Kotal Kahn vs Ganondorf

Requested by Darkness_X_Madness

Mortal Kombat vs Legend of Zelda. These two powerful rulers who control massive armies and possesses Godly powers go up in a battle of Gods.

<Cue: Invader Theme>

Toomi: Kings and Gods. Sometimes, it's a really great mix.

Sachi: Especially if you possesses great power.

Toomi: Such as Kotal Kahn, the War God Emperor of Outworld.

Megumi: And Ganondorf, the Demon King. She's Toomi-san, Sachi-san and I'm Megumi-san.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Kotal Kahn shines into What if Battles

<Cue: Warrior by Disturbed>

Toomi: In the land of Outworld, there was once a powerful and evil ruler named Shao Kahn who wanted to gain control of all the realms.

Megumi: But luckily for the humans, Earthrealm, which is basically our realm, sent some of their best warriors like Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Liu Kang to participate in their Mortal Kombat tournament. And they won.

Sachi: Unwilling to accept defeat, Shao Kahn lead his army into Earthrealm despite gaining no victory from the Mortal Kombat, resulting in the Elder Gods punishing him, sentencing him to death.

Megumi: Needless to say, all of that was part of a plan for Shinnok's rise and with the help from his minion D'Vorah, Ko'atal was able to overthrow Mileena, thus becoming the new Emperor of Outworld.

Toomi: Which thus grants him the name, Kotal Kahn.

<As the dethroned Mileena is dragged away by Reptile, Ermac turns to face Ko'atal.>

Ermac: We will serve the new ruler of Outworld.

D'Vorah: Then you serve....Kotal Kahn.

<Both D'Vorah and Ermac bows to the newly crowned Emperor Kotal Kahn, swearing allegience to him>

Megumi: And that of course led to a Civil War in Outworld with Edanians trying to overthrow Kotal Kahn. And luckily for him, he's strong enough to protect himself.

Toomi: Being an Osh-Tekk, Kotal Kahn is incredibly powerful, possessing super-human strength allowing him to smash grown men's heads into bits of bone and gore with ease while allowing him to wield his massive Macuahuitl with a single hand.

Sachi: And his Osh-Tekk heritage enables him to utilize power from the sun, giving him Godly strength to match the likes of Rain, who is a son to the Edanian God, Argus.

Megumi: Gaining power from the sun, are you sure that guy isn't Escanor Sachi-san?

Sachi: Who knows Megumi-san. Who knows.

Toomi: Anyway, Kotal Kahn is also a formidable magic user, Able to utilize Blood Magic to further enhance his own strength and has shown capabilities of teleporting and even immobilizing his opponents.

Kotal Kahn

Super human Strength

Peak Human Endurance

Magic

Blood offering

Sun Stone

God Ray

Air Takedown

Mace Parry

Megumi: And let's not forget Kotal Kahn's signature X-Ray move.

< Kotal calls down a beam of sunlight to strike his opponent and leave them stunned before charging them with his burning knife, stabbing them through the throat and bringing them to their knees. He then twists the knife by both ends to snap their neck, and delivers the coup de grace with a knee to their nose, breaking it.>

Sachi: And due to the violent nature of the characters in Mortal Kombat, Kotal Kahn himself is also capable of performing Fatalities.

<Drawing his knife, Kotal Kahn carves open his opponent's chest before jamming his hand through their rib cage, rips out his enemy's heart and holds it high over his head as they collapse, and crushes it, pouring the blood all over his face and into his mouth.>

Kotal Kahn: YAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Megumi: Ewwww. Is that even sanitary?

Toomi: Like I said. Blood Magic. With the power gained from it, Kotal Kahn was able to defeat Goro, cutting off all four of the Shokan's arms.

Feats

Defeated Goro, Kano, Tanya, Rain and Mileena

Survive Earthrealm's deserts and snowy mountains

Cut off all of Goro's arms

Temporarily deflected and survived a continuous blast from the Amulet of Shinnok

Broke two metal chains

Can deliver 500+ pounds with his bare hands, used this to break the neck of and crush King Gorbak's head, which is(source will be added)

Powered out of Rain's bubble with ease.

