Toomi: Strelizia, the Franxx piloted by Hiro and Zero Two,

Megumi: And Ultraman Nexus, the mysterious Ultra warrior of light,

Toomi: When the world is attacked by monsters, there are only certain forces that are powerful enough to stop them.

Megumi: And their constant evolution is what makes them stronger. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Hiro and Zero Two are Pistil and Stamen for Strelizia

Toomi: In a post apocalyptic world, the planet Earth is rampaged by hordes of monsters known as Klaxosaurs. For humanity to survive, the human scientist designed and build giant robots to combat them.

Megumi: Very Pacific Rim. I mean, it was there when Dr. Franxx created a robot known as...Franxx. Seriously, that guy actually named a Klaxosaur fighting unit after himself.

Sachi: Back to this, in order to operate a Franxx, you need two people, a Pistil and Stamen, basically a female and a male to bond. There is one powerful Franxx known as Strelizia that has a Pistil known as Zero Two. A Klaxosaur and human hybrid.

Megumi: Though many men have volunteered to be Zero Two's Stamens, many of them however did not survive due to how...wild Zero Two is. Man, I feel sorry for Mitsuru.

Toomi: However, one particular boy named Hiro successfully bonded with Zero Two and thus, allowing them to bond and fight against the Klaxosaurs.

Megumi: Though it was until their leader, Papa revealed himself to be a VIRM, an evil alien species that once invaded and almost destroyed Earth before the Klaxosaurs drove them away. So after Zero Two and Hiro gained control of the Agath Apus, transforming it into the True Apus where they sacrificed themselves to destroy the VIRM homeplanet once and for all.

Toomi: As a Franxx, the robot is programmed with super speed, flight and super strength, being designed to kill Klaxosaurs. It is armed with a giant lance which was used to impale Klaxosaurs.

Sachi: And when Zero Two and Hiro declared their love to each other, it causes Strelitzia to turn red,which increases it's strength and And if Hiro is uncoscious or not present, Strelitzia will be in it's stampede mode, where it resembles a lion. It basically have a very animalistic way of fighting, using it's fangs and claws to cut down Klaxosaurs.

Megumi: When Hiro and Zero Two entered the Strelitzia Apus and piloted it, it transformed into the True Apus. And wow, she looks really beautiful.

Toomi: I agree. As the True Apus, Strelitzia is powerful enough to obliterate VIRM ships just by ramming into them. It also has missiles which can destroy large numbers of VIRM ships and a single blast of energy that wiped out fleets singlehandely to the point where the explosion could be seen from Earth

Sachi: And it's also can travel really fast, being able fly from Earth to Mars within a few minutes, when Mars is actually 77.162 million km away from planet Earth. Depending on the time and speed of the launch, it can take up 150-300 days in reality to travel such a distance. Gai: And Strelitzia has also flew right through a 3 km long worm-like Klaxosaur within seconds and even took out several VIRM mechs before they could react. The very same kind that have tore apart the 9s Franxx.

Toomi: Not only that but Strelizia has the highest number of Klaxosaurs killed, having killed one the size of mountains and even wiped out a large horde when even a small weak one is too much for even a squad to handle.

Sachi: And even when weakened, Strelizia has taken multiple blows from a giant Klaxosaur without dying, which is impressive considering the kind of force it took to shatter a single Franxx

Even in Stampede mode, Sterlitzia has tore apart Klaxosaurs easily

Toomi: However, the weakness of Strelitzia is that in order for the machine to work to it's fullest potential, it needs both Zero Two and Hiro in order to utilize it. Though Zero Two can pilot Strelitzia on her own, it would stay in it's Stampede form until a suitable stamen rides with her.

Sachi: And her very wild methods of riding doesn't make things easily for many of her past stamens.

Megumi: And as the Apus, without Hiro inside, the Apus would not move which makes it vulnerable for attacks.

Sachi: And Hiro being a human makes him vulnerable to the VIRM attacks which temporarily caused True Apus to be immobile

Weakness

If Zero-Two is knocked out the mecha will not move, but if Hiro is knocked out or killed, the mecha will enter Stampede Mode which greatly downgrades the intelligence of Zero-Two

Many of Zero Two's previous Stamens were killed because of Zero Two's methods of riding

Without Hiro inside the mecha or conscious, Strelitzia will not move

Strelitzia was destroyed in order to destroy the VIRM homeplanet, killing both Hiro and Zero Two in the process

Toomi: But the saddest thing about their final battle is that both Hiro and Zero Two were forced to sacrifice their lives to destroy the VIRM planet which did help them win the war except that Papa and the Vice Chairman survived the explosion, swearing to return for revenge one day

Sachi: It's not really a good ending if the bad guy survives though if it makes you feel any better, Papa and the Vice Chairman were killed in the manga and Hiro and Zero Two survived, the true canonical ending.

