RWBY vs JNPR, which two strong Amazonian warriors from rivaling teams will come out top?

Toomi: RWBY and JNPR, these two teams are often times rivals in terms of both schoolwork and strength in Beacon Academy

Megumi: And as a form of fan service, we will be pitting two of the teams best fighters to a test.

Toomi: Pyrrha Nikos, the Invincible Girl from RWBY

Megumi: And Yang, which I'm sure you all know the rest. She's Toomi-san, Sachi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Pyrrha Nikos javelins into What if Battles

Toomi: Pyrrha Nikos was a master combatant from childhood, to the point she was proclaimed Regional Champion of Mistral. Since then, she had been treated like a celebrity and a hero, but in spite of this, never got to live a normal life.

Megumi: I guess that's what you get for being a child celebrity. Yes, I'm talking to you Misha

Misha: I play Pokemon Go, everyday

I play Pokemon Go.

Megumi: God, just stop! Please.

Sachi: Pyrrha then traveled to Beacon Academy, where for the first time, met someone who didn't recognize her, and joining team JNPR, was finally treated like a dear friend and sister in arms.

Toomi: Upon joining Beacon, she had developed a close bond with team leader and partner, Jaune Arc and even offered to train with him privately.

Sachi: As the Vytal Festival came around, Pyrrha was on fire, aiding her team on the road to victory, but things got complicated when she was asked by Professor Ozpin to inherit the Fall Maiden's power

Toomi: Torn between her team and her conscience, she fought valiantly through the Fall of Beacon, only for her to die to the new Fall Maiden, Cinder Fall after a bitter duel to the death atop Beacon Tower, but not before saying goodbye to the man she truly cared for.

<Shows Cinder turning Pyrrha into dust>

Megumi: Awww, such a waste.

Toomi: Anyways, Pyrrha has been trained since childhood, giving her impressive combat skills over either her fists or javelin and shield.

Sachi: Her Javelin and Shield, Milo and Akoulo are two of her most trusted weapons. Milo can be thrown long distance with a boost from recoil and it can also switch into a semi-auto rifle.

Megumi: And you know when Captain America can throw his shield and it somehow comes back into his hand? Well, Pyrrha here can do just that.

Toomi: Not exactly, Pyrrha uses a Semblance based on polarity. With this, she has the ability to control magnetic objects. Mostly used to lift weapons in battle but with her full potential, she can control any metal around her, literally.

<Megumi began to sing a parody of the Captain America cartoon intro>

Megumi: When Pyrrha Nikos throws her mighty shield,

                   All those who chose to oppose her shield must yield,

                   Unless you're a Jaune, or an Ozpin, or a fan or a Fall Maiden Cinder Fall,

                   Then Akoulo has no one caused she has been killed!

Megumi: Not only that, but she even defeated the entire CRDL team all by herself, and even trained that loser Jaune Arc herself. Heh. Looks like there's hope for him after all.

Toomi: Pyrrha herself has also once used her Semblance to control dozens of soda cans during a food fight. And she even held her own against anyone who challenged her before Ruby took her down.

Sachi: Not only that but Pyrrha has also lifted a broken elevator to the top of Beacon Tower all the way up. Now, considering how an average elevator weighs about 1200g, adding up to weight which we can assume is 48kg, she has lifted an estimated of 49200 grams.

Megumi: Man, now I can see why she's called the Invincible Girl. No wonder why Ozpin wants her to inherit the Fall Maiden's power.

Toomi: But despite her name says, Pyrrha isn't really invincible. She can still be defeated by the likes of Ruby and was also killed by Cinder in battle.

Can let her emotions get the best of her (especially if it concerns Jaune), which can make it difficult for her to control her Semblance.

Sachi: And plus, Pyrrha often times thinks with her emotions, which can make it difficult for her to control her Semblance at times.

Megumi: But considering how she became a champ at a young age, all bad guys will yield when the invincible girl throws her mighty shield!

Pyrrha: I know this can be frustrating, and it can feel like so much effort to progress such a small amount, but...I want you to know that I'm proud of you, I've never met someone so determined to better themselves. You've grown so much since we started training. And I know this is just the beginning. Jaune...Jaune...I want you to know that I am happy to be part of your life. I'll always be there for you Jaune.

