I sighed as Lilly pulled out more outfits that she wanted me to wear to the party. She was getting frustrated with me because I kept turning down all the choices. Let's just say we had different styles.

Lilly had long black hair, that she styled every day in a different way. Right now it was in a fishtail braid. Lilly wore hip, and modern clothes. She would do anything to make her outfit look great, even if that meant heels that killed her feet. This was why we were arguing. See while she dresses for style, I dress for comfort

"Come on please why can't you wear this one," Lilly begged . Holding up a red mini dress that left nothing to the imagination. It was for a lack of a better word "slutty"

"There are two reasons I will not wear that dress I will. Number one, I hate it. Number two, it looks like it came from the stripper club!!" I explained to her. There was no way I was going to let her put me in that dress.

"Oh come on. You would look so hot in that dress, and a certain someone wouldn't mind if you wore it," Lilly said.

" Who are you talking about?"I was curious,because I haven't told her about the whole library and Blake thing. Wait why would I care if Blake liked what I was wearing. Since when did I think of Blake?

Lilly giggled,"I'm talking about Luke silly."

"Luke has a girlfriend." I replied in a monotone voice. Hoping my sadness about the subject didn't show. I thought the Pain in my heart just thinking about it. Of course Luke was dating Katherine Walter she was perfect. Every guy in school wanted her, that's why she was dating Luke. They have the perfect thing going on the football player dates the head cheerleader. It was just like every other stereo typical high school relationship. That's why is his best friend I suffered in silence. I couldn't I couldn't tell him how I felt. I probably never would.

"It doesn't matter if he has a girlfriend. He can look he just can't touch," Lilly told me with a wink.

I looked at her. What she said didn't make sense, but I was going to be the one to tell her that." So should we get back to find me a dress?"

"Okay okay so since you rejected all my other choices. I think I have a dress for you." She then held up a dark blue dress. The dress came to just above my knee, it had long sleeves that ended at the wrist on the top of the dress was black lace, and it was to black lines that started just below the lace, and came to the waist line.( picture on side)

I smiled," Its perfect!!"

Lilly then held up a pair of black pumps. She shook them at me trying to convince me. " They would make you as tall as Luke."

Now that's was a scary thought. I was 5.1 ft Luke was 5.11 ft. I would kill my self in those heels. I shook my head side to side really fast,"Not going to happen. I will not kill myself in those deathtraps!!"

Lilly sighed in disappointment," Fine." She went back to her closet she came back with a pair of black boots, thought would end just bellow my knee, a black leather bracelet, and black heart earrings.

I smiled in approval," See, that's much better."

"You still would have looked nice in the heels."

"Yeah, if I hadn't killed myself first."

Lilly rolled her eyes at me," You would've been fine."

To that I said nothing. I took the clothes from her, and went to the bathroom to change. When I came back Lilly was wearing a black dress, with a red leather jacket, black suede High heels boots, silver earrings, A bracelet that says love, sliver statement necklace, and a silver headband. She looked great.

She looked at me and saw I was ready. She nodded her head at me in approval. Then swung the keys around her finger and said," Lets go party."

We arrived at the party. My heart was beating out of my chest. I looked at the huge blue house. The house wasn't a mansion, but it was close. So Blake lives here. There it was again, that feeling in my tummy butterflies. I had only ever gotten them when I thought about Luke. So why did I have them now? I couldn't already like Blake. We had just meet.

I shook my head, I needed to focus. I was about to walk into a party full of popular people. I basically knew no one here. My best friend who I had a crush on forever was here with another girl. Ouch okay that kinda hurt. I needed to stop thinking about him. I looked at Lilly, and together we walked into the party.

So if your a nerd like me you probably have never been to a high school party. This was my first so I was nervous. When we opened that door I hoped I would never again. Music was blasting I couldn't even hear myself think. I turned to Lilly to ask her something, but she was gone. Great now I'm alone, and then I remembered she was my ride.

I started to weave my way through the crowd, trying to find Lilly. There we so many people here. People were dancing to the music. If you could call what they were doing dancing. They were grinding on each other and making out. Yeah never coming to a party again.

I was searching for Lilly when someone grabbed my wrist. I was pulled into a chest. I smelled alcohol. I looked up to see a stranger.

