Y/N was in the HQ with Kirby when she saw Fiona standing in front of the HQ. She raised her eyebrow in surprise that she finally showed up. Suddenly, Amy ran out of the HQ with her giant hammer raised up high.

"HOW COULD YOU?!"

"Whoa!" Fiona yelped in surprise.

Amy slammed her giant hammer in full force as Fiona managed to dodge it.

"We trusted you! Sonic and Y/N trusted you with their friendship!"

"Would you hold on for a second?! What's this all about?"

"Don't play dumb with me!" Amy scowled. "I was out looking for Sonic and found Tails instead. I asked if he knew where Sonic was, maybe if he was with Sally. That's when he told me about you. He told me what Sleuth Dog blackmailed you with. You've been dating Scourge behind our backs!"

Y/N's eyes widen in shock and betrayal while Kirby gasp loudly with big wide eyes and his mouth agape. Amy took another swing at Fiona as she ducked from it.

"It's not like I was really friends with you guys anyway. Except for Y/N."

"You admit it?!"

"Admit what? I didn't admit anything."

Amy took another swing and Fiona jumped up and landed on her hammer.

"Why can't you just tell the truth? Tell Y/N the truth!"

"'The truth' gets you hurt or worse, little girl. But even if you got all of Knothole to testify against me, Sonic and Y/N would never believe you."

Y/N sighed, hearing enough as she lean against the doorframe with Kirby on her shoulder.

"That's not saying much. I take everything Amy says with a shaker of salt."

Fiona and Amy stopped fighting as they were surprised to see Y/N and Kirby. Sonic was behind Y/N, but decided to let Y/N do the talk since she's close with Fiona. Amy ran over to her as Fiona got off of the hammer.

"Y/N! I need to tell you that... well, it was Tails who said, but he heard from Sleuth, and you heard from Scourge...!"

"Don't worry, Amy. Take a deep breath and calm down. I've been meaning to talk to Fiona, anyway. Thanks for looking out for me and my bro."

"S-Sure..." Amy nodded.

Y/N walked over to Fiona who stood there in silence while Kirby said nothing but stare at her.

"Let's take a walk in private."

"...Sure."

Y/N and Fiona begin to walk in the Great Forest.

"Are you going to interrogate me, too?"

"No... I just want to know. You've been disappearing a lot lately. Why didn't you tell me where you are and would have straight up help you? But after hearing you dating Scourge behind our backs, I'm very disappointed in you. Not only as a person but as a friend. I thought you're done with your past mistakes."

"I... I don't think I am. At least, you're cool with my past."

"Kirby told me you took me back to my treehouse. I still trust you, Fiona. Why are you doing this now? What's stopping you from doing something right?"

Fiona sighed, looking away.

"You wouldn't understand... Heck, you don't even know my feelings yet."

Y/N raised her eyebrow in confusion.

"What don't I understand? All I know is that you have helped us for much for us. I remember when you stop Bean and Bark on my brother's birthday, gave up everything you know about Rouge, and you always care for my well-being."

She took Fiona's hands, surprising her.

"Please, tell me. Let me help you."

Fiona's eyes changed for a sec that a hint of regret and redemption, but she looked away.

"Oh, Y/N, you are... very kind..."

Her voice changed which got her confused until someone whispered behind her ear.

"That's what makes Y/N so beautiful, babe."

Y/N flinched and turned to see Scourge.

"Scourge!" she growled.

"Hey, sweetie." Fiona waved.

"Hey, babe. You caught onto one thing, Y/N. It was me she fell for first."

Fiona walked around Y/N not before slithering her fluffy tail under her chin.

"In a different world, maybe we could have been friends, and so much more. But I'd rather be with Scourge who's much more better than Sonic than I see in him. Even if he's already dating Sally."

"I told her it was a waste of time. Any guy after me is gonna be bland."

Fiona walked over to Scourge and wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. Y/N's body shook in anger that she couldn't believe Fiona betrayed her like that and act like it's nothing. Kirby growl at Scourge and Fiona. Y/N brought out her katana and pointed at them.

"If that's how it's going to be, then I won't let you two get away with this."

Y/N was about to fight them when Scourge placed his finger on the blade and lower it down.

"We're not here to fight you."

She raised her eyebrow.

"We want you to join us." Fiona said with a smile.

"Me and Fi talked about it for a while and we decided to share you. There's always room for one more. That is if you accept this offer."

"Forget about your brother and your friends. Don't you want to do what you want on your own term? We could still be friends."

"Yeah. You and I can be king and queen to rule all the dimensions."

Y/N felt conflicted and confused and then turned angry.

"No way. I will never. You're crazy!"

"Crazy about you, babe."

This made himself and Fiona chuckle.

"C'mon, Y/N. You should really—"

"Stop!"

Tails fly down between Fiona and Scourge and Y/N and Kirby with Sonic who's glaring at Scourge.

"She said no! Leave her alone!"

