Oh Death Kirishima × reader part 3

Doctors had determined that you couldn't remember the past. You did for a brief moment, but due to the extreme amount of abuse you had taken throughout your life, you closed off your emotions and what you experienced. You also had no heart, which no doctor could explain. Everything else came back normal except your blood, which showed you were, in fact, dead. The doctors said you didn't have long left to live, and living was a cruel joke made by your quirk.

Aizawa took you in because he could theoretically erase your quirk to make you stop attacking people if you ever started to. You stopped talking because the memories you had saved the three boys were gone now. It was like you were a shell of your former self; nothing interested you. You could do basic things like showers and go to the bathroom alone, but you just liked sitting in a dark room alone. You did try killing yourself, but even though you died, you came back to life.

You had been alive for a week, and living with Aizawa was strange since he didn't know what to do with you or handle your situation. They wanted to put you in a clinic, but with your extremely valuable quirk, no one wanted to take the chance of it getting stolen.

Bakugo was cooking, and you stood by and watched silently. You were watching him like a hawk, and Bakugo didn't do anything about it. When you were around, he didn't yell or scream; he didn't pick fights or call anyone names due to your powers. He didn't want to trigger anything that happened in your past. You had no feelings for now, but that didn't mean you would get any soon.

"You want to try?" Bakugo asked as you looked at him.

"Come here," he said as you went over to him, and he gave you the knife.

At first, you were going to kill yourself with it, but he stopped you.

"No, that's not for you. Here, just cut the onion like I was, but be careful. It's sharp," Bakugo explained as he observed you as you cut the onion like he did.

"Nice job," he said as he started stirring his soup.

He looked over and saw you were bleeding, making him stop, and saw you chopped the tip of your finger off.

"You cut your finger off! How did you not feel that?" He asked as he got a cloth and made you stop.

"I'm dead. I don't have feelings," you said as Bakugo sighed, as your blood started to burn up.

"Sorry, I forgot," he said as he uncovered your hand, and your finger grew back.

"Hey," Kirishima said as he saw you after days of you wanting to sit in a dark room.

"How is Izuku doing?" Bakugo asked as he sighed.

"He's doing better; her parents scared the living daylights out of him. Over the Rainbow is ruined for him. I don't think he will be able to listen to that again," he said as you looked at him.

"That song is evil," you said as Kirishima sighed.

"I'm just glad nothing in that journal happened; how are you feeling? I haven't seen you in a couple of days," Kirishima asked.

"The man took me to a store to buy clothes. He sleeps a lot. He hasn't killed me or hit me yet. He's an odd man," you said as Kirishima sighed.

"You remember that happening to you?" He asked as Izuku came in with Shoto.

"Hey, Y/n, how are you feeling?" Izuku asked.

"Nothing, I'm dead," you said.

"You seem to be talking more, that's good. Hey, Y/n, if you want to talk about anything, we are here for you, okay?" Izuku said.

"Why?" You asked.

"Because you have been through a lot, I know a little bit about what you went through. We only saw a little bit, and I can't imagine what happened to you while you were with your parents," he explained.

"I died. My parents put me in a bag and left me by a trash can," you said as you moved away from Bakugo and went to Izuku.

"You look familiar. Do I know you?" You asked.

"We met a week ago, I'm Izuku. You saved me from your parents, remember?" He asked as you looked over at Shoto.

"I didn't save anyone; you also seem familiar," you said as you looked at Shoto carefully.

"My name is Shoto," he said as he felt very uneasy with how you looked at him.

It felt like you weren't looking at him but into his soul. Could you see souls now since you died? You went over to Kirishima next, making Shoto relax a bit.

"Hi, you know me, right?" Kirishima asked you tilted your head.

"No," you said as he smiled a little.

"I'm Kirishima; we met once when you were alive. It wasn't anything really, but I remember you if that helps any," he said as you looked at him.

"No, it doesn't," you said as Aizawa came to get you.

"It's time to go home," he said as you looked at Kirishima.

"I have to go home with that man," you said as he looked down at him.

"You have a choice to go with him or not," he said as you looked at him.

"Choices are so complicated, I should go," you said as Kirishima paused.

"Y/n, I'm sorry," he said as you looked at him.

"For what?" You asked.

"You dying that way; if I just walked you home," he said as you looked at him confused.

"Deth is something I can't have. I will never die; this is my curse. I helped my parents dispose of innocent people. It had to stop with me," you said; he looked down and went to Aizawa.

