Vita

Okay, this is Reaper's second visit to the Multiverse in "Soulless no Longer" by MistraltheSkelegirl, but Fate erased the first visit, from this story... But she didn't erase it from Inky's story...

But this time, Fate let Reaper come here, to visit Vita, the Life from Inky's Multiverse...

-------

Vita hummed, walking through her garden, looking at the various plants. She smiled at her special flowers, that she had worked with Death to make. She was so happy that they were thriving in the dark spot they were at, hidden in the trees, and glowing faintly.

As she was walking through the garden, she heard.... squeaking? She frowned and she followed the sound.

"Here... Here..." Fire whispered, through the wind.

Vita followed the noise until she came upon an unexpected sight.

Tangled in vines, and hanging upside down by a foot, was a tiny skeleton, the ends of the robe that they were wearing was covering their skull, and their legs were covered in black bandages, that looked like pants, with blue lines that shifted in forever moving designs, and soft shoes.

A Seed dropped from a tree, on Vita's head, as if saying 'Hurry up!'

Vita yelped. That was Reaper! She quickly moved the vines to bring the small skeleton down, cradling her in her arms. "Child, wake up!"

"Chaos Reaper, you're safe for now..." Fire whispered.

Vita carried her to her home, a rather comfortable looking cabin.

"Vita?" Reaper mumbled.

"Hello Child." Vita said softly, setting her down on a soft couch.

Reaper smiled at Vita.

"Missed you."

"And I missed you as well, little one.... though, it appears as if you've been hurt!" Vita said, looking at the bandages.

Reaper whimpered, and she nodded her head. "My Life... She... She cursed my legs... It hurts to walk... Where's Gen... Where's my Geno... He was with me, when we fell down a hole, when he was carrying me, after he saved me, when my Life kidnapped me."

Vita looked at her in horror, looking at her legs.

"Geno is busy..." Fire giggled.

A few Multiverses away, Baby Goth tried to wake up an unconscious Geno, while his mother facepalmed.

"I don't know, Child.... I'll see what I can do for your legs, to, at least, make it less painful to walk."

"Someone else gave the bandages, and the shoes, to me, but that was all that they could do, before they had to leave... And they help, a lot..."

Vita hummed, running her hands over her legs.

She found recently healed breaks, that had been healed by two different Magic users.

The first one felt like her, but it was twisted, corrupted... wrong.

The second one was kinder, and it matched the Magical signature on the bandages. It was inexperienced, but it had clearly done what it could, to make Reaper feel better.

And she could sense the foul curse... And all of the Anti-Curses, woven into the bandages...

Vita winced. The curse was something that she had never seen before.... how in the name of.... anything had a version of her corrupted like this?!

"You cannot break the curse of a Fallen." Fire whispered.

Reaper yawned. Vita's Magic was making her sleepy.

Vita sighed, finishing up what she could. "I'm sorry Child, I can't cure this.... but I hopefully alleviated some of the pain."

"It's okay." Reaper yawned, again.

"Go ahead and sleep, Child." Vita said gently, stroking her skull.

"Sleep silly..." Fire whispered.

Reaper nodded her head, and she went to sleep, with a smile, on her face.

Vita smiled and she covered her with a knitted blanket, petting her skull.

Reaper smiled, and she nuzzled Vita's hand, in her sleep.

Vita cooed, sitting next to her and letting the little skeleton cuddle her.

And Reaper was happy, she was cuddling the nice Life.

Vita kept stroking her skull, letting her rest.

Fire was just taking pictures of this precious moment, Misty would love this.

After all, this was her Multiverse.

And Reaper needed this.

She smiled, and she shuffled closer, to Vita, in her sleep.

-------

Death was carrying Shin, while Goth and Raven walked behind him, Goth humming happily. He was dropping them off with Vita so he and Geno could have a date night.

They didn't know about Vita's guest...

Death knocked on her door.

Reaper twitched, in her sleep, when she heard the knock on the door.

Vita stood up and opened the door, blinking in surprise. "Oh.... Death, I'm so sorry, I forgot."

