8- Descoveries
I practically flew from the plane (oh the irony) and walked right up to the railing on the other side of the runway, peering down at the many water type Pokemon below. I didn't recognise all of them, but most I did from my previous journeys. Silver came to my side, followed by Red. Both seemed interested in the many species of Pokemon below as they pulled out their Pokédexs and scanned some of the new Pokemon below.
"Skrelp, Dragalge, Clauncher and Clawitzer." Red read out. "They're pretty cool." He said sounding impressed.
I gave a small nod. Unlike normal people I couldn't hear the Pokemon talk using their name, I heard them all having their own conversations. It could actually get quite annoying sometimes. Though, nowhere near as annoying as Night could be.
Hey! I happen to resent that comment.
"Oh shut up you."
Make meh~!
I mentally sighed and shook my head while following the boys to the city, having my own little mental argument with Night. I don't even know how we ended up on the topic but eventually we started talking about what bad guys might be in Kalos and who's butt I'd have to kick while being here.
All I'm saying is that it doesn't take a genius to figure out you're going to Kalos, it's the last region with an established league that you haven't faced yet. Therefore, Cyrus unfortunately isn't a complete idiot and would've figured it out, who knows what happened to N and there may be other bad guys here in Kalos so be carful.
"When am I not careful?"
Do you want your list in chronological or alphabetical order?
"What list? Anything that happened in Unova wasn't my fault, and I was overly careful then. Anything else you shouldn't know about."
I have my own sources of information.
"Really? Who?"
I'm not telling~!
I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
By the way, if Arceus says that I poured a tub of gold paint and covered him with glitter bombs this morning I didn't do it.
"Really Night?"
Hey I was experimenting if I could turn a Pokemon shiny. Lets just say that the only colour changing Arceus did was turning red...
I sighed and rolled my eyes again.
"Hey Emma, look up there." Red snapped me from mine and Night's conversation.
I looked up at a flock of orange and grey bird Pokemon. "Oh they're just Fletching, Fletchinder and Talonflame. The common bird Pokemon of Kalos." I shrugged.
"Have you been here before?" Silver frowned.
I gave a small nod and winced slightly. "A while ago with Clair, that's where I got this." I held up my bracelet with my key stone in it. "Also broke my wrist... Don't ask about that..."
"How'd you break your wrist?" Silver frowned.
"Didn't I just say don't ask?" I glared but sighed and explained anyway. "I got into a fight...." I rubbed to back of my head with a small smile. "Some kid was insulting the scars I had back then and one thing led to another and next this I know, Clair is dragging me away from his beaten up body." I let out an awkward chuckle.
Silver sighed. "Why does that not surprise me?"
"Cause I get angry quickly? Cause I dislike people even mentioning the scares I had? Cause-"
"It was rhetorical Emma."
"I know. I just like being a smart ass." I smirked.
Silver rolled his eyes. "Why did I agree to this?"
"Don't ask me. I would of happily left you in Johto."

"Petunia, leave that poor Bunalby alone." I growled, chasing after my Deerling.
~But it stole my poffin.~ Petunia pouted angrily. ~Hey what's that?~ Petunia dropped the Bunalby she had caught in her mouth and a pranced over to a Vivillion fluttering past happily. ~It's so pretty!~ She giggled.
I sighed and rubbed my temples before returning Petunia to her Pokéball and walking back towards the Pokemon centre, Hope and Trust by my side. I fiddled with my hood, making sure it covered my whole face to make me less noticeable amongst the crowds of people.
~That went better than expected.~ Hope snorted.
"How so? That was a disaster."
~Well Petunia didn't kill anyone so... I'd say that was rather successful.~
~Agreed.~ Trust nodded, jumping onto my shoulder. ~Can we go to the gym now? I wanna battle.~
"I'm not gonna use you two this time." I mumbled as we reentered the city.
~Whaaat!?~ Trust whined.
"I haven't ever really had a chance to train Trixie, Petunia or Dreamer. Especially Petunia. I traveled around with Dreamer in Unova and I've had Trixie for the longest but I want to train the three a bit more and with this gym being known as the easiest I though it would be the best option." I shrugged.
Trust jumped off my shoulder and pouted as we entered the Pokémon Centre.
I rolled my eyes. "Stop being such a big baby."
I walked the cafeteria where Silver and Red were waiting for me, already eating their lunch. "Your know it's polite to wait until everyone arrives before you start eating." I said while sitting down next to Red.
Silver for once didn't narrow his eyes at me doing so but rolled them instead. "You took to long."
"And you didn't call a search party? Good on ya Silv. You're finally learning I can take care if myself." I smirked while reading over the menu for the smallest posable meal since I wasn't that hungry.
"No I just decided that Petunia was probably chasing some poor person around."
"Pokémon." I corrected him.
"Even better."
I shrugged. "She's still a baby so... Can't really blame her."
"Well they say Pokémon pick up bad habits from they're trainers."
I rolled my eyes and gave my order to a waiter who'd come over. "Cute but no. Petunia is the way she is because her home was destroyed when she was still in the egg, even when still in an egg a Pokémon can feel what's going on around it and that could of led to how she is now. Dreamer herself hatched really sick after having similar circumstances, Celeana saved her but after that she was able to see little things of the future in her dreams. Thus I named her Dreamer."
