Chapter 34

Third person

That was several weeks ago. Now Leo was sixteen years old. It would only be two more years until he could be intimate with Blake. It wouldn't be that hard, would it?

It was actually much harder than it seemed. Dreams and fantasies caused problems with him, knowing they could not become a reality until two more years.

The two craved each other's touch, sometimes not even in an intimate way. Sometimes it was just that Blake wanted to hold Leo under the stars or that Leo wanted to hug Blake tight. That wasn't a problem compared to the other things.

The new rule made Leo very cautious about his actions with the other. He was worried about kissing or even touching in what could be taken in a suggestive manner. He was paranoid about losing the one he loved because of a nonspecific revision to a stupid rule.

"Leo, I really wish you would touch me... You're not going to lose me because you hold my hand or something..." Blake muttered softly, leaning against a tree in the forest.

The vampire looked to the side and sighed. He had been avoiding the other's touch for a while, as much as he wanted it. His nerves just were not allowing him. He thought he might lose the one he loved.

Leo moved closer and hugged his partner. The two cuddled under the light of the moon for a while. It was nice and something that wouldn't get them in trouble. They didn't have to be intimate in that way. They also wouldn't want to risk it after nearly being separated only weeks before.

"I'm sorry I've been avoiding contact... I'm just... So scared of losing you... I don't want to do something to break the dumb rule and then lose you for two years... I wouldn't be able to function without you..." Leo admitted, resting his head on the other's shoulder.

Blake thought it was sweet that he meant that much to his partner. He actually felt the same way. He wouldn't be able to function without Leo either. The vampire was everything to him. The two boys were truly meant to be. The only thing keeping them apart were the restrictions by their parents.

"It's alright Leo. I love you and we don't have to be physical yet. I don't really care if we're ever physical like that... I'm fine with just holding you close under the moonlight." Blake replied, kissing his partner's cheek.

It was true. Blake didn't care about the sex aspect of their relationship. He could live without it. Two years would be fine. As long as he could still be with Leo and spend time with him he would be happy. That's all he really needed.

Leo smiled and hugged his boyfriend tighter. He could wait two years for that. The vampire figured he could lived without it too if he chose to, although he'd like to experience it at least once. As long as they controlled themselves they should be fine.
