Everyone is getting ready for Marni's wedding.

Everyone is excited to go to the altar on the beach, but they had already gone out along with the bridesmaids and Stella had gone with them.

Charlie had something unforeseen with his suit and went to the tailor.

And the Olsens were at the house waiting for the cake to be delivered.

Gail was waiting for the delivery man when she noticed Ben sitting in the house's mini bar alone, Gail rolls her eyes and goes to him.

"Ben! Could you do me a favor and leave that drink for the party!" Gail snatches the bottle from his hand, Ben chuckles sarcastically "what party? I'm just going to the ceremony and then I'm going home, that's enough" Ben says impatiently.

"What!?" Gail says "I can't take this place anymore mom!" Ben says irritated "you seemed very motivated to stay here these last few days" Gail smirk.

"no more, I ruined everything" Ben says "what's going on, son?" Gail sits next to him "It doesn't matter" Ben says.

"Is that Stella?" Gail asks, Ben looks at her irritated "did you guys argue again?" Gail asks "No, it was worse" Ben says, Gail frowns for a second but it doesn't take long for her to understand exactly what he meant.

"Oh Ben" Gail takes his hand "She hates me, she always will" Ben says upset.

Gail thinks for a few seconds, she takes a deep breath "Ben, be honest with me, there's a lot more to this story than just the cake incident, isn't?" Gail says, Ben shakes his head "No" Ben says "don't lie to your mother!" Gail says, Ben rolls his eyes.

"Why do you think that?" Ben ask "This girl has a heartache too deep to have to do with just a school dance" Gail says.

"What did you do?" Gail says, Ben sighs "she...kind of...she was my first kiss" Ben says with a heavy conscience "what!?" Gail says.

"yeah, it was a few days before the dance and....I was an idiot and I never said sorry and now it's too late for that" Ben says "why you never told me she was your first kiss!?" Gail says, Ben looks at her and raises his eyebrow "ok I got it, that was a stupid question" Gail says.

"how it was?" Gail asks "it was just, it started as a child's curiosity, just two silly and innocent children who wanted to know what kissing was like...or at least that's what I thought it was" Ben says "Ooh for her it meant so much more than just a kiss" Gail smirk

Ben remembers the day he had his first kiss.

It was right after Will and Joanna's wedding, little Ben was in the treehouse and Stella, as usual, went to visit him.

Stella had borrowed Ben's portable video game that she loved to play, she is sitting playing while Ben looked out the window of the treehouse.

He watched Marni and Charlie, who at the time were just beginning to date, the two were sitting on the trampoline talking and laughing.

For some reason Ben was intrigued by this, Charlie kissed Marni lightly and Ben watched them thoughtfully and curiously.

Ben, still thoughtful, looked at Stella who was focused on the game, and he was agitated just by a thought that had crossed his mind.

Ben watched Stella for a minute playing with his fingers nervously, he gave a slight smile when he saw Stella's discreet celebration as she passed the level in the game.

He takes a deep breath and approaches her, sitting next to her, Stella stops the game and looks at him, adjusting her glasses.

"Uh...Do you want it back!?" Stella asks "You can play, I just..." Ben clears his throat, Stella looks him in the eye nervously.

"Have you ever imagined what it would be like..." Ben says nervously, Stella frowns "kissing someone?" Ben says, Stella clears her throat "never" Stella looks away

It was a lie, she has already imagined the moment of her first kiss millions of times and most of the time it was with Ben.

"Oh But do you want to know what it's like?" Ben looks away nervously, he doesn't believe what he's saying "What?" Stella ask.

Ben shakes his leg shyly "I- I mean i Just...I just wanted to know what it would be like...kissing you" Ben blushes as he says the last part quietly.

Stella starts to breathe faster nervously, She imagined and hoped for something like this but she never thought it would be that day.

"why did you.. why me?" Stella's voice cracks, Ben still nervously shrugs "and does it matter?" Ben says diverting the subject.

Stella thinks,Yes, it mattered, but just as she didn't have the courage to say no, or rather didn't have the courage to say anything, she wasn't going to question him

"I've never done that" Stella puts her hair behind her ear "I haven't either so I wanted to know what it's like" Ben says tapping his foot on the floor nervously.

Stella looks at him again "can I?" Ben asks shyly, Stella nods, nervous and slightly scared.

Ben looks into her eyes and then to her lips, Stella does the same, they both pout and lean towards each other until their lips touch lightly.

With their lips touching, the two get a little closer until their lips connect a little more, for an extremely light and innocent kiss, at this moment they both quickly move away.

The two look in opposite directions agitatedly, Stella starts biting her nails and Ben scratches his head.

Stella gets up quickly "I...I need to go" Stella says shyly, Ben waves but Stella leaves quickly, closing the treehouse door.

At this moment Ben smiles to himself proudly "cool!" Ben says in a small celebration.

As Stella runs behind a fence, she rubs her eyes to check if it was real and she sighs with happiness "He kissed me!" Stella says to herself excitedly.

"he likes me!" Stella says and leaves bouncing with joy for finally having made a dream come true and she couldn't wait to see Ben again at the dance.

"I was the one who kissed her" Ben says "did you like her?" Gail ask "I don't know, but you know when a moment changes everything, that was the moment! The moment I...realized" Ben says.

"From then on I started thinking about her and...This scared me and I didn't know what to do, so the next day, I panicked and when I should have done something I didn't do anything" Ben says.

"And you're going to make the same mistake twice?" Gail asks, Ben tilts his head.

"You liked her back then and you still do but you never tell her, she gives you everything and you do nothing...son, I'm sorry but you're a weakling!" Gail says "Mom!" Ben says indignantly.

"I'm telling the truth, son, and the truth hurts! But life doesn't go easy on those who don't react!" Gail knocks on the table, Ben frowns.

"she doesn't hate you she hates the fact that you don't accept her feelings, feelings that she doesn't even know you have!" Gail says, Ben looks at Gail slightly scared with so much truth being thrown in his face.

"Okay, but she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore mom, I've already ruined my chances, for good this time" Ben says "I doubt it, I saw in this girl's eyes that she is in love with you, since when you were children I saw the little hearts in the little girl's eyes every time she looked at you!" Gail says.

"And I see the same thing in your eyes now, you fell in love with her from the first day, but you're an empty head who only realized it when you hit the door!" Gail says.

Ben thinks "Go make up for lost time, you can still change the course of history" Gail says firmly, Ben sighs "she will only be able to trust you once you open up to her" Gail says.

"You're right mom" Ben says thoughtfully, they hear the doorbell "The delivery man...Ben just try not to ruin your sister's wedding with that, okay?" Gail says "Okay" Ben smiles slightly.

Gail kisses him on the forehead and leaves, Ben sighs and lays his head on the table.
