In the rehearsal

"Okay, everybody! From the top! Stand by! Playback! Lots of energy now! And... standby Chica!" Y/N called out.

Underneath the stage, there stood Chica in her green alien costume with green makeup on her face as she looks depressed.

"And... action!"

Then, she was catapulted out into the stage as she begins to sing while jumping.

"Ooh, look what you made me do

"And cue Roxy!!"

Roxanne came in her space outfit, holding a staff and came over to singing Chica.

"Ooh, look what you made me do

Roxy 'whacked' her, knocking her off as Chica fell back down underneath the stage as sand dusts were blown after that hit.

"Take that, you nasty alien monster!" Roxy growled, showing her fangs before she turn around to Y/N and smiled nervously. "Did I do good?"

Y/N, Bunnie, and Rotor stare at her like she did do something wrong.

"Yeah. That was... so good." Y/N fake smiled, lying through her teeth.

"Great!"

Roxy looked down in the hole where Chica is.

"You doing alright?"

Chica just gave her thumbs up and fell back down.

"Okay... She cannot act-" Bunnie said.

"Shh! I know, I know. But we gotta keep her super handy. Plus, you know who would say..." Y/N said, hushing her to not upset Roxy.

"Take that, you nasty alien monster!" Roxy repeated, knocking down the boxes with her staff aggressively.

"Yeah, but she's a little... too competitive." Rotor whispered, sweat dropping.

Y/N looked around the room and noticed they're missing someone. She looked down at her list and saw the name she was looking for. Montgomery Gator.

"Hey, Roxy? Have you seen Monty? He's gotta rehearse."

Roxy stopped to what she was doing and sighed.

"Probably staying in his room all day. We tried getting him out, but he's too... discouraging and he almost got aggressive with us after another confrontation."

"Oh, I see... I'll try and talk with him. We can't finish this show without him. I made him a role for a reason." Y/N said, standing up. "I could also take this a chance to teach Sharad how to sing."

Sharad, aka Eclipse, turned to her in surprise after hearing his name.

"Wha? Me?"

"Yes, let's go."

"Wait, what about the show?" Rotor asked.

Y/N stopped and turned to him and Bunnie.

"Bunnie, I want you to keep practicing your singing voice. I know you can do it."

"Don't worry about me, Shugah."

"And Rotor, you're in charge of taking care of the rehearsal while I'm away. I'm serious. This is big. You gotta be tough, you gotta be firm, and you cannot, I repeat, I cannot let production fall behind. Not one little bit. Is that clear?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Rotor saluted.

"Great! Take care!"

Y/N grabbed Sharad's arm and they both jogged off to go find Monty, leaving Rotor to deal with the production. After they're away, Rotor looks up to see the Mobian worker spray painting the well-made volcano. He goes up on his hoverboard and brings out the megaphone.

"Mason!"

Mason jumped up in surprise and looked down to see Rotor.

"That volcano should have been done yesterday!"

"We-We're on it, Rotor!"

"You better be!"

Rotor turned to Sonic and Sally, who're in their white outfits.

"Sonic, Sally! Take it from the top of this time! Put a little juice in it, will ya?!"

"W-We got it! We're trying our best!" Sally stuttered in shock.

"A little juice?" Sonic questioned.

The doors opened to see a panting Roxy. She looks like she's been running for hours and looks relieved to be here.

"Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late!"

"Where have you been? You're two hours late for a rehearsal!" Rotor asked, keeping it down on the microphone.

"Some fans saw me and chases me while I'm simply trying to get a smoothie."

"Well, don't ever let it happen again."

"Wait, where's Y/N?"

"She's busy and will come back later. I'm in charge here. Now get your tail to wardrobe, Roxy." Rotor strictly said before walking away.

Meanwhile, Y/N and Sharad are heading into the place where Freddy and the gang lived as they head inside the big house car where the rooms are as they stopped by the green door with the symbol of Monty on it. She knocked on the door.

"Hey, Monty? You doing alright?"

"Go away!"

"Geez... Rude much?" Sharad muttered.

"Come on! Is there something you wanna talk about?"

Silence was heard as Monty didn't bother to reply as you could hear the strings of the guitar being played.

"We are not leaving until you talk to us." Y/N warned.

Another silence as Monty kept playing his guitar.

"Fine. If you're not coming over here, we're coming over to you."

Back to rehearsal as Roxy stood on the high platform and jumped off, flying gracefully as she circle around the planets and moving past them before diving down. Chica watched from the distance below with a face of dejection. Roxy reaches her hands out towards Rotor, who's also flying and in his space outfit, but it slips through her grasp as they move past each other. Rotor struggled to control his flight and ended up slamming himself against the rock planet, slipping down.