Megumi: But look at the bright side, the humans lived a happy life and those two met again in another life. Now that is what I call a bitter sweet ending.

Zero Two: Now, say my name Darling!

Kazuki Komon transforms into Ultraman Nexus for a What if Battle

Toomi: In a world where space beasts attacks, a team known as Night Raid are there to combat and defeat the monsters. But everything changed upon the arrival of a being. A being known as Ultraman Nexus.

Megumi: But before he was Ultraman Nexus, he started off as a God-like being known as Ultraman Noa, an Ultraman who was theorized to be born from a Supernova and existed to protect the universe since the dawn of time. Even older than Ultraman King.

Sachi: Ultraman Noa was persuing his evil counterpart known as Dark Zagi, teaming up with the Ultra warriors from the M78 universe before defeating him, at the price of his true form.

Toomi: Noa then existed in a devolved form known as Ultraman the Next, possessing a pilot Shunichi Machi before combating the space beast known as Beast the One. However, after losing his powers to saving the pilot, he then went into a state of dormancy before evolving into Ultraman Nexus

Sachi: As an Ultraman, Nexus possesses incredible level of strength, capable of taking on monsters of various shapes and sizes. He can also fly, move very fast and throw energy attacks.

Megumi: Like Cross-Ray Schtrom, a energy beam that is used as a finishing move on Space Beasts, Particle Feather which is used to cut down monsters, Travel Sphere which allows him to travel vast distances in a short amount of time. But like many of the Heisei Ultras since Tiga, Ultraman Nexus can change forms as well.

Toomi: He has a red Junis form where his strength level increases, with an Over-Ray Schtrom which is a finishing move that completely vapourises his opponents, though it drains a mass amount of energy from him. He also has a Core Impulse which was used to kill monsters with just one hit.

Megumi: And he has a Junis Blue form where it focuses more on speed. It is also capable of using Junis abilities as well. But it also has it's own finishing move called the Arrow-Ray. It destroys foes in the same manner as the Over-Ray Schtrom, instead of breaking down the molecular bonds it obliterates the target's particles.

Toomi: But thanks to Kazuki Komon, Ultraman Nexus was able to evolve back into his true form, Ultraman Noa. With his true power, Ultraman Noa is capable of moving at immeasurable speeds, has a wing-like Aegis that allows him to travel across multiverses and pretty much having all his weaker forms powers but at a much higher scale.

Gai: He also has a set of armor known as the Ultimate Aegis which is also capable of traveling through dimensions and universes. But even though Noa has never actually used the weapon, we can determine the power from the time Ultraman Zero used it to destroy Arch Belial.

Sachi: Just to note, Arch Belial stands at the height of 300 foot tall, and he possesses a powerful beam from his mouth that is more than capable of destroying an entire planet. Especially since in the Ultraman Zero movie the Revenge of Belial, Ultraman Zero was not only aware that Belial was going to destroy it, but he was even pushing him and his Ultimate Force Zero back with the blast.

Megumi: And though Ultraman Zero was the the one who used it, considering how much weaker he actually was compared to Noa, we can determine that if one blast of that can destroy Arch Belial, theoretically, Ultraman Noa can do the same at a much higher scale.

Toomi: But even his weaker forms are far from weak, as Ultraman Nexus, he was able to take on a huge number of Space Beasts and even defeat the Dark Giants such as Dark Faust, Dark Mephisto and Dark Mephisto Zwei.

Sachi: He was also one of the Ultras who helped Ultraman Ginga Victory defeat Eltegar, defeating an Eteldummy of Dark Mephisto before granting some of his powers to both Ginga and Victory to give them the power to win.

Sachi: And being a being of light means darkness is his weakness as the Dark Meta Field created by Dark Faust and Dark Mephisto can weaken his power.

