The Fallen Angel: Katsuki Bakugo × reader part 2

"Valkery!" Tamaki yelled once the dust had settled.

Everyone realized you weren't around, including Bakugo, when the dust of battle settled. You always came to them no matter how hurt you were, so your not being there meant you were unconscious or maybe even dead. After finding and following a path of feathers that were covered in blood, they found the pile of rubble you were under. After hours of carefully moving monster parts and building pieces, they found you.

"Oh no," Izuku said as blood stained the bottom rocks, and your wings were still trapped.

Your armor crumbled as they touched it, and your superhero suit that was supposed to help your quirk from crumbling was in shambles. Some of your friends had to look away because they thought you were dead, and some started crying seeing you cut up, your armor smashed, and your head got hit at some point but what saved you was a thin slab of concrete that almost smashed your skull.

"I was supposed to go to her house this weekend," Tamaki said as Mirio tried to comfort him.

You and Tamaki had a love for butterflies, and when you first met, you talked to him after finding him facing all out of shyness. So you covered him up with your wing and offered him ice cream. You did all the talking until he was comfortable talking to you. You may have been late to class that day, but you made a friend out of him.

"We need to find Bakugo he may be in here with her," Izuku said as one of your friends checked for a pulse.

"She's alive!" Mezo yelled, making everyone shocked.

They started uncovering your wings, and as they carefully moved you, your bones were breaking due to your body trying to heal your form which meant you didn't have a lot of time left if they were going to save you. They found you were covering something with your shield. Your shield crumbled once someone touched it, revealing Bakugo in your arms, and he was lying on your other wing. Bakugo didn't seem hurt, but your shield was dented due to the impact of the rubble. They had to separate you two, and your feathers left bruises on Bakugo's skin since your feathers were thin sheets of metal. They were soft, though, almost like real feathers.

They took you to the hospital only for you to die three times on the way over there. Bakugo didn't have life-threatening injuries like you did, just some broken bones, and he got hit in the head. Bakugo woke up pissed off three days later.

"Bakugo, you're okay!" Izuku yelled as Shoto smiled a bit.

"Where is that winged rat?!" He asked as Izuku looked at him nervously.

"You have to stay here. You can't see her. Your arm is broken, and so is your foot," he said.

"Damn it, Decku, no one asked you!" He yelled as he saw the bruises on his arm from your feathers.

"You don't want to see her right now," Mina said as he looked even more angry.

"That bitch came at me in the middle of the fighting and put me in this hospital!" He yelled.

"If it wasn't for her, you would be dead, so shut up already!" Momo screamed, making everyone look at her.

Bakugo thought for a second and remembered seeing a monster out of the Conor of his eye and building around him were going down. Then he saw your shield, then felt something heavy and hard-hitting him. He forced himself out of bed even though everyone was trying to get him to stay, and he quickly found your room.

There were colorful flowers everywhere and stuffed animals, plus your parents were crying outside the room with your older brother and sister. He looked into your room, and to his horror, they were using a defibrillator on you.

"Clear!" A doctor yelled, making him freeze in his tracks.

Your feathers were falling on the ground, and your wins were in slings, trying to get them to heal right.

Bakugo tried to go into your room seeing you in such bad shape, which made him angrier than he had ever been in his whole life. Then he heard the words "I'm sorry" in your voice, which meant you knew this was going to happen. You chose to save him at the cost of your own life.

"You can't go in there, I know it's hard, but you have to stay away from her!" Your father said as he tried to make Bakugo stay away from you.

"Y/n you stupid idiot! You better not die on me, you hear me! I will never forgive you if you do!" He yelled as he was still trying to fight to get you, but your family was holding him back.

Your friends came and were also trying to get him to calm down and pull him away after he kept yelling you better not die on him. Your pulse was weak, but it was back even though he didn't know it.

When he was discharged there days later, he was cleared to go back to school. The classroom was quiet without you trying to hug and talk to everyone. A lot of people were visiting you because the chances were slim, but you were fighting to stay alive. Bakugo visited you even if he wasn't in the hospital just sitting on the bench outside, trying to figure out if things would have been different if he had just moved to you instead of up. Maybe if you used a different form, you would be alright, and he would be dead.

"You know this is not her room," your father smiled as he sat next to him.

Your father looked tired and was hoping you could come back soon because it had already been a month since the accident. Your bandages were gone almost completely. Your wings were healed as well as your armor and went into your back. But you just wouldn't wake up.

