I'll Just Say Good-bye

I don't know how I feel

I'm so broken up inside

She won't say the words that I want to hear

She just makes up excuses

When I ask her, "Why?"

If only she knew, how much I want her near

But I know how she feels

Why the answers take so long

It's clear now, I can see

Where both of us belong

She has her life to live

The way she feels

I can't blame her for wanting a good time

But I want her here

She knows I do

I can't make her change her mind

And I know it will hurt me

To hear the answers, "Why?"

So to make things easier

I'll just say good-bye
