The air was filled with screams and cries.
I'm sure I heard Mother's roar, but I can do nothing about it. I'm far away from her, in my trials, battling a NightWing with my archenemy.
The morning sky turned into darkness, flooded with NightWings.
2 NightWings saw us and lurched towards us. We're finished. Glacia is badly wounded and I have no strength at all to continue this fight. It's over.
I crawled over to where Glacia was lying, her face filled with horror and fear.
I spread out my wings to protect her, for awhile I guess.
Either ways we're still gonna die. I'm hoping Glacia has enough energy to take this opportunity and fly away, to somewhere safe.
The NightWings came forth, preparing their flames.
So I closed my eyes, preparing for the pain, preparing for death.

5 seconds past by, I opened my eyes. A strange light took over.
'Am I dead?', I thought, 'So this is death? Heh it may not be as bad as I thought. Too bad I didn't have time to say goodbye to my Mother. She's gonna be outraged. Hopefully Glacia survived. Hah, look at me, helping my enemy, the one that tried killing me just a few hours ago. Well, goodbye world.'
But instead, the light faded away and all I saw was the white NightWing, it's wings spread in front of me and Glacia. I also saw 2 unknown dragons, another NightWing, but with black scales and purple eyes; and a RainWing.
The White NightWing blocked off the flames with its wings while the 2 unknown dragons finished off the NightWing attackers.
The White NightWing didn't even get a scratch.
Another group of NightWing solders came flying towards us.
"Run Clover! Take ShadowEclipse with you! Find your Mother! NOW!" The RainWing barked at me.
Um excuseeeeee me, I don't take orders from a RainWing. But that RainWing sounded like he knows something. And the black NightWing, ShadowEclipse? He began to fly in the general direction of the screams. Am I suppose to follow?
Then I remembered Glacia... And the White NightWing. The NightWing helped me after all.
I tried pulling and tugging Glacia but she won't budge. The wound is getting worse by the minute. I have to do something!
One of the NightWing enemy attacked the White NightWing's under scales, leaving a deep wound. But instead of it bleeding, the chains that once bounded the NightWing recoiled around its talons and the White NightWing was once again left in a deep slumber.
'Animus magic' I thought. I thought we lost our last animus, Prince Arctic. Glacier better explain this if I make it out alive.
There must be a way to free the NightWing! Hmm last time the hero and traitor Winter used his frostbreath to undo the magic. But I doubt it'll work a second time. Then what?
I have one wounded IceWing and one Animus casted NightWing here.
Perfect.
What's more is there are tons of NightWing enemies which are being held back by a RainWing.
Perfect.

I better think of a solution quick! I can't depend on that RainWing forever!
What else can IceWings do?! That other dragons can't?!
As far as I can tell, there's only frostbreath! C'mon Clover! Think!
Let's see! How are we different?!
Different wings... Different talons... What else?!
I swished my tail back and forth in frustration.
Oh yeah! My tail!
So I smashed my tail against the chains, hoping it'll work. Cause if it doesn't I'll have to explain to Mother why is there a dent in my tail. And why I would be stupid enough to smash my tail into chains.

Thankfully the chains broke, shattering into millions of pieces. Which COULD of blinded me!!!!! I am SOOO gonna sue Glacier later!
The NightWing woke up, glared at Glacia, then went back into battle.
The weird NightWing that the RainWing told me to follow is hovering in the air, annoyed and irritated. His name is ShadowEclipse? I dunno...
I still have to help Glacia! I tugged on her one last time.
The White NightWing saw me and dropped Glacia on its back. Then it signalled me to take off.
So I flew away, with these 2 strangers I just met. And leaving the RainWing behind to fight my battle. What a disgrace. My ranking is sure to go down.
As we flew back, I had a mini conversation with the White NightWing.
"So..... Um....." I said awkwardly, "So.... What's your story..?"
The White NightWing gave me a bitter glare,"Animus..... Magic..... Stuck.... Cave...."
I suppose it has a hard time talking, it probably haven't talked in awhile.
I'll start with something easier, "So... Um... NightWing.. What's your name?"
The NightWing looked irritated but it answered my questions anyways, "Name.... Is.... Traitor.... That's.... The... Name... Tribe... Gave..... Me...."
Traitor? What sorta name is that?! I'm guessing they named it that because it looks like an IceWing, with those white scales.
"Hmm.... I don't think the name traitor fits you... How about.. I dunno, Morrowflight?"