"Ow..."

"You okay?!" Bunnie called in concern.

"Yes! Let's stop right here! What was that? You look like you're trying to kill me..."

"It's not my fault! You keep missing the catch!" Roxy groaned as she and Rotor landed down.

"Let's go again, alright? Sonic, Sally, we're coming to you next and I better see some chemistry between you two." Rotor said, looking at Sonic and Sally, who nodded.

"You ready for it, Sal? Just like we practiced."

"Yeah, I'm just... a little nervous."

"Well, to be honest, I'm scared too, but this is for Y/N. She definitely did the right thing of picking us."

"Yeah, let's do it." Sally kissed him on the cheek.

In the empty parking lot, Freddy was practicing the moves Hamlin taught him as he tried to take a stand on the wooden staff and managed to make it stand perfectly with his arm out, holding the second staff.

"Yes!"

He spoke a little too soon as he fell onto the ground with a painful grunt. A pair of red shoes stood before him.

"Whoa, Fredbear! You're not ready to be busting out these moves." Honey said, looking down at him.

"Sorry." Freddy said as Honey helped him up.

"Look at you. Hamlin has thrown you into deep end and drain out all of your confidence like..."

Honey made a funny face like she just suck onto the lemon, making a sucking noises and Freddy to laugh. She brought out her radio and placed it on the ground and played the music as Sueltate was heard.

"Don't worry. We'll put up to it. Step by step. Just forget what Hamlin told you and go with the flow."

Freddy and Honey began practicing the moves that are way different from Hamlin's dance lessons and it's more energetic and fun. Two days were made and after practice and practice, Freddy is now back in the dance room as he and Riot circle around each other once more as Riot did the same moves, but Freddy's moves is different. He begins to dance around and then spins and got on his back and spins rapidly, impressing Riot, who's amazed. Then after a few minutes of spinning, Freddy got back into his position and he and Riot got onto the staff and stood on it perfectly and crossed their staff against theirs, this time Freddy didn't fall from the staff he was standing. Honey's lessons went well and improved. The practicers cheered for Freddy as he got off and they began to huddle around him, praising for his good dancing. Hamlin stood there, looking unimpressed and quiet as Honey stood next to him and elbowed him in the stomach.

"Now didn't you say you're gonna eat your hat?"

She took the hat off from him and rubbed it on his fat belly.

"Well, there you go. Mm. Yum, yum."

Honey then walked away, dropping his hat and making him catch it. Hamlin then glared at Freddy, who's being praised once more. Freddy noticed it and stared at him. Hamlin huffed in and out and angrily slammed the staff onto the ground. He puts his hat back on and and gave him an eye on you gesture and walked off, leaving Freddy concerned and confused.

In the dressing room, Sonic stares lovingly at Sally, who's getting her dress decorated by the designer. Tails, who's helping him with the costume, notices his stare and follow his gaze towards Sally.

"Hey, Sonic. You okay? You've been staring at her for hours."

"Sorry, it's just... she's so wonderful."

"Of course she is. She has a big heart."

"I know. But every time I wake up, I feel like something was missing. I have you, my sis, everyone and everything I could ever hold on to. But there's something more than that. Until I realize what I really wanted."

"What's that?"

Sonic looks around and whispers to Tails.

"Don't tell anyone about this. But I have something that I never got to tell anyone, not even my sis knows yet."

He pulls something out of his pocket to reveal a small cubed black case. He then opens it to reveal a beautiful Princess-cut Swiss Blue Topaz and Diamond ring. Tails gasped, eyes sparkling with joy.

"Sonic... you..."

Sonic gave him a grin.

"I'm going to ask her to marry me."

Tails silently cheer and hug his bro, making him hug back.

"When are you going to tell her?"

"Once the real show starts and I'll be able to tell her before the next play."

"Are you going to tell Y/N about this?"

"Nah, let this be a surprise for her and everyone else, including Sally. Keep this a secret between us, okay?"

"Of course!"

Back to Y/N, Sharad (Eclipse), and Monty, Monty was busy playing golf in his own attraction Monty Gator's Golf as he strikes a hole-in-one easily then pulls out another ball. Sharad tried to talk to him, but seeing that he doesn't intend to listen he decides to sit on the log to watch him play. Y/N comes in with two cups as she comes toward Monty, who stops to see her. She hands it out to him.

"It's tea? You drink it?"

Monty silently thanks her and takes the cup. He slowly takes a sip and suddenly pulls away, tasting something disgusting.

"Did you put honey in this?"