Sachi: And before Shinnok was released he was the second most powerful fighter in the realms second only to Raiden

Toomi: Kotal Kahn has also temporarily deflected and survived a continuous blast from the Amulet of Shinnok, which powers are so great that it severely injure Mileena upon usage.

Sachi: However, even Kotal Kahn has weaknesses.

Megumi: Yeah. You see, despite his title, Kotal Kahn is actually nowhere near as powerful as Shao Kahn is. But you can't blame him. He's kinda neutral compared to him.

Weakness

Lost to Kung Jin and Jacqui Briggs

Without the sun, Kotal Kahn's power greatly weakens.

Toomi: Not to mention, Kotal Kahn has lost against the likes of Kung Jin and Jacqui in a one on one fight, but only because there was no sun to power him up.

Sachi: And not only that but despite gaining monachship over Outworld, Kotal Kahn isn't really it's true ruler.

Megumi: But regardless of that, Kotal Kahn will do whatever it takes to ensure his rule over Outworld remains, even if it cost him his life.

Kotal Kahn: I offer Outworld's friendship

Shinnok: I will take your realm when it suits me!

Kotal Kahn: You spit at me no longer!

Ganon forces into What if Battles

<Cue: Undefeatable by Skillet>

Toomi: The peaceful kingdom of Hyrule is full of hidden terrors. Giant Spiders, a dragon who eats rock people...

Megumi: And that red headed fairy with boobs that'll poke your eyes out and a laugh that can melt any erection.

Sachi: But the most dangerous fiend of all is the Demon King, Ganon.

Ganon: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Megumi: However, before he became a giant blue pig demon, Ganon was actually just a man named Ganondorf.

Toomi: Ganondorf was raised in the Gerudo Desert, as a student of magic under the tutelage of the Twinrova witches.

Megumi: But while the Gerudo have got some pretty kickass music, growing up in the desert obviously wasn't the best. Because...you know...sand. I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and gets every-

Sachi: DON'T YOU  DARE! Fortunately for Ganondorf and our viewers, his destiny would take him beyond the sand.

Toomi: See, turns out, he's the  of the demon, Demise who happens to be the root of all evil. Because what else would you grow up to be with a name like that?

Sachi: Upon his defeat, Demise cursed the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero to be forever plagued by a physical embodiment of his rage.

Megumi: Wow, that's a new low even in villain standards. Talk about a sore loser. But for Ganondorf, being the lord of demons reborn has its upsides, like being really good at magic.

Ganondorf

Electric balls of light

Can summon "spirit riders" to attack opponents

Teleporation

Possession

Flight

Dual swords

Dark Trident

Toomi: Among the numerous spells he knows, he can summon phantoms to fight alongside him, freeze enemies with waves of darkness, cast deadly curses, teleport, fly, and create orbs of electric energy which can stop foes in their tracks.

Megumi: And they double as a deadly game of Pong. Also, he's a master swordsman, capable of wielding two blades at once with extreme efficiency. But being the king of all evil, with awesome skills wasn't enough.

Sachi: Ganondorf grew jealous of Hyrule's prosperity, and, like any good reincarnation of pure evil, wanted to take it for himself, including the Triforce, a legendary relic said to grant the wish of any who may touch it.

Megumi: But when it was finally within his grasp, two of its pieces rejected him harder than the time Toomi-san did to me.

Toomi: Hey. You can't blame me. I can't just let some ghosts take possession of me just to make love. And besides, you and Sachi already did it anyway.

Megumi: Ah. True. However, the one that stuck around, the Triforce of Power, was kinda the best, it gave him near invulnerability, incredible strength, and unlimited mystical power. It's only downside, or upside, depending on how you see it, is that it turned him into a giant demon pig.

Sachi: With this form came immense power, and a new name: Ganon.

<Link watches in horror just as Ganondorf's body began growing larger, expanding and becoming more piglike.>

Megumi: Could have thought of a better name than that.

Ganon

Trident

Warlock Blade

Sword of Despair

Power Mimicry

Sachi: A monstrous form Ganondorf assumes through the Triforce's power, Ganon is a hulking beast who can defeat boss monsters with ease. But his large size makes him an easy target. He can also assume an feral Twilli version of his Ganon form that can use portals while charging at an opponent.