"I know that I'm! I'm not stupid!" He growled as your father chuckled.

"You must be Bakugo. She told me you were a rather angry person who liked fighting and arguing," your father said with a warm, gentle smile.

"So what if I am?!" He asked angrily as your father looked out at the street seeing people.

"My daughter cared about you, and I know deep down if she didn't, she still would have protected you. She ways felt bad she couldn't get you to smile or to laugh. She may have seemed annoyingly happy, but there is a reason for everything. Y/n is adopted. Did you know that?" Your father asked as Bakugo looked at him, annoyed.

"No, who cares if she's adopted," he said, crossing his arms.

"I told her I found her in a basket outside my workplace. Wrapped up in a blanket with no note. But actually, I found her in a trash bag in a dumpster. I heard her crying, and it was cold out. On top of her were other bags of trash, probably to drown out her crying," your father said as Bakugo looked at him shocked.

"Her parents just threw her away like that?" He asked as he nodded.

"Yeah, if I didn't miss a room, then she would have died most likely. All because she had wings, her quirk didn't fully kick in until much later. She would sneeze, and lights would break. She would touch me and burn me by accident. She would rip off door handles and doors just by opening them the normal way. She broke her mother's hand once while holding it because she got scared and squeezed. She was so scared of hurting people and refused to touch anyone for a long time because of it, but she got over it. No matter what she did, I never punished her for it because I understood she couldn't help it. He had to learn to be gentle, and she is now," he smiled as Bakugo was getting annoyed.

"Why are you telling me this stupid stuff?" He asked as your father smiled.

"A small bit of kindness goes a long way, and in her mind, I guess she thought you needed a lot of it because you are always so angry.  Even though she thinks you hate her, she never hated you back, and I know you never did hate her because otherwise, why would you be visiting every day after school when no one else is around?" He smiled as Bakugo was about to protest when your father got a text.

"I have to go to the cafeteria, my wife and two other kids are waiting for me. If you want, your other friends are up there visiting her and getting rid of the old flowers. If you want to see her, you can," he said as Bakugo wasn't going to do it because he said something about it.

He went up there and stood by the door for a moment seeing Izuku, Fumikage, Shoto, and Tsuyu, as well as Kirishima.

"I have a good feeling she is going to wake up today!" Kirishima said happily as Shoto looked at him oddly.

"You have been saying that since she got into the hospital," Shoto said.

"I know, but today is the day I can feel it!" He said with a smile as he threw out old flowers.

"The doctors said she might have amnesia when she wakes up, but they won't know how bad it is until she does," Fumikage said.

"It will be alright. We can jog her memory with her scrapbooks. Have you seen her collection of them?" Kirishima chuckled.

"I like the one when we are at the pool, except I did lose my swimming trunks that day, and it will be forever in her scrapbook," Izuku said awkwardly.

"I like the one page where we watched that movie... I can't remember what movie it was because I fell asleep on her, and everyone had the great idea to stack popcorn buckets all over me," Tsuyu smiled.

"Thanksgiving was my favorite. Her family is very kind-hearted. Also, that one Christmas where I got stuck underneath the mistletoe, and instead of kissing me, she nearly killed me with a hug instead," Shoto said.

"That was funny. Your face was so red you looked like a tomato," Fumikage laughed.

"Hey, is that Bakugo?" Izuku asked as he could see his back turned to the window.

"He has never been more angry since Y/n got into the hospital. We should leave him alone," Shoto said as  Kirishima went outside.

"Hey! What are you doing out here?" He asked.

"Nothing," he flat-out stated as Kirishima grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in.

"Hey," everyone said quietly as they finished cleaning up the flowers, and only one vase of flowers was in there.

He got them for you two days ago but made it anonymous so no one would judge him for getting you anything.

"Why can't you just leave me alone, Kirishima?!" He yelled, annoyed, making your heart rate spike a bit.

"I thought you would want to be in here. She needs all of us, and with her body all healed up, she may wake up soon. She will be very happy to see you," Kirishima smiled.

"She's an idiot! She will be happy seeing nobody in here with her! She's always happy!" He yelled, annoyed as your heart rate spiked again, but this time it stayed spiked.

"Please don't yell in here. It's a hospital! It's also not your fault she ended up like this. Everyone knows that," Fumikage explained.

"I know it's not my fault! She was being a dumbass! Once she wakes up, I'll kill her myself!" He yelled as your heart rate spiked again, but this time, you opened your eyes.