"Yeah. I promise. This is going to be the most wonderful, fantastic show ever. And at the ending? It's gonna be you and your song-"

Monty leer down at her with a snarl.

"You don't want to miss the show."

Monty leans back up.

"Besides, I don't have what it takes. I'm never good at singing."

"Really? Your voice sounds fine and good to me." Y/N said.

But the alligator didn't care and turn away. Y/N stare at him for a moment and sigh.

"Listen... this is all because you and your friends lost your bunny friend, isn't it?"

"Oh, great! Don't bring him up! We're not talking about Bonnie."

"I know he inspired so many of your and your friends' songs-"

"All of our songs. He inspired me and I looked up to him." Monty corrected her, going back to playing golf.

"Right. I... I can't imagine what it feels like to lose someone so special. But... do you think this is what Bonnie would have wanted for you? I mean, you out here on your own and never performing again?"

Monty gripped onto his golf club.

"No, y-you don't understand. There's... there's no rockstar living in here anymore. I'm nothing but a stupid gator who replaced Bonnie."

"Monty, you just need to play and be more confident. Your songs will bring you back. You can."

He tightened onto his golf club, nearly bending it.

"You can reconnect-"

He turned and snapped his jaws at her.

"No, I can't!"

This shocked her and Sharad.

"Even if I did, what good will that bring? I'm nothing! I'm a monster as everyone called me since I always go on rampage without controlling it! I will never be like Bonnie that everyone loves!"

Monty takes a deep breath and goes over to the log where Sharad is and sits down, putting his golf gear down. He sits there for a moment to calm himself and looks at Y/N and spills the tea onto the ground and places the cup down.

"And I don't like honey in my tea."

He then got up and walked out of the room, heading back to his room. Y/N looks at him with a frown, knowing how he feels. Sharad walks over to her and pats her shoulder.

"He's not gonna change his mind."

"He will. But you should go back and practice your rehearsal."

"Me? What about you?"

"I just need time. I can't just leave him like this."

Y/N picks up the cup he placed and looks back to where Monty have gone.

"Wherever you go, I go with you. Besides, we still have time before the final show starts."

"Okay..."

Y/N and Sharad tried to think of a way to convince Monty to be part of the show as it would mean the world to Freddy, Chica, and Roxy for him to be there. With nothing to help since he's so stubborn, Y/N brings out her final plan as she writes him a letter and places something attached to it and pushes it underneath the bottom of the door. They then decide to head out, knowing they need to rehearse before the final week. As they walk by, they decided to head into the woods to clear their mind. Sharad looks around to see if anyone is watching until he presses the watch and the hologram disappears to show Eclipse.

"You're pretty perfect, aren't you?" Eclipse asked with a smile.

Y/N looks up at him with a surprised expression.

"No. No, I'm not."

"It's okay, you can admit it."

"No, I can't though, because I'm not."

Eclipse looks at her surprised. What is she talking about? Y/N sighs, shaking her head and then stands.

"Look, to be honest with you, and I know you didn't mean it in a bad way or anything, it's just... I...I hate that word. Y'know, perfect, it's just impossible. It's like I find myself doing this thing I know that I shouldn't but, I'm, like, trying to be what everybody expects me to be, and it is exhausting. Sometimes saving the world can be exhausting too and every time I do something to prevent the war that's been going on, no thanks to Eggman, it's like I'm not doing it enough to keep everything in place and in peace. Sometimes I wish Eggman never existed in the first place, but at the same time, I'm glad... Because I get to have an amazing adventure with all of my friends and family that I know and I don't want to forget that."

Y/N sits on the bench.

"Yeah. Well, I didn't mean it like that." Eclipse said.

"I know, I..."

Eclipse sits beside her on the bench.

"It just seems like you have it all figured out."

She turns away and gazes off with a furrow brow. Y/N starts to sing.

She wanders away from the bench. Sunlight shines on her through a break in the trees. Eclipse starts to sing and goes to her, surprising her at how good he sings. Looks his practice paid off.

Is there a vision

Eclipse and Y/N sing together.

Y/N takes Eclipse's hand and runs with him through the trees. They emerge onto the dock at sunset. He lifts and twirls her as they sing.

"Looking for a reason

She runs into his arms and he spins her. They press their hands together then lower them then split apart.

"Not a lot to lean on
I need Your light to help me find

Eclipse takes her hand and slowly spins her into his arms. She walks to meet his arm then turns to face him. A faint smile grows on her lips.

"See? I was right. You're perfect." he said, gazing into her eyes.

"Thanks, Eclipse. C'mon. Let's go back."

"Right."

Eclipse quickly holograms back to Sharad before they take their leave, not knowing someone was watching them from the far distance.
