The moment was silence was interrupted quickly. He was sitting down on the most comfortable part of the chair before Jungkook literally almost fell onto his knees as Gyuri screamed excitingly, "I GOT IT!"

It was nearing 4am in the morning as the two males were literally feeling their own hearts burning with pain as she was finding the excitement of getting the clues that she needed. Taehyung rubbed his head painfully as he replied back with a cough soon after, "You scared the shit out of me."

Gyuri gave an apologetic smile as she sat back onto her seat as her notes were messily piled together after she was trying to figure out the answers to the mystery that they were set to finish. She glanced at the two men before motioning them to come over so that they can look at the notes together. "Here's what I thought...about the whole situation."

There's a high possibility that Sohee and Donghyuck didn't create the mess as their revenge already took place when the case of blaming Sanha has raping her already closed out. Their secret of the whole situation was already revealed since Sohee already confessed to her crimes, and she probably wouldn't want to reveal with her own mouth what the others have done.

Another possibility is that Seungkwan only played the role of providing the drugs as there were a few transactions on his card that regarded to drugs as Sihyeon secretly let them take some information out as she was also investigating the case herself since she didn't fully trust the school. Seungkwan was said to not have much grudge against the two scholarship students as Jaemin and Chan were the leading men to.

Speaking of which, Chan was rather not involved in any of this since he was seen to either bother Jinyoung or go to basketball practice as Jaemin missed a lot more practices than Chan as he was committed to practicing for games.

That brings us to one of the primary suspected students: Jaemin... Rumors claim that Jaemin and Eunbin were in a relationship as Jisung provided a secret testimony where he saw that Eunbin and Jaemin rather met often than expected. Jisung's brother, Taeyong, also helped tutor Eunbin's younger sister, and he often saw Jaemin coming by as he was paid to keep things a private matter.

Jinyoung was the most confusing manner of all since he was always either with Junho or Sanha. He also rarely got any remarks of hate from other students that can really change the game. But it seems that he also plays a small role in this game because some students claimed that Sanha and Jinyoung stopped talking to one another a week before he died.

Jungkook applauded with some cheer as he had his thumbs up as he asked teasingly, "How did you defeat Captain?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes as he muttered under his breathe quietly as she replied nervously with a small smile, "I just followed the leads that the captain placed. I just connected the dots since I found it pretty interesting."

From the outside, new shifts were taking place as the 4am shift members were now coming in to replace those who watched the station from 10pm. Taehyung yawned quietly as Jungkook was sipping on his tenth cup of coffee since he woke up from his nap. Gyuri felt accomplished for trying to connect the dots, but she felt the sleepy as her body was already signaling her to sleep. Jungkook excused himself from the room as he decided to get some breakfast from the convenient store across the station for the other two as he was the youngest. Taehyung managed to fight through as he was well used to staying up late without any sleep for days as he basically trained himself to do so.

After a few minutes of quietness, Taehyung stretched his arms out as he texted Sihyeon to visit the station so that he could question her about the investigation. He turned his attention towards the female in the room, who was falling asleep without a doubt. She kept waking herself up but it wasn't working as he found it amusing as she was doing her best to not fall asleep. He walked over to her as he gently tapped her shoulder to urge her to go sleep in the resting rooms that the station provided for workers who worked overnight. She tried to deny at first, but Taehyung kept persistently trying to chase her out.

Jungkook walked in on them bickering on what she should do as he placed the bag onto the table. He had his arm out so that Gyuri could rely on him so that they can walk over to the resting room together. Taehyung followed them as she reluctantly agreed since she felt more comfortable around the younger than the captain. He made an excuse to grab some hot water from the resting room as Jungkook helped her lay down so that she could fall asleep peacefully without any interruptions. There weren't any other officers in the room as Taehyung scanned the area just to be sure, as Jungkook watched his captain from the side since he noticed that Taehyung was acting differently than he usually was around Gyuri.

They both made their way towards his office as Jungkook glanced at the hot cup of water before looking at Taehyung to teasingly comment, "You could have asked me to get the cup."

"I needed to walk and get some air as well."

"Liar."

"Don't make me pour this hot cup of water on you, Jeon Jungkook."

Jungkook stuck his tongue out before quickly walking away first as Taehyung lifted his arm to attempt to actually splash the younger with the water. He stopped in front of the door as Jungkook ran in first as he stared out to the other side to take one last glance at the resting rooms again. Maybe Jungkook was right. Maybe he should have asked Jungkook to get the hot cup of water. He somewhat felt a pool of embarrassment rising in his stomach as he shook his head before walking into the office again to start working on the case once more.

"Junho, I'm scared."

"I know..but what happened...it can't be undone."

Jinyoung sighed heavily as he was sitting at the park bench as he begged Junho to come outside early in the morning before they went to school together as he felt his lungs clenching uncontrollably as he barely got any sleep and rest for the past two weeks. The sun barely rose an hour ago, and it was warming the cold atmosphere slowly as the cold winds were slowly dying down. The emptiness between their conversation was also being caught on as Junho kept his hands intertwined with Jinyoung's as the two just stared out towards the blank space.

"I want to protect you, Jinyoung. But you're not letting me."

"I don't want you to be targeted when you literally did nothing wrong. It was my fault."

They both sat quietly in peace as they both didn't want to let go as he already knew what Jinyoung was about to say. He wanted to deny it since they were both were kind of worried as the days of the truth being revealed was going to happen even if the school did their best to stop it from being revealed. He looked back at Jinyoung, whose face was half the size of when they first were together as he leaned over to give him a tight hug as he already knew what Jinyoung was going to say as Jinyoung hugged back tightly in return.

"We need to break up, Cha Junho. It's for the better."