"Interesting." Red nodded. He'd been oddly quiet all day... I shrugged it off.
I glanced out the window at the surrounding trees and for a brief moment I could of sworn I saw the eyes of a Pokemon watching me closely before fleeing into the forest.
~*🌸*~
"Stupid fucking spider web." I hissed under my breath, throwing my arms out to catch me once more. "How do they expect people to walk on these things if I can't even do it." And I spent 6 months living in the trees.
Stupid bug type gym.
Faith was sent into another fit of giggles. ~You're hilarious at this.~
"Shut the fuck up." I hissed, taking a leap onto the gym leaders platform. "Most annoying fucking gym I've ever been in."
"That's not very nice." A lady, who looked more like a teenager, frowned. I'm assuming this is the gym leader.
"Well nether is that fucking web out there." I glared and pulled off Dreamer's Pokéball from my belt. "Now let's get this over with. I have better things to do."
"You're not very nice."
"Nether is your gym but you don't see me going around, attempting to insult people. Now can we battle or not?"
The gym leader pulled a Pokéball from her belt. "Maybe we need to teach you some manners."
"Many have tried, none have succeeded." I said plainly. "Dreamer, assistance please." I threw out my Blitzel.
~Hiya!~ Dreamer nickered, stomping her foot playfully.
"Surskit, time for battle!" The gym leader shouted. Pish, first sign of nervousness, yelling at unnecessary moments. "I'm Viola by the way, you are?"
"None of your fucking business." I glared, pulling my hood further over my eyes.
"Okay okay, sheesh. Miss grumpy pants."
I rolled my eyes. "Dreamer, start things off with a Spark."
~Okay mama!~ Dreamer giggled.
Sparks of electricity jumped from her coat and gathered up to her lightning bolt shaped horn. She gave a shrill cry and flicked her head back then threw it forward, throwing the electricity at her opponent.
"Surskit dodge!" Viola cried quickly.
Surskit flinched slightly at the quick pace things were happening in before attempting the run out if the way but tripped over her four skinny legs, allowing her to be hit with Dreamer's attack. Viola's Surskit was blown back and didn't get up.
Well... either Dreamer's stronger than I thought or the gym leader's weaker.
"Is that all?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow. "Well, looks like we have out work cut out for us, don't we Dreamer?"
Dreamer giggled. ~This is easy.~
The gym leader glared at me. "You're not very nice are you?"
"No, I just don't like people I don't know and last time I checked I don't know you. Now are we done cause I have better shit to do and that stupid web out there has gotten me into a pissed off mood.."
~Mama, no naughty words.~
I rolled my eyes. "Sorry Dreamer." I mumbled as the gym leader pulled out her next Pokéball, throwing it in the air releasing the Pokemon from inside.
~Vivillion.~ The butterfly called.
Hmm... never battled one of those before.
"Alright Dreamer, I'd say bug and flying so be quick and use Spark again."
~Yes mama!~ Dreamer nickered, attacking the Butterfly Pokemon.
"Vivillion dodge and use Infestation!" Viola called.
Barely making it out of the way of Dreamer's attack, Vivillion shot out a green blob of ooze that seemed to move on it own. It hit Dreamer and covered her in the clingy substance.
~Ow ow ow, it hurts!~ Dreamer whimpered, kicking and bucking around while shaking her head furiously.
I frowned and pulled out Dreamer's Pokéball, returning her with a growl. "Alright Petunia, your turn to play." I smirked, throwing out the Deerling.
~Play play play!~ The Deerling giggled running after the Vivillion. ~I wanna with the pwitty butterfly!~
Yeah... I'll skip the details but let's just say I won... and Vivillion won't be battling for a few weeks....
"Okay I won. Hand over my badge so I can get the hell outta here." I extended my open hand for my fairly earned badge.
Viola hesitantly handed the badge over. "You know if you were a bit nicer you'd make more friends."
I shrugged. "I'm good with the ones I have thanks, I can barely stand them half the time." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Now where's the way out of this place cause there is no way in hell I'm going back on that web."
The gym leader pointed behind her. "There's a set of stairs round back."
"Thank you and good bye."
I hurriedly escaped the gym. "Thank Arceus." I muttered as I exited.
"You win?" Silver asked from a bench outside with Red who was training with his Pikachu.
"Did you really wait there the whole time?"
"Yup, though it was quick."
I held up my badge. "Piece of cake. I've battled Zubat's that were stronger than those Pokemon." I snorted while pocketing the badge. "And I'd suggest waiting till tomorrow to battle. Petunia had fun with the gym leaders Pokemon."
Red chuckled with Pika in his shoulder. "I'm sure she would have."
"Let's go back to the Pokemon centre. Dreamer has some sort of attack that cause damage over time that I want to get it off her... Infestation I think it was called." I said shoving my hands in my pockets. Even though I didn't have scares anymore I still felt more comfortable in a hoodie and jeans. Short stuff made me feel exposed.
