1 month later,

I smile down at my brother, tonight is the night he finally gets access to his powers, and apparently I get more powers, we're all exited.

Dad and mum call us over, and when the full moon is high in the sky, I take a deep breath.

My bones crack and merge together, my organs change shape and my hair extends, my world change, I'm now in wolf form, a million scents surround us.

We run around, I'm chasing a possum when I feel something form deep inside me, I haven't felt it before, but oh yes, it feels good, great in fact.

Mum and dad refused to tell my the power, they said I had to find it out for myself.

I stop, take a deep breath in, closing my eyes.

Then I open it, this is it, this is the extra power you receive as a wolf heart, it's amazing.

I look to my left, I can see for miles, I see everything I wanna, far better then my human state's eyes.

I see what I want to, it's not woolfboods eorlas, they're our cousins but we have better powers, we can run a bit faster, we can control our powers better too, and if we really put our mind to it, if there's gonna be blood tests we can hide our wolf DNA.

I look further out, I see my cousin Maddy, and her boyfriend Rhydian, I look to my right, I see wolf hearts running, with each stride they become closer and more closer to wolf, on the eighth stride they're wolfs.

This is what I want to be, free.
Just like that pack I just saw.

I mess around with my brother and parents for a few minutes.
Suddenly, I stop in my tracks. I sense something, something bad. I transform and this courses everyone else to.

"Something bad is coming" I whisper.
I try hard, crouching on the ground and my hand in the dirt, and I use my new power, extended Woolfbloods eorlas.
I look around, I look to my left, noting, I look behind and in front of us, noting then I look to my right.
I see about eight wolfs running. But something tells me they're not like the pack I saw earlier. This pack look angry.

"Boulder soldiers" I whisper. I reach above me and grab a branch and pull myself up onto it. I see my brother hide behind the large rock, my mother behind a bush and my dad hides up in a tree, like me.

I use my EA (extended eorlas) and look for them. While still using it I whisper, "10 seconds."

"Six seconds " I whisper, they are getting closer.
I count down the rest in my head. This is bad, really bad.

Soon enough eight big black wolfs run into the clearing, they sniff the area.
Suddenly I feel something weird inside my head,like a connection or something. I realise that that connection is my dad.
What's going on? I say inside my head, but it echoes more.
This is your second power, you can connect to those who have it. My dad replies ....inside my head?
What do we do, they're so close to them? I say.
Honesty, I don't know.
I have an idea.
Don't to so,eating stupid and reckless.
To late for that.
I break the connection and jump down, I square my feet are bare my teeth, my fists clenched tight. They all turn around and face me.
"Why are you here" I growl through my teeth.
One transforms, he has blonde hair with black streaks and piercing, evil blue eyes.
"For you, Maddie." He replies evilly and we begin to circle each other, me opposite the eight evil ones.

Once in I front of the rock, I stop and my mum jumps out of the bush and my brother does too. My dad jumps down.
"Well if you want me, you'll have to catch me" I growl and a wolf starts to run at me. I grab a branch. I pull myself up just in time, the wolf runs straight into the rock and is knocked out, changed to human form.
Maddie -one,evil, 0
I go higher in the tree so they can't see me, some go to climb the tree in human form so I jump into another tree, then I jump directory down and strangle one still on the ground. I take off running.
I feel the connection in my head.
It's your dad, Maddie run for help, we can't hold them back for ever, and for god sake stay safe.
I will try. I love you. I've got an idea.

I'm gonna go find Jack and his pack. I have EA so I will find out where that are.
Ok.

I use AE and look around as I run. Suddenly I see Jack and his family running, in a pack. Free.
I sprint at wolf speed towards where they are.

I jump out of a bush and they skid to a stop.
"I need help. Please help us. " I beg.
Jack changes. " what's the matter."
"Boulder soldiers. About two miles that way. My family and I need help" I say.
The mother nods and they all takes off in the direction I point to.
I use EA suddenly I see Maddy and Rhydian close.
What are they doing way out here, oh well...maybe they can help.
I run in the direction I see them. They are running and laughing, racing each other.
After about a minute I reach them .They stop when they see me running towards them.
"Are you ok, Maddie?" Maddy, my cousin asks.
I shake my head and catch my breath. "I need help. My family, are in danger. Can you two help?" I ask, hopeful. They look at each other then back at me then nod. We race off, back to where I came from. I'm a little faster because they are Woolfbloods, not wolf hearts.
In five minutes we reach the clearing, I see that Jack, his mother,mum, dad and my brother are facing the eight while jacks sited is behind the rock.
"The black wolfs are John boulders. They are bed news and they have kidnapped my auntie and brother before" I whisper as we get closer.
"We'll help as much as we can". Rhydian says and I nod.
We join our side so that makes eight against eight.

We all change into wolfs, all of us growling.
I mind link my father,
I got Maddy and Rhydian. They were close by, as well as jacks pack.
Good.we need all the help we can get. Jacks sister is behind the rock.
Ok.