Reaper twitched, again.

Shin peeked around Vita and she noticed Reaper. "It's Sissy!" She gasped, pointing to the couch.

Reaper woke up.

Death looked around Vita, noticing the bandages. He set Shin down and the three kids went inside to cuddle Reaper. He turned to Vita, who started to quietly explain what had happened.

And that the Magic from her Counterpart felt so wrong....

Reaper yelped, when the kids started to cuddle her.

"Shin, Raven, Goth?"

"Hiya Sissy!" Shin chirped, while Goth and Raven grinned at her.

"Hi." Reaper smiled at them.

Shin giggled and cuddled her, somehow managing to get situated in her arms, while Goth sat next to her, and Raven sat on her other side.

Reaper carefully wrapped her arms around Shin.

She was hoping that they didn't ask questions about her legs, and why they were covered in bandages...

The kids didn't ask, happily cuddling her. They seemed to realize that it was sensitive, so they were careful, to avoid her legs, and they just cuddled her.

Reaper smiled, and she enjoyed the cuddles.

-----

Vita sighed quietly. "That alternate of me has gone too far. Reaper won't be able to walk properly, not for a very long time." She said sadly. Death growled and he clenched his fists.

And if Reaper hadn't been given those bandages, for her legs...

Death twitched again. "I'm going to call Error.... I thought that he had sent Misty a message." He said angrily.

Vita nodded, looking at the kids cuddling Reaper with a smile.

They were unaware that Spilt was delaying that call, that Misty would get it a very long time after Reaper visited their Multiverse, for the first time.

But Vita had a very good piece of news, for Death, about Reaper.

Vita smiled, looking back at Death. "Oh! Reaper found her Geno, but he's.... unfortunately not here. I imagine that they got separated during the trip." She told Death, and he grinned.

He loved his Geno.

He was happy the Kid had found hers.

A Geno would be good for the Kid.

He hummed, watching the kids cover her with cuddles. He had a feeling that it would be okay, in the end....

----

Reaper giggled, as the kids covered her in cuddles.

"Cuddle the Sissy!" Shin said cutely, making Goth giggle at her. Raven grinned and got comfortable, cuddling her with a huge grin.

Reaper smiled, and she nuzzled them.

"I love you guys."

----

A few hours after Death had left for his Date Night, with Geno, Vita got a surprising visitor.

Vita opened the door to see Asgore. "Oh, hello Asgore!" She said, with a smile.

Asgore nodded politely, smiling. "Hello Vita." He said. Vita smiled and she invited him in, where he could see the three kids curled up against Reaper, fast asleep.

Reaper wasn't sleeping, and she had borrowed a book, from Vita, and she was reading it.

She looked up when Asgore entered the room.

Asgore stared at the pile of children, and the small, fluffy-winged skeleton that had been reading.

Reaper closed the book, and she was doing her best not to look at Asgore... He looked like the Asgore from her Multiverse, but he didn't feel like him...

He smiled kindly at her. "Hello, young one."

"Hi..."

He smiled warmly, and she could see the resemblance between her Asgore and him.

She smiled at him.

"I'm Reaper."

"Hello, Reaper." He said with a smile, frowning slightly, when he saw the bandages.

He could sense the Magic from them.

Reaper hummed, and she tilted her head.

He decided not to ask, recognizing the Anti-Curse magic in them. "I assume that you are the visitor that made Death's children so cheerful a few months ago?"

"Yes, I am."

He hummed and nodded. "Well, it's nice to meet you."

"And it's nice to meet you! You remind me of my Asgore!"

He smiled warmly. "Oh?"

Reaper nodded her head. "He's kind, and he always tries to speak to me, and Papy, when we attend one of his meetings. He even talks to the Ink in my Multiverse, and his Council."

Asgore hummed. "What does he say?" He asked. While Inky was Soulless, he had to put him down, hard, when the Creator had bugged Death, and his brother, to join his group.

"Well, when he started to demand that I started to attend the meetings, he responded by saying that Ink had no right to demand that, I would attend the meetings when I was ready, or when I had free time, after all, who's fault was it that the Multiverse was full of AUs with life within them? And who created the codes for the Resets when the AUs were created?