"Oh my god, you woke her up!" Kirishima said as your heart rate was going through the roof and you quickly got out of bed but fell due to you not using your legs in a while you ripped out all the wires and your friends tried to help you but you screamed at them terrified.

"Who are you people?!" You screamed as Bakugo rolled his eyes at you.

"You know who we are, you idiot! Stop being a dumbass already! I know you remember us!" He yelled, making you tear up.

"Why are you so mean to me? I don't even know you," you said as you started crying.

"Bakugo you made her cry! She has amnesia, the doctor said with an injury like she got it might happen. Don't yell at her!" Kirishima said.

"Why do I look like this?!" You cried seeing your reflection on a fallen mirror you knocked off by accident.

"Hey, it's okay, my name is Kirishima. Can you tell me what you remember?" He asked softly as you were crying your eyes out.

"I was walking home from school, and bullies followed me home. Before I got home, they chased me into the alleyway and hit me with baseball bats. They called me a freak because of my wings and because I kept breaking everything I touched! I don't mean to. I'm just really strong. Why do I look like this?! I'm none years old, and I have boobs everyone is going to make fun of me now!" You cried as everyone looked at you horrified.

"Did you say nine?" Izuku asked.

"Of course I'm none, but now I look older! Did I get a new form or something, and I blacked out? Where is my daddy!" You screamed in between sobs.

"Oh my gosh, this is bad. Y/n it's okay don't cry," Kirishima said as he tried to comfort you, but your tears started burning holes in your clothing and the floor. You tried to get up by grabbing the bed, but you broke the bed, making you cry harder.

"I want to go home! Where's my daddy!" You screamed as they were all trying to calm you down, but nothing was working, Bakugo left and went to an ice cream stand that was outside the hospital and got you your favorite.

He saw you eat tons of it, especially when you seemed a tad bit upset. He went back to your room where you were crying and holding a bucket that was catching your tears. You were crying your eyes out while everyone was trying to make you happy. You sneezed but tried to cover it, but instead, Shoto had to use his ice powers to block it because it was pure fire.

"I'm sorry!" You cried as Bakugo came in.

"Y/n! I'm sorry I yelled at you. Your parents are in the cafeteria. They will be up here soon. A building fell on you, and I think you looking how you do is because you have a new form," he said as he handed you the bowl.

"A building fell on me?! Was it my fault?" You asked terrified.

"No, monsters attacked the city. You probably got caught in the crossfire," he said as you stopped crying and wiped your tears away.

"How did you know this is my favorite, I only eat it when I'm upset," you asked as he shrugged.

"Lucky guess," he said as you smiled a bit.

"Thank you! I can't believe a building fell on me! Well, at least I didn't get to hurt. My dad would be so upset if I did, I try to be careful, but I keep breaking everything I touch. At my school, I keep getting bullied for it. It's not my fault, honest! I just.. my quirk is awful, and sometimes I think I'm gentle when I'm not. I don't want to hurt anyone and put anyone in the hospital like they did me. I might even kill them by accident," you said as you began to tear up again.

"Well, good news. You have some memory loss from getting hit by that building, and you already are in a new school," Bakugo said.

"Really?!" You asked.

"Yeah," he said as your parents came in as well as some nurses.

"I'm sorry I broke the bed again," you said as you started crying.

"Will you stop crying already?! It can be fixed, you are fine!" Bakugo nearly yelled at you, making you look at him.

"Really?" You asked.

"Yes!" He said as you started eating your ice cream.

"This is good it tasted like sunshine," you said as you got some, and before Bakugo had a chance to say anything to you, you shoved your spoon in his mouth.

You started laughing at him because he looked mad at you. He was more than mad he was ready to kill you right there and then, but you were just laughing your head off.

"Your face is silly!" You laughed, "I told you it tastes like sunshine, right? Daddy, I think I made my first real friend!"

"I'm not your friend," he said.

"Not yet, but we can be," You smiled as you put your ice cream down and hugged him tightly.

Your wings popped open, and you fell backward due to the sudden weight change.

"Sorry!" You apologized as a vase broke.

"She is going to kill him," Kirishima smiled as Bakugo tried to get off of you, but you wouldn't let him go.

"Let me go!" He said as you laughed.

"Never! Make me!" You laughed as he finally gave up trying to get free from you.

"Ha! I win!" You smiled as he started fighting again, trying to get free.

"Let me go already! I'm stronger than you are!" He yelled.

"Nuh uh,!" You smiled as your parents were smiling.