Toomi: And to note, ever injury Ultraman Nexus sustain will be transfered to his hosts as well, as shown after sustaining injuries from his fight with Golgolem, one of his hosts, Himeya ended up having an injured arm in the process which did affect him in his battle.

Megumi: And plus he was also among the many Ultras to turn into Spark Dolls during the Great Spark Wall

Sachi: Spark Dolls?

Megumi: That's another name for action figures. Man, talk about shameless advertising in a show just to sell toys to kids

If Ultraman Noa is weakened, he can devolve into his physically weaker Nexus form

The Meta Field puts Ultraman Nexus within a three minute time limit

Every injury Ultraman Nexus sustained will be transferred to his hosts

Sachi: And Ultraman Noa can be beaten by stronger opponents as his battle against Etelgar caused him to devolve into Ultraman Nexus

Megumi: But considering how his powers are great to the point he brought hope back to the people of Earth by defeating Dark Zagi, Ultraman Nexus is one Ultra warrior to remember.

Ultraman Nexus: The light is a bond, when someone inherits it, it shines anew

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Out in the dusky dawn, all seems to be peaceful.

However, right at that moment...

SKREEEEEEE!!!

A large blob-like Pedoleon screeches out as it falls backfirst into a pleateau.

CRASH!!!

Standing over the creature stood a large feminine looking robot known as Strelizia, raising up it's spear as Zero Two says to Hiro.

Zero Two: Darling. Let's finish this.

Hiro: Alright! Here goes.

However, before they could even move, right at that moment, something crashed on top of the Pedoleon, instantly killing it.

CRASH!!!

Strelizia halts in it's tracks as Hiro questioned out.

Hiro: Whoa. What is that?

Zero Two stares at the creature before her eyes widens in shock.

Zero Two: A  Klaxosaur?

Hiro then notices something from the side and he said to Zero Two.

Hiro: Zero Two.

Zero Two: Huh?

Strelizia turns, noticing a greyish giant staring down at them.

Not knowing what it is, Hiro asks Zero Two.

Hiro: What is that?

Zero Two: I don't know.

Hiro then activates his comn, contacting Nana back in the base.

Hiro: Nana, there's a giant right in front of us, what should we do?

Hiro and Zero Two listens as Nana instructs.

Nana: Kill it.

Hiro: What? Are you sure?

Nana: Do it.

Zero Two then shrugs as she exclaims out.

Zero Two: Well you heard her.

Hiro: Well, I guess we got no choice then.

WHOOSH!!!

Strelizia lunges outwards, shocking Ultraman Nexus as it raises up it's weapon, preparing to strike.

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Ultraman Nexus Op 1>

Just as Strelizia thrusts it's spear forward, Ultraman Nexus launches himself into the air, narrowingly dodging an attack from the Franxx.

Feeling threatened, Ultraman Nexus lands feet first onto the ground before raising up his hands, getting into a fighting stance.

As Strelizia faces him, Hiro warns Zero Two.

Hiro: Be careful, something tells me that thing is not like any Klaxosaur we have ever fought.

Zero Two: Well, this just keeps getting interesting doesn't it darling?

Strelizia then swings it's spear, only for Ultraman Nexus to stop it mid swing with his hand.

Ultraman Nexus: HAHHHH!!!

Ultraman Nexus then thrusts his foot outwards, striking into Strelizia.

WHAM!!!

Hiro and Zero Two: AAAHHHHHH!!!

Both Hiro and Zero Two screams out as the robot was sent flying backwards.

Ultraman Nexus then thrusts his hand out, launching a projectile straight at them.

THOOM!!!

Strelizia jumps up, narrowingly dodging the attack only for Ultraman Nexus to jump up and throw a punch, sending them crashing downwards.

WHAM!!! CRASH!!!

Ultraman Nexus skids across the floor before raising up his fists.

Strelizia pushes itself up as the robot's white armor immediately turns red, shocking Ultraman Nexus.

Without warning, Strelizia points it's lance at Ultraman Nexus, firing a powerful blast of energy right at him.

THOOM!!!

Ultraman Nexus jumps to the side, dodging the projectile only for Strelizia to launch itself forward, swinging its weapon right across the Ultra's face.

WHAM!!!

Realizing that his opponent is much stronger than he thought, Ultraman Nexus puts his arms in a cross fashion, his grey armor turns into a shade of red.

WHOOM!!!

Upon noticing Ultraman Nexus' change of colour, both Hiro and Zero Two widens their eyes in shock.

