There seemed to be no break at all this coming day. In fact, the day just started suddenly for the army instead of the typical "wake up, eat, and start training!" type of schedule. No, there were no schedules for them at all in actuality, but a single task. And that task was to fight.

It was a sudden invasion that very morning and thank the gods Jakob was already nearby when it happened. His first move was to defend himself and quickly get everyone up, before the situation got any worse.

"Lily, wake up! How are you still asleep in this situation??" UnlikelyKing called.

The archer, bleary eyed, looked up at the concerned dark mage confusedly. She wasn't in her usual blue kimono oddly enough, well determining the color of her pink clothes and its shape.

"What's up...?" LilyBlizz asked with a yawn.

"For starters.... We're being invaded! No time to change for you! I'll just snap magic on you and get you ready...! Other than that, wake up!!"

It took a little bit of time for the archer to register into her brain just what was going on as well as what her friend had just told her. When she got the message, LilyBlizz quickly started to panic.

"By the gods...! A war? Now? What do we do, King?!?!" she hollered.

The dark mage had an urge to give herself a slap in the forehead, but remained sane as she dragged a clingy LilyBlizz out the room quickly to the open, getting her clothes changed in a flash.

"We fight back of course! Everyone is out there in combat now!"

And as soon as the dark mage said that, a pegasus rider had flown by and grabbed the archer's collar, flying out to the fields to fend off the invaders.

"Hooooolyyyyy CRAAPPPPPPP!!! WARNING NEXT TIME, WOMAN!!" LilyBlizz screamed.

She was now a good distance off the ground, not having the ability to touch it nor does she want to at the very height she was at. UnlikelyKing was still on her feet running into battle while her friend stayed sky high for a while longer.

"Should've woke up sooner..." the blonde told her. "Again, a little late. Even during a war."

"I'm sorry, Astrid...!!" the girl sobbed, hanging onto her glasses and bow.

"You're paired up with Katie and I today! Well for now."

The archer had the feeling of her stomach dropping as she thought the sky knight was going to drop her at any moment within a tremendous height. Then again, she isn't THAT mean... Or was she?

"Drop off point! Kinshi knight enemy up a head with a bow and samurai back-up!" Astrid-chann called, suddenly having her pegasus, Gemini, drop to a dive. "I'll get the partner!"

Long gone had she let go of the archer's collar and let her drop to her demise.

"WHEN DID I BECOME A RAG DOLLLLLLLLLL?????" she screamed in terror, dropping backwards and trying to shoot the enemy flier.

Her arrow landed a hit, dropping the riders into the sky with no control before they launched a projectile as she shot another one.

"Look out!"

The kinshi knight shoved her partner out of the way, taking the hit instead, but Astrid quickly took advantage of the move and attacked the samurai that just got shoved.

"Oh dear..." UnlikelyKing commented as she cursed a mercenary.

She giggled mischievously as she turned her attention back to the enemy and drained her from their life force with Nosferatu.

"Aren't they just adorable?~" she commented with a bright-- possibly even considered as sadistic to the dying mercenary-- smile.

"Y-you're all crazy...!" she gasped before dropping.

"I got her! I got her!" The-Lobster-Queen called while she ran over.

The caramel and black furred fox was fortunately on her way pass the three girls stationed there in case for any beast attacks from the hunting grounds that may occur.

"EEEEEEK!! CATCH MEEEEEE!!!" the archer shrieked as she plummeted to possible death.

"Was that a good wake up call?" Astrid-chann asked while settling down to the ground by an ally, earning a nod from Tinted_Memories.

"I sure think it's effective.." she replied before slightly snickering. "At least it wasn't me."

The kitsune eventually caught LilyBlizz and got her back onto her shaky feet.

"Thanks... Skyla...." she murmured in a trance.

"Not a problem!" she replied before taking off.

Runing over to Tinted_Memories with some struggles, the archer frowned at Astrid-chann and groaned.

"Just because I have feathers around my head, doesn't mean I can fly...!" she pointed out.

"Hey, she's awake!" the tomboy commented with a laugh.