Yang returns into What if Battles

Megumi: Alright, let's get on with it. We won't bother to go on with her backstory considering how you guys have been seeing it for the past three chapters.

Sachi: So rather than doing that, we will only be talking about her current abilities and weapons instead.

Toomi: After losing her arm to Adam Taurus, you know, the guy that lost to Jack in one of our previous battles, Yang was living in her house idly, watching tv and doing chores emotionlessly. And when her metal arm comes in, she was less that enthusiastic about it.

Megumi: I mean come on, nobody would want a robot arm. I mean, maybe I would considering all the cool stuff you can do with it.

<Shows footages of Winter Soldier catching Captain America's shield>

Megumi: Like that one!

Toomi: Well, luckily for you, thanks to Taiyang's training, Yang eventually got stronger and better and she even grown to love it.

Megumi: Ha! I knew it!

Sachi: But soon, after some run in with several bandits, Yang easily defeats them before confronting her mother, who reveals to have Weiss caged in a...cage.

Megumi: Well, things did got pretty tense between mother and daughter although Yang ends up being reunited with Ruby

Ruby: I'm sorry, I should have stayed. I...I should have talked to you more...I wasn't sure you wanted me around and I...

<Yang then proceeds to hug Ruby, causing both Toomi and Sachi to hear the sound of sobbing>

Sachi: Are you okay Megumi?

Megumi: No...I...

<Megumi then turns, only to find Deadpool holding up a bowl of cutted onions>

Megumi: Hey!

Toomi: Anyway, Yang eventually reunites with the rest of her team, along with Nora and Jaune and Ren along with more family drama, fighting a laviathan and she killed Adam Taurus alongside Blake.

Sachi: Yang's cybernetic limb possesses great strength. Its power is shown in "Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back", where a single blow sent her father, a fully trained Huntsman, skidding back several feet. Even thought Tai blocked the attack. It is also outfitted with a shotgun similar to Ember Celica's. In "Rest and Resolutions", it shows the arm can detach from her bicep, and can even be fired like a projectile.

Megumi: And plus unlike before, she is now more adept to dodges and kicks, making her much stronger than her past.

Toomi: Her two golden bracelets aren't just stylish, they extend to form a weapon called the Ember Celica.

Sachi: With just a punch, the Ember Celica fires off a flash of kinetic energy, blasting a foe with an explosion of force and a beautiful sound.

Megumi: To top it off, the concussive blasts can fly several hundred feet! Yang is one of the few people I know who can punch a bird out of the sky. Dang!

Toomi: In addition, like most huntresses, Yang can manifest her soul as an Aura. Aura can be used to block deadly attacks and heal minor wounds, and Yang's is no different.

Megumi: But my favorite way she uses her Aura, is when she goes Super Saiyan.

Toomi: Many Hunters and Huntresses possess a Semblance: A special power unique to them that makes Beacon Academy look a little more like the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters.

Sachi: Yang's Semblance absorbs damage from hits she takes, adding them to her own physical power. After taking just two attacks from a Mech Suit she was strong enough to shatter the whole thing in one go.

Toomi: Unfortunately, her Semblance does not increase her Aura's defense so she feels the full force of everything that hits her Aura, and can only absorb power so long as she remains conscious.

Megumi: Luckily, she's pretty tough. Yang survived a punch that easily smashed her through a concrete pillar. You know, the ones designed to hold up entire bridges.

Toomi: And during a food fight, remember this is high school, Yang was knocked up into the air and did not come down for about 100 seconds - More than enough time to reach terminal velocity. This means upon landing, she took an impact of nearly 50 tons of force!

Megumi: And stood right back up like it was nothing! Ah, what a waste of good food.

Toomi: I know right?! Honestly, I would have been mad if I was the one who cooked all that.

Megumi: Not only that, but during her rematch against Adam, she defeats him despite his superior speed by adapting her combat technique and avoiding attacking him until he uses up the energy from his Semblance so that she can disarm him, showing her improved intelligence in combat.

Sachi: Despite this Yang can only take so much. Her Aura has a limit, as does her short temper. Pushing both of these too far leaves her extremely vulnerable.

Megumi: Like when this Ice-Cream lady knocked her out because Yang had been fighting monsters all day with no sleep. Honestly, it would have been different if she were fighting her with full strength.

