Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I last updated this book. Mainly because I haven't had anything to post about. But, the latest issue of DC Vs Vampires World War V. (Issue #3 for those who want to know specifically) featured both Damian and Raven.

Now for those who aren't caught up in the storyline. It's humans vs vampires. But then you also Damian Wayne who is a vampire along with his group that's trying to stop the other vampires. There's more to it but I'm just giving a general idea of what's going on. Basically Damian got turned into a vampire but for some reason that they never seem to explain how and why he never joins their side. Maybe it's his sheer determination and drive that kept him from turning. But he has a hatred towards vampires over what they've done to him and his family and he is hell bent on stopping them all. He managed to set a trap to kill the vampire queen (who was Barbara Gordon) at the time and now several of the other vampires are after him as a result. In this issue the vampires that try to catch him include Shazam, Cassie Sandsmark, and of course Raven!

Now nothing really shipping happens in this issue. But I figured since it is an issue that has Damian and Raven in it that it was worth talking about. Plus I just wanted another excuse to update this book again because it has been awhile and I miss y'all. Another thing that is kind of interesting as several others have pointed out is that 2 of the female vampires that go after Damian are 2 of Damian's love interests in 2 different universes. Cassie was his love interest in DCEASED and of course we got Damirae in the DCAMU. Kind of strange that those characters were chosen for this. Was that intentional by the writer or was it just a strange coincidence?

Now by the end of the issue the vampires are still in pursuit of Damian who is basically by him self (until a mysterious figure shows up to help him at the end). I know that a lot of characters die in this series. But I do kind of hope somehow Damian is able to save them and turn them good. I don't know if it will happen. But it would be kind of nice. There's some good stuff in this issue. Especially the design of vampire Raven who looks awesome.

Anyways, I just wanted to make a quick update to this. I'll post again after the next issue comes out and we learn what happens to Damian and Raven in the next issue. I'm still hopeful he helps to turn them good again. But given how so many people die in this series I can see that probably won't be the case.