Toomi: Ganon is fast enough to dodge arrows point blank without even looking, he's strong enough to destroy stone walls and pillars with no effort, and he's tough enough to get back up after having an entire castle fall on him.

Feats

Can break stone walls effortlessly

Can dodge arrows point-blank

Survived impalement by the Sword of Sages

Survived getting stabbed in the face

Possessed a soulless Zelda

Cursed the Deku Tree to death

Defeated the Hero of Time in the Downfall Timeline

Sachi: Not only that, but Ganon himself has survived getting stabbed multiple times and even possessed a soulless Zelda

Megumi: Not only that, but Ganon is literally incapable of dying from normal means of harm. But there's one thing I don't get Toomi-san.

Toomi: What is it?

Megumi: You see, if Ganon is really invulnerable to most means of harm, how come he can still die?

Weakness

Repeatedly slayed by various Links.

Abilities and mortality are inconsistent (once could be killed by a shield/smashing board) [1]

His monstrous Ganon transformations typically have obvious vulnerable points.

Extremely Arrogant, will often pass opportunities to kill challengers he sees as non-threatening.

Easily distracted by fishing rods.

His own attacks can stun him if redirected back at him.

If he takes a hit by a powerful blow (such as being impaled by the Master Sword or otherwise), the Triforce of Power will fade away from Ganondorf's left hand, stripping away the benefits that it would otherwise provide to him.

Ends up being sealed away in the Imprisoning Wars (Fallen Hero Timeline).

Was once exiled to the Animal Crossing town

Toomi: But while the Triforce of Power supposedly grants him immortality, Ganon can still be slain, and is specifically vulnerable to holy weapons, like the Master Sword, though he has survived being impaled by one, and then killed his executioner with his bare hands.

Sachi: He's also extremely arrogant, often underestimating his smaller, weaker opponents, at least until they drive a sword through his head.

Megumi: But hey, when your a titanic, nigh-invulnerable pig sorcerer, you can afford to be a bit cocky.

Ganon: Obviously... If I want the Triforce of Wisdom, I'm gona have to get it myself!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Fight

Outworld, castle

In the deep castle of the newly crowned Kotal Kahn, the Osh' Tekk Emperor sat on his throne, brooding to himself.

Just then, Reptile, Ermac, Ferra Torr and Erron Black steps into the Throne Room, reporting to their leader.

Erron: Emperor, we found something that might peak your interest.

Kotal Kahn: Oh? And what might that be?

SHOOM!!!

As if on cue, Ermac opens his palm, using his soul magic to levitate the TriForce towards Kotal Kahn.

Ermac: This treasure that we found at the outskirts of Outworld.

Kotal Kahn stares at the artifact within his palm, chuckling gleefully to himself.

Kotal Kahn: At last! The treasure is mine!

However, right at that moment, the artifact began glowing brightly, startling the people in the throne room.

FLASH!!!

Shocked, Kotal Kahn stares at the TriForce in horror, questioning out to himself.

Kotal Kahn: What is this?!

FLASH!!!

The TriForce engulfs itself completely in a flash of light before dispersing, revealing a tall humanoid figure.

Kotal Kahn pushes himself up, questioning the figure.

Kotal Kahn: Who are you?!

The figure looks up at Kotal Kahn, chuckling out maliciously.

???: Heh heh heh! I am Ganondorf, the Emperor of the Dark Realm! And you.....

Ganondorf points an accusing finger at Kotal Kahn and he growls.

Ganondorf: Shall perish for bringing me into this wretched realm!

Angered, Reptile, Ferra Torr, Erron Black and Ermac closes in onto Ganondorf, with Reptile growling maliciously at him.

Reptile: Watch your tongue! Or else we shall have it!

Ferra: Ferra Torr bash man!

Ferra shrieks out from Torr's back.

However, Ganondorf opens his palm, a sphere of magic forming within his palms.

SHHOOM!!!

Ganondorf: Die!

WHOOSH!!!