Tinted_Memories giggled as she suddenly swung her heavy sword over to her open side and landing a hit on an incoming paladin, shattering his armor into bits.

"Guh!!"

"Ohhhh, brutal...." EmblemEverest commented with a slight cringe.

The three looked over to see her approach with her Disrobing Gale tome in hand. She came in time to see the heavy weapon land and kill the enemy apparently. How unfortunate.

"I'll be taking care of stuff over here then.." LilyBlizz said after witnessing the kill.

It wasn't that she was uncomfortable but at the moment, the enemy looked... smashed. Tinted_Memories nodded and decided to follow as Atrid-chann and EmblemEverest remained nearby.

"So why are you here and not with Shade?" the blonde rider asked.

"Oh, Shade needed to get Iro out of battle. She was struck by an arrow from one of the enemy line archers." explained Emblem. "Should've got of some armor.. Even Silas got injured badly from it..."

Suddenly a high pitched shriek was heard from the female mercenary close to them. Looking over with complete caution, the two wondered what was going on. Tinted_Memories was busy giggling, but blushing madly at the same time.

"Oops. I forgot that happens with this weapon.." the archer said as she stared at the now naked running lancer before shooting another arrow to kill him.

"Gods, no! Oof!"

A sweatdrop formed on the back of their heads as they quickly snapped back to the battle at hand, killing off those who got near. UnlikelyKing was eventually joined by DWN024ShadowMan after she got IroshadowGL to safety.

The fight dragged on much longer than everyone expected as the somewhat invisible enemies continued to barge in. Supports continuously changed as they moved around and fought since the enemy lines kept switching up.

"Headshot! Double headshot! Triple headshot! Head- Oh, nevermind.. That one didn't count!" LilyBlizz exclaimed as she pointed at the sorcerer with an arrow pierced through her throat.

UnlikelyKing giggled as she sent a priestess flying elsewhere before she walked on over to her completely renewed friend.

"Enough headshots. Leo is over there waving you over," the dark mage told her. Do you have a second bow?"

The archer grinned as she switched out her Raider yumi with the giant Hunter's bow that was slung behind her.

"Ab-so-lute-ly po-si-tive-ly," she replied with a small smirk. "Ooh hoo hoo... How exciting..!~"

UnlikelyKing grinned as her Nosferatu was switched out with her Ginnungagap tome, a tome she rarely used due to its vulnerability after a first time use.

"Hey, hey! King, can you pull out my Swordcatcher?" Astrid-chann asked as her pegasus flew by over their heads.

The dark mage looked up and smiled as she stuck her hand into a rift she created only to grab the weapon requested for the girl.

"Fly low! I need a ride to Tomato Prince over there!" the archer suddenly called.

Smiling, Astrid-chann swooped down for her to hop on and left after getting her weapon she needed.

"How invigorating fights can be...! Harder enemies are coming! Time to bust out some new curses," UnlikelyKing giggled with full exuberance.

Emblem overheard the dark mage and decided to follow as she pulled out Ragnorok for a change of Disrobing Gale.

"I'm coming too!"

The duo mages were now wreaking havoc where ever they went as blasts of light came flashing all over the place in their area. Especially with UnlikelyKing's tome, color was a definite thing to note. Seizures may be another thing to note.

Tinted_Memories was back at convoy to get her Wyrmslayer and was about to enter war once again when she suddenly heard a large explosion and a few people screaming. She looked over and of course..

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! BURNNNN, BABY, BURNNNNN!!" EmblemEverest exclaimed.

"Have a nice trip to hell! Tell everyone we said hi," UnlikelyKing told them.

".... I'm going to just.... Moving along!" the girl told herself as she ran off.

On the otherhand, LilyBlizz was switched out with DWN024ShadowMan due to enemy beasts coming to get those riding on mounts. The-Lobster-Queen noticed and hissed when she got near.

"Calm down, it's not like I'll hit you with it," she giggled. "Anyways, back me up."

"S-sorry! Instincts!"Skyla told her as every mounted unit retreated from the area.

"Tag! You're it!" DWN024SHADOWMAN called before disappearing for a quick weapon change.

"And you're running!" the archer called to the enemies before firing a few.