And did the Creator know how much Paperwork he had given the Deaths when they had to resurrect the Souls that they had Reaped when a Genocidal Timeline was Reset?

Oh, did he need a reminder? Oh yes, it was the fucking Creator!

So, could he kindly stop poking the nose that belonged to him, and his paint drinking ass into their business, and let them do their jobs?!" Reaper made sure not to say the swearwords, around the kids, and she hummed when she had to say one.

Asgore started to laugh, trying to stay quiet for the kids. "It sounds pretty close to what I had to say to Inky, while he was still Soulless...."

"Inky used to be Soulless?"

He nodded. "Yes, although I don't know how his Soul returned."

"I wish that my Ink would get his Soul back... And it could make him a little bit nicer...."

Asgore sighed. "I'm sorry little one."

"I know... I've seen what he has done to my Error..."

Asgore sighed, patting the top of her head.

Reaper smiled at him. "I don't think that I'll ever be able to forget the site of her skull being caved in... And her destroyed eyesockets.... And the feeling of her narrow, on my hands when I had to put the pieces of her skull together, to help her heal..."

Asgore was pale at the description.

"That's how messed up my Multiverse is.... You're lucky... Vita's kind... And she cares... My Life has Fallen..." Reaper started to cry.

Asgore's eyes went wide and he quickly looked at Vita. He wasn't good with crying!

Reaper was crying... These were tears of sadness that she had been bottling up, inside of her, for so long.... Tears that she had never shown to her family, and her friends...

Vita shooed Asgore away, and she hugged Reaper.

Reaper started to cry into Vita's robe. "Why couldn't the Life of my Multiverse be like you?! Why does she hate me?! And why did she hurt me, and curse me?! Why?!"

Vita sighed. "I don't know, little one.... I don't know."

Reaper's shoulders were shaking, as she cried.

Fire watched all this, phased out, the main her had just sent Gen back.

Vita rubbed her back, humming softly.

Reaper sniffed, and she started to relax, when she heard Vita's humming.

Vita smiled at her, wiping away the tears on Reaper's face.

Reaper smiled, at Vita.

"Feeling better, little one?"

"Yeah." Reaper nodded her head.

Vita smiled again, and she hugged Reaper.

Reaper smiled, and she cuddled Vita.

"Cuteness.." Fire muttered.

Vita started to hum again, petting Reaper's skull, and watching the three children sleep.

Reaper yawned.

"Go ahead and sleep, Reaper." Vita said, quietly.

"Okay..." Reaper smiled, and she closed her eyes.

Vita smiled at her.

Reaper slowly went to sleep.

"Awww..." Fire said, taking more pictures.

Vita summoned a book and she started to read it.

"She can't stay long, I can only play with time differences for so long." Fire whispered to Vita, in a way that she would hear.

Vita nodded, looking at the Fate. "I know. Error was kind enough to explain it to me." She said, quietly.

"I'm sorry...I wanted her to stay longer." Fire apologized.

Vita smiled. "It is all right. I wish that she could have stayed longer as well, so I could monitor her healing but.... well, as the mortals say.... 'Life isn't fair'." She said, with a bitter chuckle.

"No.. life is chaos, ever moving..." Fire replied.

Vita nodded again.

"Life there.. has fallen..." Fire whispered.

Vita sighed, her expression sorrowful.

Red strings started to descend, from the ceiling...

Vita gasped, summoning her own Magic in defense.

They were after Reaper.

She growled. "I think not!"

They weaved around her, and they picked up the tiny, fluffy skeleton. It was time for Reaper to go home.

Vita growled again, trying to break the strings, to make them let go of Reaper without hurting the sleeping skeleton.

But they did not break, and a portal started to open...

Vita gasped. "No!"

They gently pulled Reaper through the portal.

All Vita could do was watch helplessly.

As Reaper was taken back to her Multiverse, but this time.. The lock didn't break... And what slept within Reaper, stayed that way...
