13 Handling the Killer

Part 13 Handling the killer

Khushi was stuck seeing Aarav. She was so excited as she thought he was Arnav. Though Aarav was in a different GET-UP with a French beard, messy hair, and specs, it was not hard for Khushi to identify him. After all, he was a twin of Arnav... the man she admired day and night in her heart. Though Aarav resembled Arnav, she felt loath seeing him. She didn't like him not just because he was a killer, she just didn't like him because he had cruelty in his eyes. How different these brothers were...! The same face, same eyes, same features, yet, something was missing in Aarav that Arnav had in him... KINDNESS...! Anyone would melt seeing Arnav's smiling face but the one before her was completely different from him.

She observed her surroundings. Damn, what this Arnav and Aman were doing? Couldn't they come to the shopping center coincidently? The serial killer was in front of her but she could do nothing. She didn't know how many of them were with him. He might have had a gun with him. After all, he had many criminal friends. What would happen if she shouted? But, what if he came up with preparations? However, she had to handle him. She had no choice.

Khushi saw Aarav looking at her questioningly. She made up herself to handle him. Aarav frowned, seeing her facial expression changing.

"How dare you...! Don't you dare address yourself a human" She said shrinking her eyes.

Aarav looked at her with confusion because he didn't know who the girl was.

"Don't you have shame? Is this what a brave man does? I have never seen a cruel-hearted man like you"

Aarav was shocked. Who the hell was she? Why she was scolding him? Did she know about him? Did she find out he was the serial killer?

"Why are you looking at me like an OWL? You and your face...!" she gritted her teeth.

Aarav felt insulted. He was so proud of his LOOK. After all, he trapped girls by using his LOOK but, this girl humiliated him. he was supposed to say something but stopped as the public started paying attention to them.

"What happened, madam?" the supermarket owner rushed to them.

"Please, you don't interfere in this matter, sir. This is a matter between me and this monkey" Khushi said wearily.

Aarav dropped his jaw and frowned. He had seen many girls who died for his one look but this girl was giving him names that were so insulting.

"Say something... What do you have in your mouth? Did your pearls spill if you said something?"

Aarav didn't know what she wanted him to say. In fact, he didn't know what her problem was.

"Madam, this is a public place... please don't create a scene here. Please solve your problem in person" The owner requested.

"Sir... I don't even want to see his face. I hate him to that extent. My bad luck, today I had to see his face" she said annoyingly.

"Madam, please..."

Cutting him,

"Sir, you have no idea what he had done..." She said observing his face.

Aarav was horrified. He had no idea what she was talking about.

"Whenever I think about it, I feel like I just want to tear him into pieces..."

"What did he do madam?"

"Please don't ask me about it... I don't even want to think about it"

The shop owner rolled his eyes.

"Sir, you tell me, what's the problem?" the owner asked Aarav.

"I don't even know who she is," He said looking at Khushi.

"Whaaaat? You are a lair... you are a cheater... you won't mind killing people who trust you"

Aarav gritted his teeth.

"What do you think of yourself? Who the hell are you? Do you know who I am?"

Khushi looked at him, moving closely, tilting her face from left to right, making him flinch.

"Are you mad?" He asked irritatingly.

She gulped down and moved back.

"I'm sorry, you are not HIM"

Aarav looked at her raising his brows.

"HIM?"

"I thought you were someone but you are not him. I'm really really sorry... but whatever I scolded you was him"

"Whom you are talking about?" He raised his left brow.

"Leave it, sir... you don't know him..." she said casually.

"Who is he? Is he here?" he asked rigidly.

"No... That idiot is in Scotland." She said annoyingly.

"Scotland?" Aarav understood whom she was talking about.

"I thought you were him because you resemble him" she walked.

"What's his name?" he followed her.

Khushi stopped and turned towards him and said,

"Arnav Singh Raizada..." Khushi said looking at his eyes where she found a blaze, hearing Arnav's name.

"What did he do? Why are you scolding him? Did he betray you?"

"I'm sorry, sir. I can't share it with a stranger but I'm not going to leave him..." She gritted her teeth.

"If I resemble him, how do you say I'm not him?"

"I can say that... you may resemble him but you are not him"

"How?"

"Because I know him" she walked.

"Hey, miss..." Aarav followed her.

Khushi continued walking not giving heed to him. They came out of the shopping center. Aarav was supposed to clutch her hand, but he stopped seeing a police jeep stopping in front of the mall.

At the same time, Khushi's face bloomed seeing the police. She turned behind and was horrified not to find Aarav there. Where did he go? She looked here and there. She saw him turning a street. She slammed her feet on the floor with irritation. Starting the bike, she moved away.

Coming to her house, she called Arnav. He answered the call.

"Hi..."

"I want to meet you"

"Khushi, I'm busy with Aman..."

"Oh, really? I too was busy with the serial killer... Aarav"

"Whaaaat?" Arnav stood up on his feet.

"I met him in a supermarket"

"When?"

"Half an hour ago"

"Which supermarket?"

"Glad Supermarket Sarojini nagar"

"Why didn't you call the police?"

"How could I call them when I was engaged with him?"

"Engaged?"

"Yes, I was talking to him"

"Khushi stop beating around the bush and tell me clearly"

"He was in the supermarket. I thought it was you... but he was Aarav"

"How do you know?"

"Don't I know? After all, I'm Khushi"

Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Khushi, how do you know he was Aarav, not me?"

"Guess?"

"My mind is not working..."

Khushi sighed and was about say how she found he was Aarav, but stopped hearing,

"Oh, yeah, I got it... the scar on my left brow" Arnav's hand automatically touched the scar.

"Oh, yeah... that's also there but I forgot it..."

"Didn't you find the difference using the scar?"

"No"

"Then?"

"Eyes... there is no LOVE in his eyes for me."

Arnav smiled.

"If you were there in his place, your eyes would have smiled seeing me but I saw confusion in his eyes."

"What did you talk to him?"

Khushi narrated to him about her conversation with Aarav. Arnav laughed like hell.

"Khushi, it seems you scolded him intentionally?"

"Then what? Because of that donkey, we are not meeting. That is why I scolded him keeping all my anger in my words. It was a public place. That's why I behaved decently. Or else, I would have torn him..."

"Did you notice the dangerous part of your meeting?"

"What?"

"You became familiar to him. He got to know that you are related to me somehow"

"That's why I intentionally did that"

"Whaaat do you mean?"

"Let him search for me. then only he will come out and get caught"

"He is a dangerous guy Khushi"

"Don't I know that? I know his complete history more than anyone. I know what I'm doing"

"Be careful, Khushi"

"Don't worry. He can't find me even if I go in front of him"

"How? Are you going to wear a disguise?"

"Kind of..."

"You are next to impossible"

"Thanks"

"Welcome"

"Really? When you are welcoming me, how won't I come to your place? I will come to meet you..."

Arnav sighed.

"Ok... but be careful"

"Yes, Boss"

She disconnected the call.

After a while,

Arnav heard a calling bell sound and opened the door. he frowned seeing a Muslim girl standing.

"Yes... what can I do for you?" Arnav asked.

"Assalam walekum," the girl said and Arnav stuck for a second and laughed because she was Khushi.

To be continued...
