Night 10 (Part 1)

The sun was bleeding red in the sky, and it casted a sinister red shade onto the group who was back in the camp again.  Everything appears to remain untouched, but rather something appears to be missing...

"Where's Liz?" Lots asked no one in particular.

"Not here." Doges sarcastically shrugged.

"It's getting late now, we should settle in for the night." Deci suggested.

"No. We should go find her. We can't afford to lose another member." Creaking spoke up.

Lots looked like he wanted to protest, but seeing the looks on the other 3, he retreated his previous words.

"Fine. Me and Deci a group, you two a group. And no matter what, we'll meet back here at sunset." Lots said, his voice final.

The group nodded.

"It is getting dark quite soon." Creaking commented.

"Yep." Doges said.

"Look! There is sign of scattered leaves here, someone must have dragged some sort of object..." Creaking pointed out.

"Oooo! Your right!" Doges exclaimed.

The two followed the scattered leaves for several steps and began to notice something further.

"Those dark red dots..." Doges said with shaken voice.

"It looks like blood to me." Creaking commented.

"Oh no..."

The two broke in a fast walk to where the dark liquid trail lead, and there 100ft up ahead sat a curled up figure lying against the tree.

"Liz?" Doges called out, but there was no response.

The two took slow and cautious steps towards her.

"She's not responding!" Doges said with a hushed urgent voice.

"Shhh! I know!" Creaking hushed in reply.

"Liz are you alright?" Creaking called out again, but there was still no response.

Sensing something is wrong, Creaking went up beside her and gave a light nudge against Liz's shoulder. That's when Liz's arm came lose and fell to the side, revealing kitchen knife in one hand, and a cut wrist on the other.

Creaking jumped back at once as Doges let out a sharp shriek.

"Omg...omg...omg..." Doges cupped her face and looked ready to faint, but was quickly responded with a hug from Creaking.

"It's gonna be ok child...It's ok...We are all going to walk out of here alive..."

"I am done with this! I can't take this anymore!-" Doges let lose a flood of tears as she drummed Creaking's chest with her tiny balled fist.

"Shhh...Don't give up now, we are so close to solving the mystery! It's all going to work out in the end!" Creaking said as she patted Doges's back lightly.

Doges pulled away from Creaking's chest for a moment and made a face:

;.;

Doges with tears still filling the window of her soul, managed a small nod.

"Now that's a good girl..." Creaking patted Doges's head.

"Stop! It's embarrassing!" Doges blushed and complained.

"Shh! It's fine, no one is looking~"

"But still..."

"Still-"

Creaking's next word was forever silenced, as she found a long silver edged blade poking through her chest from her back.

A brief moment later, the blade was pulled out from behind, and Creaking dropped to the ground like a ragged doll. Giving Doges a full view of the attacker.

Doges's heartbeat came to a brief pause.

3 Remaining?

Q: Who do you think is the killer?