WHOAH! CLOVER! What were you thinking?! Morrowflight?! Morrowseer x Starflight?! (Woop woop! Someone please write a fanfic about this. NOT!)
Sorrrrrry! I just randomly combined two NightWingish words!
The NightWing doesn't look offended at all, it just snorted, "I'm.... A dragoness... Girl..."
"Oh! I-I'm really sorry! I- just assumed! Sorry!" I said quickly.
The NightWing laughed, "It's.... Ok....."
Finally! Someone with a sense of humour! I grinned, "So... How about... Diamond! Your scales shine bright like glowing diamonds and your scales are as tough as them as well!"
"D-i-a-m-ond......" The NightWing said, carefully pronouncing each letter.
"Hey, you never exactly told me how your scales are so strong! and why were you stuck in that cave?"
Diamond grunted, "Scales... Born.... Under.... Three... Crescent.... Moons.... Tribe... Hate.... Diamond.... So... Diamond.... Left.... And... Hid.... With... IceWings..."
"Oh... I'm sorry..." Oh I understand. Completely. Being called RainWing.
"Diamond.... Hid.... Ice Tribe... For.... 1 year.... Glacier... Found.... Me.... And she bounded me to this cave..... Cause I'm a NightWing.... Each month, dragons come to steal my scales.... Hurts...."
I was surprised, Diamond actually managed to speak part of a sentence! But her story, is quite... Miserable?
"I'm guessing it's an animus doing?"
"Yes...."
Glacia started to wake up and stretched her wings.
Glacia saw Diamond carrying her and she jumped off immediately.
"Hiss... Stupid NightWings! What did you do?! What happened?! Listen, if your trying to kidnap us I will snap your neck-"
"Woah Glacia! Diamond is not our enemy! She saved you!" I inturupted.
Glacia and Diamond both exchanged glares then turned away.
"Then what up with that NightWing?" Glacia spat.
Oh right. I almost forgot about him. The NightWing we were following, ShadowEclipse.
Hmmm, now how do I answer that question... 'Oh, we were just following him because a RainWing told me so.' I sound pathetic.
Thankfully the NightWing answered for me, "Oh hey, I'm ShadowEclipse! Nice to meet you! And thanks for the warm welcome!"
Glacia snorted and Diamond looked at him curiously.
"Diamond..... Don't..... Recognize..... ShadowEclipse.... From.... Tribe..." Diamond lightly clawed me.
Hm? Weird.....

In a few minutes, we arrived.
It took me a few seconds to realize where I am. Dark skies? Red snow? WHERE AM I?!
IceWings corpse lying everywhere. Igloos were burning down. Everything.... My home.....
"Sorry..... About.... What..... Happened..... To.... Village...." Diamond nudged me.
I was too shocked to answer.
I turned around and whacked ShadowEclipse with my tail, "ITS YOUR FAULT! YOU did this!! Your tribe burned down my HOME! What now?! Are you gonna kill me, Diamond, and Glacia? Not gonna happen! I DON'T EVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!"
"Wait!...."
I took off to the general direction of where my igloo used to be. Hopefully I'll find mother, she'll know what to do.
Diamond and Glacia thankfully followed me.

I found my igloo in the middle of the burning village, dead dragons everywhere, my friends, my neighbours, my tribe. I dashed into my igloo, hoping, somehow Mother may have survived.

"MOTHER?!" I roared just as I ran inside to find blood splattered everywhere.
A NightWing solider had a claw on Mother's head. Mother just managed to give me a weak smile before.....