"That boy is strange," you said as the others looked at you sadly.

"You will understand again someday," he said as he took you to his home.

"Are you hungry?" He asked as you said nothing.

"I can make you a sandwich," he said as he looked in the fridge, but you said nothing.

"Here, you can have a ham and cheese sandwich," he said as you looked at the door.

"What's wrong?" He asked as you just stared at the door.

"I don't know. They seemed like they were feeling emotions. I don't remember what emotion they were feeling," you said as he sighed.

"Sad, they were feeling sad because you had to die for them to live. They blame themselves for not being able to save you. Kirishima has been blaming himself the most. He has been working hard to ensure no one goes through what you did again," he explained.

"They are dead. They will never hurt anyone again," you said.

"You're right. I need to go on patrol. Are you going to be okay if you are here by yourself?" He asked.

"The sound of silence and the darkness will be here. I will not be alone," you said as he sighed.

He had been trying to get you help, but for some reason, when you were around the three boys, you talked more, but when you visited and then left, you talked less and less until you just stared off into space. He didn't know if you slept at night or what you did. The first night you were there, you watched him sleep until he got startled by you at three in the morning.

"Lock the door when I leave," he said as he changed into his room.

He left, but you didn't lock the door right away. You decided to follow him instead. You locked the door once you were outside his apartment.

"How is that girl doing?" Fat Gum asked as Aizawa sighed.

"As good as you expect, I didn't think she would be alive this long," he said.

"Maybe this can be her second chance. She deserves it," Fat Gum said.

"Once things die, they should stay dead. What she went through, having to live with that, I saw some of the videos. She should have stayed dead," he said.

"But we can help her," he said.

"I don't know if I'm the right man for the job. She needs help. Help that I can't give her," Aizawa said.

Aizawa grabbed his outfit, and he stopped to see what caught him.

"Is that, hey, what are you doing out here?" Fat Gum asked as you didn't say anything at first, but then you looked around.

"Lost," you said as you heard people laughing and talking.

You could hear the traffic and some angry people. The neon lights shined in the night, and you looked up to see it wasn't raining.

"You remember something?" Aizawa asked as you looked around.

"It's not raining," you said.

"Is she okay?" Fat Gum asked as you just seemed confused.

"No, I don't think she will ever be okay," Aizawa said, "Here, let me take you home."

"No, I need to stay with you," you said as he looked at you confused.

"Why?" He asked.

"I don't know," you said as you heard gunshots ring out, and you felt someone cover you. Before you knew it, Aizawa was down on the ground, and Fat Gum was trying to protect his friend.

People started running away screaming while you saw Fat Gum trying to Stop Aizawa's shoulder wound from bleeding.

"Shit!" He growled as you just stood there confused.

But then you remembered he took you home, to his home, knowing fully well the baggage you had. He stayed up with you all night, waiting for you to talk, and started reading parenting books about how to deal with children with trauma and special needs. He made you several meals that you weren't used to. You were only allowed to eat off the floor at your old home. He never yelled at you or hit you like your parents did, and you didn't know why. You had no idea why you were still here; maybe it was for this.

You turned to look at the shooter, who was standing there with a smile on his face.

"You tried to kill him, why?" You asked.

"Do I need a reason?!" He yelled.

"My parents killed me because I got in the way. I tried to stop them from killing people," you explained as the man looked at you horrified and shot you, making you hit the ground.

"No! You just killed an innocent girl!" Fat Gum screamed as Aizawa hopped; you would get back up, and surely enough, after five seconds, you got back up as if nothing happened.

"How? I killed you!" He screamed.

"Y/n run!" You heard a voice yell, but you didn't feel like running.

"I don't run anymore. I am a Reaper. I have to balance the world," you said as he started shooting you again, but this time, he didn't shoot you in the head.

You held out one of your arms, and chairs made out of fire came out of your arm, making the man scream in terror.

"Kill them quickly before the police show up!" A man yelled, making other gunmen show up.

Your skull turned into a flame, revealing only your skull and eyes with small, white-hot dots. Small Scythes appeared on the end of your chains, and you made your other arm summon the chains as well. Your skeleton was on fire, and you had no flesh or blood. You were just bone, making the gunmen panic.

They started shooting, but you protected them with some of your chains while the rest were gathering the gunmen and smashing them against the ground hard. You grabbed a guy and tightened the chains, making him scream as his clothes started catching on fire, but you threw him into the fountain that was nearby.