Zero Two: No way!

Hiro: What?!

Ultraman Nexus has transformed into his Junis form!

As Strelizia lands a few feet away from the Ultra, Ultraman Nexus Junis raises up his hand, firing a blast of light up into the air.

THOOM!!!

Right at that moment, the light exploded into a massive barrier of light, concealing both Strelizia and Ultraman Nexus within it.

Now within his own playing field, Ultraman Nexus lunges forward, preparing to attack.

Strelizia jumps back, narrowingly dodging a blow from Ultraman Nexus just as the Ultra puts his arms in an X manner, firing a blast of energy right at the Franxx.

THOOM!!!

Strelizia raises up it's arms,blocking the blast just as it struck right onto it, causing it to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Ultraman Nexus looks up, wary over his opponent.

Right at that moment, something burst out of the smoke, shocking Ultraman Nexus just as it struck right into him, sending him flying.

BAM!!!

Ultraman Nexus looks up, startled as he notices Strelizia except this time, the Franxx is now grey in color.

Inside, Zero Two smirks as she declares out to Hiro.

Zero Two: Now Darling! Let's show him what our love can do!

Hiro: Right, Zero Two!

WHOOSH!!!

Strelizia then swoops downwards, striking Ultraman Nexus repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Up in the air, Ultraman Nexus halts in midair as his body emits a bright flash of light.

WHOOM!!!

Almost immediately, Ultraman Nexus's red colour changes into a bright shade of blue, entering another transformation.

Ultraman Nexus is now in his Junis Blue form!

Ultraman Nexus Junis Blue points his hand outwards, firing an energy arc at Strelizia to which the Franxx dodges before flying straight towards him.

Ultraman Nexus takes off into the air, flying straight towards Strelizia as the two clashes through the sky.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Strelizia launches forward as the tip of it's lance pierces right into Ultraman Nexus.

SHOK!!!

Ultraman Nexus: HUARGHHH!!!

Delighted over the fatal attack, Zero Two cheers out.

Zero Two: We did it darling!

Hiro: Alright!

With Ultraman Nexus at the tip of the lance, Strelizia smashes through the Meta Field, sending both of them crashing onto the ground.

CRASH!!!

Ultraman Nexus quickly plants his feet onto Strelizia's torso before throwing the Franxx upwards.

Ultraman Nexus then gets up before firing a blast of energy right at it.

THOOM!!!

Zero Two and Hiro: WHOOOOOAAAAA!!!

Both Hiro and Zero Two screams out in unison as the two went tumbling down a tube.

Thinking he had won, Ultraman Nexus drops one knee onto the ground, collecting himself.

As he pants in exhaustion, Ultraman Nexus thought.

Ultraman Nexus: Just what was that?

Before he could think any further, all of a sudden, the ground beneath him began to rumble, shocking him.

Ultraman Nexus: What?!

Ultraman Nexus stumbles back and forth before something bursts out of the ground.

CRASH!!!

Ultraman Nexus jumps back, watching as something big towers over him.

A large machine looms over the Ultra warrior, dwarfing him completely in size as it suddenly undergo a transformation, this time, growing out a human like face with feminine features resembling that of Zero Two.

Strelizia has transformed into it's True Apus form!

Staring down onto Ultraman Nexus, Zero Two says to Hiro who is piloting the machine from the inside.

Zero Two: Alright darling, this time, he's going down.

Hiro: Right. Let's do this.

STrelizia own horn began emitting a powerful blast of energy as it blasts right down onto Ultraman Nexus, causing his entire body to go off in a massive explosion.

THOOM!!!

However, the impact alone not only struck down the Ultra but the entire planet itself began combusting in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Space

Drifting in space, Ultraman Nexus shakes his head, weakened by the attack.

Right at that moment, he heard a loud beeping sound coming from the color timer on his chest.

DOO!!! DOO!!! DOO!!!

However, he has no time to think about it as Strelizia True Apus looms over him, carrying a rather large Klaxosaur ship resembling a spear as it raises it up, preparing to finish off Ultraman Nexus once and for all.

Zero Two: HYAAAHHHHHHH!!!

But Ultraman Nexus still has one more ace up his sleeve.

Ultraman Nexus's entire body flashes a bright flash of light just as the weapon closes in onto him.

WHOOM!!!

And right at that moment..

THOOM!!!

