about we find some tasty dessert to try out next? Perhaps something light, since you're getting a big belly over there." Pattie chuckled, poking George's soft gut.
"Aw hey! That tickles Pattie-Cake!" He squealed, tickling her sides.
The tickling went on until they found the perfect dessert to end it off on. A bowl of Daulat Ki Chaat topped with a generous helping of almond slivers and pistachios. "Oooh, it looks like meringue, but a lot fluffier! Mm, I wonder how the others are doing while we're away?"
Glad he asked, because they were checking out the tiger sanctuaries that were built to deter poachers away from their big cats. "And the best part is none of these tigers are white! Nothing but pure orange, lovely tigers." John remarked, petting one of the cubs.
"And it sure is a good thing this story is taking place long before the lockdown occurred otherwise we'd all be stuck in the first chapter of this book bored and with nothing to do until the idiots finally decide to be decent human beings and wear their masks." Paul joked, watching a newborn kneeding into his belly.
"Aw, I think that little one likes you. But I wonder how you can tell them apart?"
"Each tiger has their own distinct stripe pattern, like how each person has their own distinct fingerprint. You can see our youngest has a little L shaped mark on the side of her cheek, that differs her from her brothers who don't have them."
"Wow, I didn't know you knew so much about animals Ringo."
"Nah, I just saw it on an episode of Zoboomafoo. Hey what do you think we should do now? This is probably our shortest trip yet."
Let's go do the final Beatle's trip! Ringo just wants to spend some time outside in a little tent out in the woods.
This segment is way too short! Let's go on an epic adventure where the Beatles thwart some poachers!