"Kill her!" A man yelled.

"You can't kill something already dead," you said as you quickly grabbed the rest all at once, violently smashed them into the ground, and threw them into a building.

You saw an apartment building go up in flames and a gunman running out of it, so you grabbed him and did the same thing to him you did with the others. You stood before the building and heard people screaming inside, so you entered.

The building was coming down quickly because a mix of chemicals and gas was thrown out. You held out your hand and could feel people everywhere in the building. You used your chains to break down doors and pick people up while some broke the windows. You only had twelve chains, so you had to work fast. You started putting people outside as you calmly walked up and down the hallways of the building, going up the stairs and grabbing people along the way. You grabbed animals and put them outside. All people could see were your chains breaking through the windows and other chains with people wrapped inside them being set on the ground.

You heard a baby crying, so you went into the room personally, picked it up from the crib, and shielded it with your chains as you went down the stairs like nothing was happening. You went outside to see Kirishima and other heroes looking at you, shocked.

"No one is dead. Everyone will live," you said as you undid the protective shield and handed the baby to Kirishima before making one of your chains enter the building.

You grabbed the firebug and yanked him out of the building and threw him on the ground hard, then started choking him with the chain until his fire went out. You dropped him to the ground, but the man wasn't happy. He lit himself on fire again and tried to fight you, and after thirty seconds, you had each arm and leg chained. You pulled his arms and legs apart so he couldn't fight you. You made him get close to your face and grabbed him by his neck.

"A man told me murder was wrong. If it weren't, there wouldn't be people like you left in the world," you said as you tightened your grip and screamed in his face, making him cry in pure terror.

His flames died out, and he passed out, making you drop him like a rag doll. You grabbed him by his leg and used your chair to grab the others and put them in a nice, neat line. You went over to Aizawa and saw he was having some issues.

"This will hurt, but you won't die," you said as you got the bullet out with your pure bone fingers and burned the wound to make the bleeding stop.

"Thank you," he said as you turned back to normal. Your clothes were still on fire when you felt someone quickly pat you down.

"Y/n, I told you to run!" Kirishima said with panic in his eyes.

"Someone said I had a choice. I chose no. I don't know why," you said as he hugged you tightly.

"I don't know why either, but I'm glad you chose no. Once we get you back on track, maybe you can be a hero if you want to be that," he said as Tamaki gulped in terror.

"Hey, that's the girl that can regenerate; she has other powers too; that's awesome," Mirio said.

"It's not a great thing, you know; if she becomes evil, there is no stopping her," Tamaki said as Kirishima was talking to you. He didn't seem interested in talking to him.

"I should go home," you finally said after a while as the police showed up with several ambulances and fire trucks.

"Here, I can take you home. Do you remember where it is?" He asked.

"Yes," you said.

"Okay, I'll take you home," he smiled as you grabbed his arm and took him to what you thought was home.

You took him to your grave instead and saw where you came from.

"Y/n, this isn't your home," Kirishima said as you looked at him, a bit confused.

"I died; I belong here," you said.

"I know, I don't know why you are still alive, but we will figure it out, okay. I know this sounds selfish, but I wish you would have lived so I could apologize. I never forgave myself for what happened to you. I wanted to be a better hero so that this doesn't happen again under my nose. I hope you know I'm not mad you are alive, and even though I'm selfish and I'm happy you are alive, you are suffering. We will fix this if we can," he explained.

"Am I a monster now?" You asked as you looked at him with a blank look on your face.

"To some you will be a monster to others no. You can chose what you want to be. Today you made a choice to be a hero. In your situation it will be hard to know what to do since you can't feel anything but we can work on that. I don't think you are a monster I think you are just lost. But don't worry I will help you get where you need to go," he said.

"Why?" You asked.

"Because I didn't do it right there first time," he smiled.

"It was my job to bring someone home that night. It was supposed to be the day I started helping them bring victims home but I met someone and decided not to. I just wanted it to stop. I didn't want to help get rid of the bodies anymore," you said as he sighed.

"I know, come on I'll take you to the dorm rooms and I'll let you sleep in my room," he said as he grabbed your hand.

"I don't sleep," you said.

"You haven't slept at all this entire time? You can die form not sleeping!" He said.

"Really? What else can I die from?" You asked.

"You are going to try to kill yourself aren't you?" He asked.

"Yes," you said as he sighed and smiled weakly.

"At least you are honest about it," he said as he took you to the dorm room since Aizawa had to go to the hospital