"What's your 'ame sweeetty?" He asked. His alcohol breath hitting my face with full force.

I coughed. Trying to get the smell out of my lungs. I then tried to get out of his grip, but it only tightened. It was then he pushed me up against a wall. He looked down at me, and started to lean in.

Tears threatened to fall from my eyes. Was this how I was going to get my first kiss. This was the worst possible thing to ever happen. I kept struggling, but it was useless. I could do nothing.

"Please don't do this," I pleaded.

He said nothing, and kept leaning in. Then he was pulled off of me. I looked to see who my savor was. I couldn't believe it.

"I want you to get out my house!!!"

"Oh come on Blaaaake. I waus just haavning fumn."

"I don't care what you were doing. No one tries to take advantage of a girl in my house. I don't ever want to see you here again!!!" Blake thundered.

Blake had saved me. He saved me. I watched as the drunk guy left. Almost falling over as he did. I looked around. I thought a lot of people would be watching, but they were all still parting.

I looked back at Blake. He was staring at me. My face grew red. I knew he saw me blush, because he smirked.

Then his face grew worried, and he asked, " Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Well I am now. I am.... I mean Thank you." I stuttered. Oh my gosh could I look any more stupid.

He gave a hearty laugh at my response," I'm glad your okay."

He smiled at me. Good lord I thought I was going to melt in my boots. I quickly looked down trying to hide my face.

I felt hands wrap around my chin and bring my face up. My blue eyes meet gorgeous deep brown ones. My breath caught in my throat. We were standing so close.

"Don't ever hide your face," Blake whispered. Brushing my bangs out of my face.

My face grew redder at his comment. We both started to lean in. Was my first kiss going to be with the schools bad boy? I didn't really care about that now. I just wanted to kiss him.

Someone cleared their throat, breaking us apart. I looked up to see who it was. It was Luke, and he was angry.

"What do you think your doing?" Luke demanded. He wasn't asking me he was asking Blake.

"Just talking to Ryen. What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be making out with your girlfriend? " Blake replied getting angry.

" It looked like a lot more then talking to me, and mind your own business," Luke yelled. Oh crap this was bad. Someone was going to get a black eye.

"Luke I'm fine. Go back to Katherine. Come on Blake lets go dance," I grabbed Blake's arm, and dragged him to the dance floor( the living room with the furniture gone.) I thought I saw some hurt in Luke's eyes as we left, but I probably imagined it.

Blake and I started dancing. Don't freak out. We kept it G. Not that I would have dance like some other people were here if we were alone.

I couldn't help but sing along. Then I realised I was falling out of love. I looked at Blake as we danced. He gave me a playful wink. I smiled, Luke Carter was going to be on less problem from now on.

After hours of dancing with Blake. I still hadn't seen Lilly. I was now outside with Blake on the porch waiting to see if Lilly would come out of the house. I was leaning on the porch railing looking at the stars.

" Your in love with him aren't you," Blake asked breaking the silence.

"Who are you talking about?" I tried covering up that I already knew.

" You know who I'm talking about,"Blake said. His eyes watching me.

I sighed and looked away," Yes."

Blake came closer to me," Why? What makes him so great?"

I looked into Blake's beautiful eyes," I don't know. I guess it's because I know him so well, or he knows me. I have been in love with him since we were kids, but he'll never like me." I sighed and looked down.

" Don't hide your face," Blake said, for the second time this night.

I looked up at him. I barely knew him, so why was I feeling things for him? I have never liked anyone else , but Luke.

" If Luke can't see what a great girl you are then he is a idiot."

I laughed," Thanks."

He smiled at me. He looked like he was going to ask me something, but he shook his head," I don't think your friend is going to take you home anytime soon. Let me give you a ride."

I smiled and nodded.

Blake parked the car," He we are princess home sweet home."

"Princess?"

He shrugged," Your my library princess."

I blushed, and started to get out of the car.

Then I heard Blake yell, " Now that I know where you live can I stop down sometime?"

"Don't get any ideas pretty boy!" I shouted over my shoulder. I heard his booming laughter as I entered my house. I couldn't wait for school tomorrow.