Weakness

Still young and inexperienced

Her emotions and temper often lead her to enter dangerous situations without thinking or act irrationally. Yang is reckless and hot headed; charging into enemies if they harm her friends (or Yang's hair).

Currently suffers from PTSD from the loss of her arm

Not very skilled fighting against opponents whose fighting style revolves around kicks as well as opponents who are adept at dodging attacks

Low pain tolerance, despite taking damage / Hits.

Was unconscious after her arm got cut off by Adam

Yang: Nailed it!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

It was a casual day in Beacon Academy.

Students walk along the school courtyard, happily chatting amongst themselves just as the long waited summer holidays has finally arrived.

Pushing past the crowd, Yang Xiao Long, the Huntress of RWBY runs up towards the school gate, stretching her arms out in fatigue as she remarks out.

Yang: Ah, finally! I'm free at last! Now to go home and check out my favourite show!

Just as Yang is about to dash out of the school, all of a sudden, a familiar voice calls out to her.

???: Hey you!

Yang halts right in her tracks, turning her head back.

The Huntress looks up, finding a tall auburn girl cladded in an Amazonian outfit staring at her.

Yang: Uh...hey Pyrrha...eh...how's it goin?

Pyrrha: How's it going? You just failed midterm and you still want to watch television?

Yang shrugs at the Invincible Girl, stating.

Yang: Hey, a girl's gotta rest.

Pyrrha folds her arm, shaking her head at her.

Pyrrha: Well too bad, you've got remedial lessons to attend to. So I suggest you get your ass back in here or else I will have to make you.

Pyrrha holds up Milo and Akoulo, crouching down into an aggressive fighting stance.

Clik! Clik!

Yang swung her hands back, loading in Ember Celia before holding them up, saying defiantly.

Yang: Sorry girl, but you're gonna have to make me!

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Stupid Shit by Girlicious>

Yang thrusts her Gaunlets upwards, opening fire at the Invincible Girl.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Pyrrha sprints forward, raising Akoulo up just as the projectiles closes in onto her.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Pyrrha lunges up in the air, throwing a kick only for Yang to swing her head back, dodging the blow.

Yang raises up her arms, shielding herself just as Pyrrha swings Milo across while still in the air.

CLANG!! CLANG!!!

Yang ducks under before thrusting her arms out, opening fire at Pyrrha.

BANG!!!

Pyrrha: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Thud!

Pyrrha looks up, narrowing her eyes before running up towards Yang.

Yang grits her teeth, dashing forward before throwing a punch right at Pyrrha.

The Invincible Girl leaps up into the air, diving down before swinging Milo downwards.

BAM!!!

Yang: AHHHH!!!

Just as Yang staggers backwards, Pyrrha throws her shield upwards, slamming it square into Yang's chest.

CLANK!!!

Yang: ARGHHHHH!!!

Pyrrha's mouth twists into a smirk just as she races forward.

Pyrrha: Ready to give up yet?

Yang: No.

Yang thrusts her leg out, striking Pyrrha square in her chest.

WHAM!!!

Pyrrha: ARGHHHHH!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Pyrrha grits her teeth, wincing just as Yang throws multiple punches at her.

Yang swings her body back, slamming her elbow square into Pyrrha's jaw.

BAM!!!

Yang then points both Ember Celia at Pyrrha, opening fire at her.

BANG!!!

Pyrrha: ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

Pyrrha screams out in agony just as she was sent flying backwards, landing on the ground with a loud thump.

THUMP!!!

FWOOSH!!!

A fiery burst of flame engulfs Yang completely just as she races forward, throwing one downward punch onto Pyrrha.

However, right at that moment, Pyrrha rolls across the floor, narrowingly dodging the blow from Yang.

BAM!!!

Pyrrha: Yah!

Pyrrha thrusts both her legs out, striking Yang hard in the chest.

WHAM!!!

Yang: ARGHHHH!!!

Clank! Clak!

Pyrrha throws Milo up, switching the Javelin into a rifle before aiming it at Yang, opening fire at her.

BANG!!! BANG!! BANG!!!

Yang raises up her metal arm, shielding herself from the bullets just as they bounce off the metal plating.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Yang points her metal arm at Pyrrha, opening fire at her.