"I'm with a bunch of crazy people..." Skyla murmured before diving in for an attack.

Eventually, DWN024SHADOWMAN came over to everyone with a quick message after a while longer.

"The enemies are retreating," Shade had told them.

"Then we'll keep driving them back!" Xander replied.

"Yes, siree!~

"Shade, please look for any hiding invaders!" Ryoma called. "Saizou, please lead the search."

"Okie-dokey!"

Nodding, the red haired ninja quickly left his side. EmblemEverest watched her go and continuously wondered how she never got tired from running around during the entire fight while combating a few enemies and dragging people to safety. And now she was follow Kaze to spot check the castle ground. The entirety of it-- she should be tired, right? IroshadowGL was finally recovered to where she could enter the battle again, but enraged, she decided to cut down the enemies she found on her way. She could be seriously injured this way.

"THIS IS. WHAT. YOU GET. FOR SNEAKING UP ON ME!" she claimed as she and her wyvern, Asukka mowed them down.

"Go, Iro..!" LilyBlizz called quietly, sitting on a rooftop and sniping down a few. "Man, I lost too much sleep... Maybe I can just... curl up right here and nap... Yeah.. Just maybe..."

"Lily! Look up!" Astrid called as she sped over.

A sky knight partnered with an archer decided to ride sky high and snipe people down for a change, but quickly ended when Gemini tackled them down. They were aiming for archers along the way and she just happened to be target.

"I GOT IT!" LilyBlizz called, shooting the archer, but missing the sky knight. "Oh crap. MOVE, ASTRID, MOVEEEE!"

The blonde sky knight in recovery quickly pulled back as the enemy stabled himself to attack and before she was struck down, UnlikelyKing had made it in time to cast her Ginnungagap, a gigantic colorful black pocket of energy suddenly sucking him in and exploding.

"Thank gods I didn't get caught up in that..." Astrid shuddered.

"You're welcome," the dark mage said with a grin.

Extra:

The fight was finally over but bodies littered the castle grounds. It was weird since invisible invaders usually disappeared right after. Were they just not the usual? The entire group sighed to themselves quietly as they now were cleaning up the place and piling it up near Lilith's temple, waiting for her to get the bodies out of the astral barrier. Well, except for a few.

"Are they playing around right now?" Takumi groaned as he hauled two more bodies over.

"T-that's a good question, B-Brother..." Sakura replied as she watched.

"Hah!"

"Incinerated."

"Ggghh.. HIYAH!"

"Incinerated."

"A game? I want to join too!" Odin claimed.

But before he ran off, Niles grabbed his cape and dragged him elsewhere.

"Not until work is finished in the name of Lord Leo's command."

"GRAHHH!"

"Ooooohhhh burnnnn!"

"Girls... Please clean up normally.." Leo commented as he came up to see LilyBlizz and Tinted_Memories throw dead bodies towards EmblemEverest and UnlikelyKing.

"Think of it as a work out, Leo. HAAH!" the archer grunted as she threw another body of a dead general.

"Incinerated," EmblemEverest said again.

"It's tiringgggg....." the mercenary complained.

"Tag in! Me! Meeeee!" Astrid called as she ran in to take her place. "HIYAAAH!"

"That's a bit too high..." UnlikelyKing told her as she aimed to shoot the body of a ballista down.

"Ahahaha..! My bad!" Astrid called.

Knowing how troubling both LilyBlizz and UnlikelyKing could be together, the dark knight quickly dragged the archer away from the group along with Astrid-chann.

"Whoa! Easy on the sleeves!" the archer said from being yanked. "I'm not as big as you, aight?"

"My neck...!" choked Astrid-chann as she loosened up the long white scarf.

"Lily... I need to see you in your room later. Alone."

The archer groaned, knowing she was in trouble again due to the strict tone of his voice.

"I swear Leo, but it was not my plan this time..!" she claimed.

"Actually, it was mine," Astrid-chann admitted sheepishly.

The dark knight frowned and looked at the two; one had a blank face while the other was just red from guilt.

"Astrid, we'll need a talk. Lily, you're still not getting out if it."

"What?!"