I subconsciously pulled out Hope and Trust's Pokéballs from my belt and let them out. Trust was still pouting about not being able to battle but Hope jumped onto my shoulder and yawned.
~So how'd it go?~ She asked simply while scratching behind her ear with one of her front paws.
I reached up to scratch it for her making her purr with pleasure. "Fine, pretty easy as far as gym leader go."
A sudden explosion rippled though the air coming from a nearby route.
"What was that?" Silver asked looking towards the path the explosion came from. "It was to big to be a battle."
I frowned as well, an uneasy aura lingered in the air, setting my nerves on edge. "Something doesn't feel right..." I muttered. "Let's check it out..."
Silver and Red nodded and the three of us took off running towards the small route 4.

When we finally reached the point of the chaos. We found the grown men that were dressed identically harassing two kids, both hugging their Pokemon.
"Just hand over the Mawhile and Banette and no one will get hurt." One of the grunts growled.
"No, Mawwy's mine." The little girl yelled hugging a Mawhile.
"Hey, ganging up on kids is not cool." I growled, pulling Guardian's Pokéball from my belt and letting her out.
"Hey an Absol! Bonus!" One of the three men cheered. "What do you want for it?"
I gave him a WTF look. He goes from harassing kids the hand over their Pokémon to trying to get mine.
I got a good look at the three men's uniform. At this point as well. All three wore identical long sleeved shirts with a black collared vest over the top. A black mega evolution symbol was printed on their white T-shirts. They had white dress pants and shoes. All three had black hair in the same slicked back style but one looked like he was wearing a wig the other had brown roots showing through his dyed hair.
If I had to guess, a new evil organisation. Oh how fun this shale be.
"So what's your team want?" I crossed my arms with a raised eye brow.
"'Scuse me miss." The one with the wig asked.
I face palmed. "Why does every fucked up person apart of some fucked up organisation have to call me annoying nicknames? It's really starting to get annoying."
"We are Team Rift and we want that Absol of yours so hand it over or we'll have to take her." Brown roots said.
I rolled my eyes. "If only I got a Pokédollar every time I was told that."
Guardian snickered with a smirk plastered on her face.
"Taking it, it is then." Mr. wig said, throwing some type of Pokéball in the air but this one was completely black and seemed to have pulsing green lights in some sort if pattern across the top.
Out of it came the most surprising thing. It was a Scizor which for a grunt win its own was surprising but that wasn't it. It was Mega evolved, when it came out from it's Pokéball and it didn't look right either... and it defiantly wasn't a shiny Pokemon cause it didn't have the stars when it was brought out of the Pokéball so that was out of the question...
This Scizor was pitch black where it was meant to be red and where it was meant to be black it was white. The white parts of its feet and claws were a bright ominous green white the wings were transparent green. It's eyes were completely green and it's whole body was covered in a pulsing green light the seemed to branch off like veins in complex patterns.
"I'm no expert with Mega Evolution but that's not right is it?" Red said sounding awe struck.
"No that's not right." I glared at the people. "What have you done to that Scizor!?" I growled.
"Our scientists made some improvements. You better like them cause the same thing is going to happen to your Absol." Mr natural hair snickered.
"Over my dead body!" I glared, raising my wrist to Mega evolve Guardain. "Red, Silver I have this covered. Go help the kids."
Both the boys nodded and went towards the two kids while the three grunt had their attention on me. The other two let out matching Scizor, all three pulsed in sinc. Their eyes held a blank expression, and I got a spine chilling feeling when our eyes met.
"Guardian, Mega Evolution activate!" I called raising my wrist with my Mega Stone on it and taping it lightly with my other hand. It started pulsing before lighting up, Guardian's Absolite reacted perfectly. She was covered by a fierce glowing light, a set of angel with sprouted from her back. Her fur around her head grew longer and covered her eye as a smaller horn grew from the other side of her head. The larger horn changed shape and size and finally her claws grew longer as she reared onto her hind legs and let out a growl. Her red eyes shining in distaste towards her opponent.
"Alright Guardian, start with Flamethrower on the middle one, Hope and Trust use Dig on the Scizor opposite you."
Not one of my Pokemon responded in any other way but following my order. Hope and Trust disappeared below ground and Guardian with a flick of her head used Flamethrower faster than the Scizor she was versing cause think, thus being hit by the four times super effective move.
"Scizor use X-scissor on the Absol!" The middle one, the one with natural looking hair, called. I'd take it he was the leader.
Instead of one obeying his commend all three charged in in perfect sinc. Their claws glowing a sickly shade of green.
Guardian reared and shot out another plume of fire towards the middle one. She succeeded in making him falter in his charge but the other two kept coming.
"Guardian do your best to dodge." I called calmly.
With a brisk nod Guardian jumped backwards and ducked low. At this time Hope and Trust burst from the ground, slamming their head's into the Scizor's chests. They both jumped back at the same time, landing in either side of Guardian.
The three Scizor regrouped, the middle one hunched slightly from the fire types attacks it had received from Guardain. All three of my Pokemon were weak to bug types but is won battles with type disadvantages before.
I could do it again.