BANG!!!

Pyrrha widens her eyes in shock, watching just as the metal arm closes in onto her.

The Invincible girl raises up her hand, instantly stopping the metallic hand right on it's track.

WHOOM!!!

Yang: Huh?!

Yang widens her eyes in horror, a sudden realization dawns onto her.

Yang: Crap! Forgottent that she could do that.

Pyrrha waves her hand across, sending the metal arm flying around Yang, striking at her repeatly.

WHAP!!! WHAP!!! WHAP!!!

Yang: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Yang screams out in agony just as she backs away, gritting her teeth just as she shields herself with her one good arm.

WHAP!!! WHAP!!! WHAP!!!

Just as the metal arm continues to hit Yang even more, Pyrrha shouts at her.

Pyrrha: Yield!

However, right at that moment...

FWOOSH!!!

A powerful fiery aura completely envelops around Yang, causing Pyrrha's jaws to drop in horror.

Pyrrha: What?!

Now completely empowered by her Semblance, Yang reaches out, grabbing back her prosthetic arm before reattaching it back into her hand.

Clak!

Yang then closes in onto Pyrrha, throwing a punch right into her cheek.

WHAM!!

Pyrrha: UGHHHH!!!

Pyrrha raises both her javelin and shield up, shielding herself just as Yang strikes at her relentlessly, forcing her backwards.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Pyrrha swings her Javelin across, slapping it at Yang's cheek.

WHAM!!!

Yang: Ngn!

Pyrrha throws her shield across, striking it right at the Amazon of RWBY.

CLANG!!!

Pyrrha then jumps up into the air, thrusting out her leg twice at her.

WHAM!!! WHAM!!!

The Invincible Girl then spins around, slamming her shield on top of Yang's head.

CLANK!!!

Yang: ARGHHHH!!!

Pyrrha then shoves her Javelin forward, slamming it right into Yang's stomach.

SHOK!!!

Yang: ARGHHHHH!!!!

 Pyrrha then spreads her arms across, narrowing her eyes just as her polarity began taking effect.

WHOOM!!!

Yang: ARGHHHHHH!!!

CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

A loud agonizing scream escapes from Yang's mouth just as her metallic arm and Ember Celia exploded into a burst of metallic shards, piercing right into her skin.

SHOK!!! SHOK!!!

Pyrrha then swings her arm out, causing Milo to slide upwards.

SLASH!!!

Yang's body immediatelu splits into two, blood splurting from the opening just as the Javelin flies back into Pyrrha's hand.

Tok!

Pyrrha then turns around, quietly swiping the blood of the weapon with a cloth before turning back, saying.

Pyrrha: You should have listened to me Yang.

KO!

<Cue: New Earth by Bruce Falconer>

Megumi: Man...one lost after another. Yang's never really getting a break isn't she?

Toomi: In terms of strength and combat skills, both Yang and Pyrrha are evenly matched in every category but Pyrrha's Semblance and speed alone gave her the edge she needs.

Sachi: Yeah, while Yang is capable of holding her own against fast characters like Mercury and Adam, Pyrrha herself has defeated people of that level, moving a lot faster than many of the standard RWBY characters, especially the entire team of CDRL, who are among the top fighters of the school.

Toomi: And although it's no lie that Yang has certainly improved a lot since the previous seasons, that doesn't necessarily mean that she can truly beat anybody. While Yang can finally beat Adam and take down Vernal in combat, that doesn't necessarily mean that she can beat Cinder who Pyrrha has managed to at least hold her own against for a while before her inevitable demise.

Megumi: And let's not forget her weapons. Honestly, having a shield already trumps having a Gaunlet that fires bullets like a shotgun, especially if she her Semblance can be used to control and maneuvre her weapons skillfully against Yang.

Toomi: And speaking of Semblance, this is where Pyrrha truly earned this victory. With her polarity, Pyrrha is able to not only gain control over Yang's weapons but can also use it against her. Honestly speaking, having metal prosthetics against a fighter with magnetic powers is really a bad idea.

Megumi: I mean, Wolverine can vouch for that from his fight against Magneto. Welp, looks like the Invincible Girl beats Yang in the form of polarity

Sachi: The winner is Pyrrha Nikos