The blast of magic struck right into the four, creating a massive explosion in the throne room.

KABOOM!!!

Kotal Kahn stood up, glaring at Ganondorf just as the wizard said.

Ganondorf: And for your insolence! You must die!

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: The Feeling by Leroy Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez>

Kotal Kahn grabs onto a dagger, throwing it across the air.

Ganondorf simply swings his hand across, batting the dagger with a single hit.

Pak!

WHOOSH!!!

Before Kotal Kahn could react, Ganondorf closes in onto the Emperor, striking at him repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Just as Ganondorf is about to throw another punch, Kotal Kahn thrusts out his body, emitting out a bright shine of light.

FLASH!!!

Ganondorf: Ngn!

Kotal Kahn throws up his fist, striking Ganondorf under the chin.

WHAM!!!

Ganondorf: WAHHHHHHHH!!!

Ganondorf screams out as he was sent crashing through the roof of the castle.

CRASH!!!

As the wizard disappears from sight, Kotal Kahn laughs out to himself in triumph.

Kotal Kahn: Ha ha ha ha ha! Too easy!

However....

FLASH!!!

WHOOM!!!

Behind Kotal Kahn, Ganondorf began flying up from behind, dark aura enveloping around him.

Before Kotal Kahn could even react, he felt a sharp blow strike him from the back, sending him crashing onto a pillar.

WHAM!!!

CRASH!!!

As Kotal Kahn pushes himself up, he raises up his arms, narrowingly blocking a strait punch from Ganondorf.

WHAM!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Both Kotal Kahn and Ganondorf moves across the throne room, exchanging blows against each other.

Right at that moment, Kotal Kahn wraps his arms around Ganondorf in a tight embrace, clenching his arms around the wizard's body.

CRACK!!!

Ganondorf: ARGHHHHH!!!

As Ganondorf screams out in agony, Kotal Kahn throws him up into the air, throwing one powerful punch right into his face.

WHAM!!!

Ganondorf clenches his teeth as he was sent crashing through the castle wall.

CRASH!!!

Kotal Kahn sprints towards the opening of the castle, jumping out into the open.

Outside

Ganondorf pushes himself up, facing Kotal Kahn just as the Emperor lands across from him.

Thud!

Kotal Kahn pulls out a dagger, sliding the blade across his chest.

Slit!

As blood drips from his wound, Kotal Kahn's skin tattoos began glowing brightly as he speaks.

FLASH!!!

Kotal Kahn: Give up. There's nowhere you can run.

Ganondorf: Oh I'm not gonna run. Especially if you are going to die here!

Kotal Kahn throws a dagger across, only for Ganondorf to thrust out his hand, sending a barrage of magic spheres flying towards him.

PIU!!! PIU!!! PIU!!!

KABOOM!!!

One of the magic spheres struck onto the dagger, instantly causing it to explode.

Kotal Kahn raises up his arms, shielding himself just as the magic blasts explodes around him.

KABOOM!!!

ZSST!!!

Ganondorf immediately disappears from sight.

Just as Kotal Kahn drops his hands, right at that moment....

WHAM!!!

Kotal Kahn: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Kotal Kahn screams out as he felt a sharp blow in his cheek.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Kotal Kahn grits his teeth as he felt several sharp blows striking him across his body.

Ganondorf smirks as he pulls back his hand, causing his fist to shine out brightly.

SHING!!!

Ganondorf then throws one powerful punch, striking Kotal Kahn right in the face.

WHAM!!!

Kotal Kahn: ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

Kotal Kahn screams out in agony as he was sent tumbling back from the blow.

Ganondorf sneers maliciously at Kotal Kahn, flying up towards him.

As Kotal Kahn pushes himself up, Ganondorf picks up a sword, closing in right onto him.

Ganondorf: Any last words weakling?

Ganondorf questions, raising up the blade.

Without waiting for Kotal Kahn to mutter any words, Ganondorf swings the blade down on top of him.

CLANG!!!

Ganondorf: What?!

Ganondorf widens his eyes in sheer horror, looking down at the bright and glowing Kotal Kahn.

SHING!!!

