Cheese Garlic Fries

So I first heard about this dish in a book, not a recipe book but but a teen fiction story. There were no pictures just a description of the fries being creamy, cheesy with a wholesome garlic flavour, and I was sold. After much internet scouring, I finally found recipe that would help me replicate the dish I once read about.

My internet research also yielded that this a a very popular pub dish in Ireland but I cannot guarantee that my version here will be an authentic one but what I can guarantee is that it's super easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

56 grams cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoon milk
3 big cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon oil
1/4th teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Fries
Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Procedure:

1. Mix everything in a bowl except the optional garnish and the fries.
2. Heat it on low flame until the cream cheese melts and you get a thick sauce like consistency.
3. Bring it off flame and either toss the fries in it or serve as a dip.
4. Garnish with the chopped greens of the green onion.

Note:
1. The dish might be easy to assemble but it's definitely flavourful.
2. You can reduce the garlic to 2 big cloves if you are not fan of overpowering garlic flavour.
