I terrified shriek fills the air. The girl peaked her head through the leafs and branches, but the wolf blocked her view. She decided that whatever it was, the wolf had pinned it, and it was probably safe to go down.

"A little, my father is teaching me. Please come down." She smiled encouragingly.

"No, not unless your threat." She giggled. The boy slowly climbed down.

"What happened to you?"she asked.

"Well, I was in Rivendell, that is where I live, and father suggested I play outside, in the gardens. so I went out to the gardens. After awhile I heard something. I decided to see what it was, so I followed the sound out of the gardens, and into the woods," the boy paused.

" Then I followed it for awhile, until I found out it was a woodpecker, then I realized I didn't know where I was. I was lost. I've been trying to find my way back for two days." The boy finished.

"I can take you to my camp. Then later my father can take you back to Rivendell." She held out her hand to the boy. He took it and she led him back to her camp, Mataki trailing not far behind.

As the memory fades away, I feel myself drifting off to sleep...