Kotal Kahn looks up, thrusting his head up into Ganondorf's chin.

BAM!!!

Ganondorf: Ngn!

As Ganondorf staggers backwards, Kotal Kahn screams out loudly.

Kotal Kahn: HAAHHHHHH!!!!

FLASH!!!

A bright flash of sunlight shines down on top of Ganondorf.

Ganondorf: AAHHHHHHH!!!

As Ganondorf staggers back, stunned from the attack, Ganondorf sprints forward, shoving his dagger right into his neck.

SHOK!!!

Ganondorf: ARGHHHHHH!!!!

Kotal Kahn then grabs onto the blade, twisting his weapon across, snapping Ganondorf's neck in the process.

CRACK!!!

Kotal Kahn thrusts his knee upwards, slamming it square into Ganondorf's face.

CRACK!!!

Ganondorf: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Ganondorf screams out in agony as he falls back, severely wounded from the attack.

Kotal Kahn disappears in a puff of smoke.

Poof!

The Emperor reappears right above Ganondorf, staring down at him, saying.

Kotal Kahn: You shall bow behind your Emperor.

SHING!!!

The Emperor pulls out a dagger throwing it down onto Ganondorf.

However, right at that moment....

FLASH!!!

Kotal Kahn: What?!

Kotal Kahn staggers back, briefly blinded by the bright light.

Within seconds, Ganondorf stood up, but this time, he looks different.

Unlike before, Ganondorf now resembles a giant demonic Boar, his razor sharp fangs glistering under the sun.

Ganondorf has transformed into Ganon!

Ganon: RRROOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!

Kotal Kahn: No! It can't end this way!

Kotal Kahn sprints forward, shoving his dagger right at him.

However, Ganon simply swings his hand across, slamming it right into Kotal Kahn.

WHAM!!!

Kotal Kahn: AAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Just as Kotal Kahn is sent flying, Ganon lifts up his hand, a razor sharp trident forming within his hand.

WHOOM!!!

Ganon throws the trident across, sending it striking right into Kotal Kahn's chest.

SHOK!!!

Kotal Kahn: ARGHHHHHH!!!!

Just as Kotal Kahn falls backwards, just then, he felt something touching him on the back.

Thud!

WHOOM!!!

Kotal Kahn felt a strong burst of magic surging from his back, emitting a scorching sensation from behind.

HHHHSSSSS!!!!

Kotal Kahn: AAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Kotal Kahn lets out one last scream before his body went off in a massive bloody explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Splat! Splat!

Blood and gore splatters onto the floor just as Ganon stood on his hind legs, letting out a loud malicious laughter.

Ganon: Neh heh heh heh heh heh!

KO!

<Cue: New Earth by Bruce Falconer>

<Megumi begans imitating the Mortal Kombat announcer>

Megumi: Ganon wins! Fatality!

Toomi: Kotal Kahn may have the durability advantage but Ganon's strength, skills and intellect won out in the end.

Sachi: Yeah. You see, Kotal Kahn may have survive having his bones broken from many of the roster characters, but Ganon has his fair share of durability. One such example is from the time he survived getting stabbed by the Sword of Sages which possesses magic far beyond what most weapons his opponents carries.

Megumi: Yeah and besides, Ganon has defeated Link multiple times, and truth to be told, Link is kinda beyond the levels of Mileena, Kano, Baraka, Goro, Rain and Tanya.

Toomi: Not only that, but Ganon has also succeeded in conquering kingdoms and cursed Deku Trees which are levels beyond Kotal Kahn's abilities.

Sachi: And truth to be told, Kotal Kahn could barely hold his own against base Ganon, so once Ganondorf transforms into Ganon, Kotal went down easily, unable to put up much of a fight.

Megumi: Looks like Ganon finished off the Outworld Emperor in a Kotal Pigtality!

Toomi: The winner is Ganondorf

Ganondorf: Ha ha ha ha ha!

Toomi: Hey guys, thank you so much for checking out our battle in What if Battles 2.

Sachi: If you want more content like this, don't forget to add this in your library and comment if you have any idea for a fight.

Megumi: Until then, next time on What if Battles....