Zero Two: Huh?

Strelizia True Apus widens it's eyes in shock, noticing something is wrong.

<Cue: Cheating on You by Charlie Puth, listen from 2:39 till the end>

As the light slowly fades, what was once Ultraman Nexus now stood a tall shiny Ultra covered in silver, with wing like Ultimate Aegis hanging on his back.

Ultraman Nexus has transformed into his true form, his true identity as Ultraman Noa!

Ultraman Noa thrusts his hand out, sending Strelizia True Apus flying back.

Gritting it's teeth, Strelizia True Apus raises up it's spear, preparing to attack Ultraman Noa.

Ultraman Noa clenches his fist, a bright flash of light emits from his hand as he throws one powerful punch, shattering the lance completely.

CRASH!!!

As Strelizia True Apus stares at the destruction of it's weapon in shock, Ultraman Noa charges up his Ultimate Aegis as he emits a bright flash of light, aiming it at the Franxx before launching it right at them.

THOOM!!!

As the projectile closes in onto them, Zero Two closes her eyes as she says to Hiro.

Zero Two: Darling. Looks like this is the end.

Hiro: Yes Zero Two. But...

Hiro smiles as he says.

Hiro: At least we'll be together.

Zero Two smiles as she says.

Zero Two: I love you darling.

Both Zero Two and Hiro smiles as they accepts their fate, with the Franxx going off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the explosion dies down, Ultraman Noa looks up, watching as a red and blue souls of Zero Two and Hiro began drifting off into space before looking away from them.

With Strelizia True Apus incinerated, Ultraman Noa turns around before flying off into space.

KO!

<Cue: Love,Again by CHIHIRO>

Megumi: My God...this is the saddest death I have ever seen.

Sachi: Look at the bright side Megumi, at least both Hiro and Zero Two will be together forever in the afterlife.

Megumi: Yeah.

Toomi: If you are done...Strelizia's speed and capability of taking down monsters certainly made this a tough challenge for Ultraman Nexus and with certain cases, might even be able to take the win.

Sachi: Except that Ultraman Nexus himself has also taken down monsters at the same level as a Klaxosaur, even besting evil Ultras more powerful than him and without back up.

Megumi: And with their transformations that involves red and blue enhancing their strength and speed, this makes this a fairly evenly match that is until Strelizia turns into it's True Apus form which possesses planetary level attack that completely dominates Ultraman Nexus completely.

Toomi: As shown when Strelizia True Apus fired a powerful blast that incinerated the entire VIRM fleet in the Earth's atmosphere to the point where everyone on Earth could see it, plus with it's height, Strelizia definitely held a massive advantage to the point it definitely outclass the Ultra completely...at least only in that form.

Sachi: The biggest game changer was Ultraman Nexus's true form as Ultraman Noa, an Ultra that possesses Godlike abilities that completely turned the tide of the battle.

Megumi: Due to his ability to travel through dimensions, Ultraman Noa definitely had the speed advantage, though Strelizia could do the same but needed a longer time to do so since it travelled for 80 days just to get to the VIRM home planet while Ultraman Noa chased after Dark Zagi through dimensions without rest.

Toomi: Not only that but even though the full extend of Ultraman Noa's Ultimate Aegis was not shown, we could determined his power through scaling him to Ultraman Zero's use of the Aegis in the movie Ultraman Zero the Revenge of Belial where Ultraman Zero destroyed Arch Belial.

Sachi: Now note that in this form, Arch Belial is powerful enough to destroy an entire planet as shown when he overpowered the Ultimate Force Zero and nearly succeeded in destroying the planet Esmeralda

Megumi: And it's even shocking when Arch Belial was measured to be 300 metres in size and though Ultraman Zero was much smaller than him, a single shot completely destroyed the monster completely, without even using it's fullest extend of power.

Toomi: And with that, we can conclude that although Strelizia has the speed to overcome Ultraman Nexus, it was Ultraman Noa's sheer power and skills that won out in the end.

Megumi: Franx-ly, this was one Ultra fight. But a prayer for Zero Two and Hiro to rest in their Nexus of love.

Sachi: The winner is Ultraman Nexus

The two are also consisting of a bond between a human and a non-human entity, with Ultraman Nexus, an Ultra being bonding with his human hosts and Strelizia being controlled by a bond between Zero Two, a human and Klaxosaur hybrid bonding with Hiro.
