You came back into town a couple of days later, and Neji was trying to avoid you at all costs, mostly because he still wanted you. He knew it meant nothing to you, but to him, it meant a lot. Neji sighed while eating at the ramen place with Naruto and Lee.

"So I heard Y/n came back in one piece," Naruto said as Neji rolled his eyes.

"That's great! I was worried the guy she had to kill was a creep," Lee said.

"Really?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, nearly killed us and would have if Y/n wasn't so good at acting," Lee said.

"Neji, I think she's single; you should ask her out on a date," Naruto said.

"Lee, did you tell him?" Neji asked.

"I had to; I'm worried about you. Your standards are way too high for any girl. No one is perfect, and making a list of things they should do and be able to do is too long," Lee pointed out.

"You don't know my standards," Neji pointed out.

"Then list your standards," Lee said.

"Fine if you really must know. The woman has to be wise, not just street smart but book smart as well. She has to be able to cook because if we are going to have kids, I would like it if she stayed home so the children become orphans. She must be willing to have children. She has to be beautiful and modest. She has to match my skill set in Chakra usage. She has to acknowledge that I'm not going to be home all the time due to missions, so she will have to get a job here and be able to take care of the house when I'm gone," he paused.

"See right there is what I'm talking about," Lee said.

"I'm not done yet," Neji said, " The children we have will have to have the curse mark on them because of my family's tradition. Then it just gets down to the basic stuff like catering to my needs but that's it," he said as Lee scoffed.

"No wonder you don't have a girlfriend, Neji; you want a submissive wife that will do whatever you say with no question," Lee pointed out.

"It's tradition," Neji said.

"Times are changing, Neji. You know you want a girl from the Dark Ages, right?" Lee said.

"Hey!" You said as you sat next to Neji.

"Great," Neji muttered.

"Hey, I got clothes on this time, and wow, so do you. Don't worry; I won't strip you down this time. So what are you guys talking about?" You asked.

"Your regular?" The noodle guy asked.

"Please," you said as he started making it for you.

"Girls, I don't think you would be interested," Lee said, trying to save Neji from a beating from you.

"Does little virgin Neji have a crush?!" You asked as you were ready to, get into his personal life.

"No, and stop calling me that!" Neji said as Naruto chuckled.

"You are the only one out of the four of us that still is," Naruto pointed out.

"Not true, so am I," you said.

"Seriously, you don't act like it," Lee said as you pulled out Pervy Sage's first book he wrote.

"Kakashi gave this to me when I was fourteen. Female ninjas have shorter life spans than men mainly because we can go into the belly of the beast without them realizing what we are. But once our cover is blown, that's it. We are dead; no amount of flirting will get you out of the mess you're in. I wouldn't know what to do to a guy if Kakashi hadn't given me pointers and books like this. Actually, now that I think about it, I wouldn't even be here right now," you said as Naruto looked at you, shocked.

"But you were a kid," Naruto said.

"Doesn't matter to some guys. If they think you are pretty, it's all it takes sometimes. I became a Jōnin at eleven, and because of that, I had to learn early about men. I knew from being on so many missions that most guys beat their wives when they are the problem. Why? Simply because they are weaker than them, and they claim them as property. You guys, I know, and I know you wouldn't do that, and if you did, I would kill you; I'm not even joking on that one. I killed this one guy who beat his wife so badly all because she was having a girl first and not a boy. The baby didn't make it, and neither did the wife.

It's why I will never have a boyfriend ever. Most guys want one thing, and that's sex or control. They only see beauty, and once that's gone, they go to someone younger, in my experience. You guys, I doubt you will, but since I'm a female ninja, most men see is beauty and not brains. I have to also pretend that they are in charge of me and manipulate them into doing what I want them to do. If they want both which is sometimes the case I have to get pretty creative to keep them from you know. Better yet I have to keep them from literally branding me with there marks. I could never in a million years do what your family did to you.

I mean heck Neji, your whole branch is cursed to have that stupid mark and for what? Your grandmother having Hinata's father first? It's all about control there is no love in that, I would never be able to brand any of my kids with that mark because it's wrong. I don't know what it does but it's called a curse mark for a reason.

Most guys won't ask me what my favorite book is, just are you single; what's your bra size? Like why does that matter? I stopped wearing makeup a long time ago because I would just get asked out so much when I was just eleven. Guys three times my age were trying to ask me out. Neji and Lee are the only ones that have seen me wear makeup in this village recently. They never take us seriously, and that's why I train the way I train. None of the guys care that I can cook or that I made a massive shield with my Chakra to shield people in the war we had. Well, now you guys know, whoops. Sorry talking about guys pisses me off so much," you said as Neji and the other two looked at you shocked.

"You.. you made a shield?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, I was coming back from a mission, saw the fight happening, and jumped in. I used everything I had to make an invisible wall for that brief minute window and passed out on a cliff. By the time I woke up, the fight was over, and I had a sunburn. No one even realized I was gone except my family; why? Because they thought I got killed in action while pretending to be a prostitute. You guys have it easier than we do, not that I'm complaining, but you don't have to sleep your way up the food chain to earn trust," you said.

"Why didn't you say anything about that shield thing you made?" Naruto asked.

