Annabeth

[EEEE! thank you guys for 100 reads!! luv ya'll

also I ship percabeth so this might be a little mushy :)]

I woke up to the sounds of footsteps.

"Wake up, Percy!" I shook him awake. "The Council somehow found us!" I pointed outside. He rubbed his eyes wearily and poked his head outside.

"Hey, if you don't mind, we're trying to sleep here without any interruptions, so kindly go back to your palaces and whatnot." He shouted to the elves outside, and then went back inside.

"Seaweed Brain, what did you do???" I stared at him. He smirked.

"Gave them a warning. Now let's go, I'm strong enough to vapor-travel now." He grabbed my hand and we disappeared into mist.

We reformed somewhere in the forest. Percy promptly decided to collapse—again—and I caught him by his waist.

"Argh, guess I'm not fully healed yet." He winced.

"I wonder how they're tracking us down." I wondered. Then I saw his wrist. "What's that?"

"Oh, Styx." He cursed. "That's a nexus. Keeps you from fading during a light leap." He took out Riptide and cut through the metal like it was thread.

"There. Now let them find us." He said brightly. He tried to stand, but I pushed him back down.

"Nuh uh, Seaweed Brain. You're going to rest." I ushered him to a soft patch of grass. He groaned.

"There you go, being all protective of me." He scowled. "Let me help, at least." He patted the spot next to him. I plopped down onto the sunlit patch and sighed, taking in the view.

"It's beautiful." I breathed. There was a cliff nearby, and when we peered down, colorful trees dotted the olive-green fields. There was a clear stream cutting through the mountains in the distance, and the crisp air of the Elvin world cleared my head. Even Percy was awestruck at the landscape.

I decided to peck his cheek and he smiled, some of the color returning to his cheeks. Those gorgeous sea-green eyes sparkled. The warmth of the sun shone down on us, and Percy plucked a small violet-gray flower and tucked it behind my ear. It was the perfect idea for a date, if there weren't crazy elves trying to chase us down and kill us.

"Finally, the gods are letting me have an uninterrupted date with my awesome girlfriend." He murmured.

"Don't jinx it!" I whispered. He laughed, a soft, beautiful sound, and kissed me. I kissed him back, and for a blissful second, nothing else mattered in the world. When we broke apart, I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Woah, that is some serious love-doves going on here!" A voice interrupted our cuddling. Percy nearly fell of the cliff.

"Who are you??" He asked suspiciously. The person—no, elf—was grinning down at us. He was a blonde, with sharp features and striking blue eyes like all elves. He had a husky voice and looked amused at us looking wide-eyed and probably gaping at him.

"I'm Grady. You must be the humans Sophie told us about." I almost scoffed. Humans? Really? At least she didn't reveal our secret to the adults.

"Don't worry, I'm working with the Black Swan. The Council can get really annoying sometimes." He winked.

"'Really annoying' is an understatement." Another voice came from the bushes. It was young and youthful and had the fragility of a woman's tone. A lady came out from the hedge. She was beautiful, with wavy amber hair that fell around her shoulders in soft curls. She had turquoise eyes, and rosy cheeks. Even thought Sophie explained the elves' lasting beauty, I was still in awe of their youthfulness.

"We're the elves that adopted Sophie." The lady wrapped her arms around Grady. "I'm Edaline. I'm sure you met Grady, here. Now tell me, what are you doing here? We were looking for an escaped verminion that somehow dug it's way out of the cage we bought for it."

"An escaped what? Never mind, I don't want to know." Percy shuffled to his feet but wobbled. His face was still pale. "We may or may not have escaped the Council. They may or may not want to put us in this prison called Exile or something. And we may or may not escape right now."

I elbowed him. "You're in no state to vapor-travel, Seaweed Brain."  I told him. Grady raised a brow.

"So you are the escaped humans." He laughed. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you. In fact, Sophie would be ecstatic to see you. We can bring you to her." He stuck out a hand. I scanned his body language. He was relaxed and calm, and I didn't think he was lying. Percy took his hand and I took Edaline's, and we light leaped to their home.

"Wow. You live here?" Percy gaped at the mansion, which seemed more like a palace. I was about to ramble about the architecture when Percy stopped me.

"You are not going to bore me to death about the architecture, Wise Girl." He smirked. I rolled my eyes. "I wasn't going to."

He shook his head. "Nuh uh, you can't turn down this amazing structure." He elbowed me playfully. I sighed. Seaweed Brain was right. He could practically read my mind. I looked around the property.

There were fields and fields of rolling hills, each keeping some sort of giant cage where there were all sorts of weird animals grazing the lush pastures.

"Sophie is almost done with her school day. She should be back any moment now." Grady led us towards the mansion. When we entered, it was as beautiful as the exterior. The kitchen was spotless, with huge glass walls and a sparkling door.

"Have a seat. I take it that you have not tried mallowmelt?" We shook our heads, and Grady laughed.

"One taste and you'll be in love." Grady took the seat next to us. "It's the best thing ever." Suddenly, the door opened and Sophie appeared, with Fitz, Keefe, a boy with strawberry-blonde hair and periwinkle eyes. There was a girl who looked a lot like Fitz, and based on their closeness, they were most likely siblings.

"Percy? Annabeth?" She stared at us incredulously. "I thought you were at Elwin's!"

"Key word: were." Percy corrected. Sandor, the bodyguard goblin came lumbering through.