Tails turned to Fiona.

"I knew you were a snake to take Y/N away from me, but I never knew you would stoop this low to be around Scourge! How could you?!"

Fiona knelt down to his level and put a hand on his cheek, surprising Tails.

"Oh, Tails... You're so smart, but you haven't learned one fundamental lesson in life. You don't stand a chance with Y/N."

With that, she backhanded Tails across the face, sending him flying. Scourge laughed at the sight while Sonic, Y/N, and Kirby gasped in worry.

"Tails!!"

"Pooteetah!"

Sonic ran towards him and Y/N was about to follow to check on Tails when Fiona grabbed her arm. She turned around with a glare.

"I believe we weren't done here, Y/N. I was thinking you'd come with us. We would love to have you as our team."

She pulled Y/N towards her.

"Ugh! Let go of me!"

"Hands off of my sis!"

Sonic ran towards Fiona when Scourge crash into him and run with him as they begin to brawl. Kirby growled and jumped onto Fiona's face and pulled her hair, causing her to yelp in pain and let go of Y/N. Fiona growled and grabbed Kirby off of her face and threw him towards the tree. Kirby grunted in pain, sliding down. Y/N gasped and glared at Fiona in anger when she saw Fiona's about to lend Scourge a hand to fight off Sonic. Y/N grabbed her shoulder and turned her as she got into her fighting stance.

"Fine. If you're going to be like this..." Fiona sighed before bringing out her fists.

They stand there waiting for their move until Fiona decide to go first and goes to attack Y/N. Y/N blocked every punches and managed to push her away. Fiona tried to kick her, but she moved back and kicked her instead after blocking her punch. Y/N jumped up in the air and cartwheel kicked her hard in the chest, making her fell to the ground. Fiona groaned in pain and slowly got up. Y/N walked over to her and grabbed her by the collar and threw her towards Scourge. Sonic noticed it and moved out of the way as the two crash into each other.

"Nice one, sis." Sonic smirked.

Y/N said nothing and stand over to Scourge and Fiona with a most deadliest glare they have ever seen her. Amy and Tails walk out of the bushes not too long along with Kirby who's in Tails' arms and he looks okay.

"Get out." Y/N demanded.

"I dunno about you, babe, but I've had my fun. Shall we?" Scourge offered, feeling a little scared of Y/N as he flipped the warp ring and enlarged it.

"Let's." Fiona nodded, rubbing her chest in pain a little.

"See you next time, Y/N~" he winked and went through the warp ring.

Fiona blew Y/N a kiss.

"So long, sweetie. It was fun while it lasted."

Fiona went through the warp ring and it disappeared after. Y/N just stare to where they had been gone.

"I'll show her fun. Good riddance. That bodysuit looked stupid, anyway." Amy scoffed.

"How are you holdin' up, bud?" Sonic asked.

"I... I feel awful. I'm really sorry, Sonic. Especially, you, Y/N."

"It's fine. What's done is done. Don't listen to what Fiona said." Y/N said, turning to Tails who still have Kirby in his arms.

"Fiona was wrong. I know I... well... you heard about my feelings for you.. and..."

"I know. You'll get your chance. I'm not ready yet."

Tails smiled at her, happy that she's considering his feelings and hopefully get his answers.

"And nobody's going to betray that kind of trust, especially not me and sis."

Y/N nodded in agreement and sighed.

"I... I need to go back home. My own home..."

"You sure? You know where you're going?" Sonic asked.

"I live in a treehouse myself."

"A treehouse?! That's not fair! Why didn't you tell me?"

"Well, a girl gotta have her secrets." she joked.

"Alright. I'll catch you later."

"Can I... walk you home?" Tails asked.

"Sure. You did help Kirby. So I'm willing to return the favor."

Y/N, Tails, and Kirby walk towards Y/N's treehouse in the forest, leaving Sonic and Amy as Antoine walked on the scene as he ask them what was going on.

"Thanks for walking me home, Tails. I appreciate it." Y/N said as Tails handed Kirby back to her.

"It's no problem. It's the least I can do."

She sighed sadly, looking down.

"You okay?"

"Pooteetah?"

"I can't believe I trusted her... And now she..."

Tails' ears lower down and looked away.

"I'm sorry about that."

"Don't be. I just thought I could make things right and she would change her mind."

"It's not that easy."

"I know."

Kirby frowned and came up to Y/N's face and hugged her there. She chuckled and grabbed him.

"Thanks for trying, Kirby. And thank you, Tails."

"For what?"

Y/N lean down to his level and gave him a kiss on the head. His face turned pink and his ears flare out smoke as he stood frozen.

"For being there for me."

She then walked inside her treehouse and closed the door, looking back at him with a smile. Tails slowly turn around and fly off to Knothole not before he suddenly fell to the tree with a blissful sigh and a goofy smile. He placed his hands on his cheeks, feeling so happy to get kissed by his crush again while his twin tails curl into a shape of a heart.