"There is no proof I made it first of all, and second, I was barely in that fight. I don't even know who was down there fighting that guy. Some people died because I didn't get there sooner. Why claim credit when all I did was temporarily help in a war I was never supposed to be a part of? Plus, the only way you could even see that shield is if you had the byakugan. My powers are very unusual even by your standards, Naruto," you said.

"I don't think you understand what you did, the only reason why Neji is even here right now is because of you," Lee said.

"So you were in the war, nice. Glad you made it out in one piece and glad I could help. Anyway I should probably go. If I keep talking about how boys are stupid then I'll just be mad and no fun to be around. Neji if you ever get a girlfriend tell me! I live through everyone else and there love lives," you chuckled as you paid your bill and left.

You started walking but stopped to look at the sky.

"Why am I even here? I did what I was supposed to do right? What else is there for me?" You thought.

Now that you thought about it you saw someone protecting someone else from the spikes. You knew they wouldn't be able to keep it up for long and to your horror you were right. As soon as you saw them out stretched with there back turned you knew what they were doing. You had done it before for your team mates that were already dead. You were young and you didn't care if they were gone you wanted to take there bodies home. You protected them the best you could from as far away as you could. You used everything you had and then some.

"Why are you down?" Kakashi asked as you sighed.

"Remember the war?" You asked.

"Which one?" Kakashi asked.

"The one with the beast. It made spikes," you said.

"Oh that one yes. What about it?" He asked.

"You know I barely made it to the fight because I was hurt. I think I saw Neji protecting someone the way I did. Remember when I lost my team members? He did the same thing I did for them. My team was already dead but I didn't know it; I didn't even care. I wanted them home. To this day there parents still hate me for not dying," you said.

"If you died all those people would have died to," he said.

"Yeah," you said as Kakashi sighed.

"You want me to walk with you?" He asked.

"I would like that, we barely get to do that since I get sent away on so many missions," you said.

"You do, you are the best at getting information," he said.

"To good. It makes me undesirable to most men you know," you smiled.

"Not all men," Kakashi said.

"You know if i was born when you were then I would marry you in a heart beat," you chuckled.

"No way would I marry you. Not because of what you do but your parents would kill me," he said.

"Plus I'm a horrible kisser from what you have told me," you laughed.

"Not my fault you decided to pull me in the allyway to save our mission. I suggested you pretend to my daughter but no you said wife!" Kakashi said.

"You know it, more believable don't you think?" You asked as he laughed.

"Nope not at all I would never believed it. You were what seventeen or you just turned eighteen when that happened?" He asked.

"Try sixteen," you said as he looked at you disgusted.

"I can see why I never told your parents about that one," he said as you laughed.

"You were so grossed out you threw up afterwards!" You laughed.

"You are my god daughter after all, you better not do that again to me," he said.

"Neji gets your treatment now, he even gets to see me naked. By the way it's your fault for saving my pregnant mother from kidnappers then having to help her give birth to me. Your fault completely," you pointed out.

"So Neji huh? You like him?" He asked.

"Nah, I could never. Plus he called me a demon woman. He wants modest women, I fight shirtless given the chance," you said.

"What am I going to do with you? I'm so glad I never trained you," he said.

"Yes you did, I learned how to clone at three! You taught me that remember?" You asked.

"How can I forget, you were running around naked for hours, there were so many of you. So, so many babies," he said awkwardly.

"At least I was potty trained!" You said.

"True," he laughed as he wrapped an arm around you.

Neji was stood by and was waiting for you to be alone to talk to you again but it seemed like you were busy. He wanted to ask you what books you liked. He never seen you read a book a day in your life.

"Neji, you are needed at the office for a mission," a ninja said.

"Of course I am," he said as he headed over the office.

He went to the office and you and Kakashi were there. Lee was there as well as Naruto making you smile.

"Well hello again," you smiled.

"You are going on a mission to?" Lee asked.

"Yes, I call being Neji's wife!" You laughed as he scoffed.

"I would never marry you, nor would I touch you given the choice. You are not my type," Neji said.

"Come on I'm not that bad," you said.

"You're right, but I still," he said.

"Wait you actually consider me a friend now that such a big step for you!" Yiu said as you hugged him and picked him up.

"I take everything back!" He said as you laughed.

"No take backs!" You said as the Hokage came out.

"Come in," he said as you all entered.

"We have gotten word of an attack that is supposed to happen here. Kakashi and Naruto this part is your job. Your job is to gather Intel from our source. It will be a good day away from where the others will be. Y/n, Lee, and Neji. The man in charge of the attack is nicknamed the demon. His goons hang out a bar in town. Follow them, gather the information and if the attack is true stop him at all costs," he said.

"I would like to switch places with Y/n," Kakashi said as you looked at him oddly.

"She is stronger then you Kakashi," he pointed out.

"I fought him before, he's not a joke. If he finds out she is a ninja she will be killed on the spot. I don't want to take that chance," Kakashi informed him.

"You know his weakness is women, she has the highest success rate at obtaining information then any other female ninja. She is going into the most dangerous spot in this whole mission. Are you doubting her abilities or do you know something we dont?" He asked.

"No, lord Hokage," he said as you smiled.

"Don't worry everything will be alright, you know I can handle those boys. I had the best teacher's," you smiled.