"Ms. Foster, you know very well that I should enter in before you! What if there was an ambush like last time?" He squeaked. Despite his size and bulk, his vocal chords were fairly small and squeaky. Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Please excuse my overly protective bodyguard." She told us. "Anyways, what are you doing here—"

"IT'S THAT BOY!" Sandor shrieked. Keefe rolled his eyes. "No, it's my hero." He stared at Percy in awe. "I can't believe you did that to Alina!" He fist-bumped him.

"I did worse." Percy admitted.

"Like blowing up that volcano." I added. Keefe's eyes widened. "No way, dude. That was you?? Dang, bro." Fitz rolled his eyes as Percy nodded.

"Can we not talk about stuff blowing up?" The dark-haired elf asked.

"No." Keefe, Percy, and the strawberry-blonde kid chimed at the same time. The girl who looked like Fitz came up to me.

"They're ridiculous, aren't they?" She whispered.

"Totally." I agreed, as I watched them exchange stories on how they infiltrated their schools.

"I may or may not have had affiliation with the Great Gulon Incident." Keefe boasted.

"I helped blow up part of the school." Dex smirked.

"I may or may not have damaged Lady Galvin's cape." Sophie blushed.

"Well, I may or may not have killed a snake when I was in kindergarten, drop my class in a shark tank, exploded school buses, been expelled from 6 schools and made a volcano erupt." Percy ticked them all off of his fingers. Everyone except for me gaped, including Sandor and Grady.

"Ok kids, enough about who caused the most trouble. I made mallowmelt." Edaline came over and snapped her fingers. 10 plates of gooey cake appeared in front of them. They all dug in.

"By the way, I'm Biana. Don't think we met." The girl who looked like Fitz's sister introduced herself. "And this is Dex." The strawberry-blonde boy waved across the table.

"This is amazing!" Percy gushed, his mouth full. For once, I had to agree. This was amazing.

"So," Grady wiped his mouth with a napkin. "What are you doing here in the Elvin world?"

Sophie blushed. "Well, the Collective brought them here for questioning. I don't know why. Maybe—"

"It's because I can destroy the world." Percy butted in. I nodded.

"Percy could destroy the world. And possibly the other 9 worlds that exist." Grady froze.

"You can do what now?" Keefe asked.

"Destroy the world. Jeez guys, it's not a big deal."

"Yes it is, Seaweed Brain." I scowled.

"But I could've done that when I was 12!" He retorted. "And have I?"

"Well, no, but—"

"See? I'm harmless!" He grinned and took another bite.

"Says the guy who made a volcano erupt." Sandor muttered. "I don't like this at all."

"But the wrong kind of people want to use you for their will." Sophie said. Percy rolled his eyes. "That's kind of the point of the war against Gaea and Kronos, Sophie. Ever since Tartarus happened...well, I don't want to talk about it." His gaze darkened, and I shuddered. Tartarus was horrible, and it uncovered a part of Percy that I never wanted to see again.

"Like what happened to the Neverseen dudes you controlled?" Keefe asked. Percy paled. The room seemed to become 20 degrees colder.

"What did you do this time, Seaweed Brain?" I nudged him. He gave me a sheepish smile, but it seemed more like a grimace.

"I may or may not have controlled the Neverseen by blood-bending." He winced. I sighed.

"You promised not to do that, Percy!" I put my hand over his. He shook his head. "I-I didn't have a choice. It was either let Sophie die, plus everyone else, or let them get a taste of their own medicine. Plus, they had the guts or the stupidity to attack me."

"Well, I can't blame you for that." I allowed a small smile, but inside, I was terrified. Percy's fatal flaw made him darker and more dangerous than ever. It gave 'mess with me and die' kind of vibes, only 'die' is an understatement.

"As long as the Neverseen are out, I don't really care." Sandor grumbled. "I had enough of shady cloaks and white eyes for a millennia." Sophie smiled. "I'm sure you do, Sandor."

"Well, the reason I didn't exactly escape the Elvin world is because of two things: One, I was kind of lost. Two, there was a prophecy on the elves and the demigods." Grady nearly choked.

"Demigods?? What the heck is a demigod?"

"That's what I said." Dex mumbled.

[A/N I can't replay what happened when Percy explained the Greek gods and stuff cause im too lazy :P]

"Ok, this changes a lot of things." Edaline muttered.

"You had a prophecy, and you didn't tell me??" Was all I could think to say. He shrugged. "I mean, it was only a day ago, and I sorta got caught up from all that council-trying-to-kill-me kind of thing." I rolled my eyes.

"What was the prophecy?" I asked. He recited it:

"The seven shall rise

With the ones whom the shadows despise

To a land that was lost

Now rising from the dust

To join the swans that

Fly in the skies

The ones shrouded in darkness

The ones who have killed

Will be destroyed by the storm

With the Moonlark at his turn."

"That was...interesting." Sophie remarked. "I'm obviously the Moonlark, but who's the Storm?"

"Me." Percy said. "I sorta can make a hurricane so..." Sophie nodded. "'The land that was lost...' That could be Atlantis." Edaline nodded, conjured a piece of paper and a pen and wrote it down.

"'The swans that fly the skies' is the Black Swan." Fitz added.

"'I'm guessing 'the ones shrouded in darkness', plus 'the ones who killed' are the Neverseen." Biana said.

"'The seven' are the seven from Camp Half-Blood." I sighed. I didn't want the Seven to be involved right after the war with Gaea, but it wasn't like we had a choice. Trying to prevent a prophecy was like trying to stop a bulldozer.

"So, basically, the Seven and me and Sophie are going to stop the Neverseen, right?" Percy checked.

"And the Black Swan." Keefe reminded him. "Someone better tell Forkle and Della."

"I will." Grady said, pulling out an imparter.

"With that covered," Sandor growled grimly. "We have a war to prepare for."
