Megumi: But to be one, all it takes are intelligence, strength, blades and wings!

Toomi: Like Kars, the leader of the Pillar Men,

Megumi: And Meruem, the Chimera Ant King, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: 102,000 years ago around the time of Sun Tzu, there exist an ancient race of humanoids whom the civilizations of South America revered as gods.

Megumi: These godly beings, while on top of the food chain, were unable to move about in the sunlight and have a greatly reduced reproductive cycle compared to humans.

Sachi: But one among them sought to purge their biological flaws and "tame the sun" for the sake of absolute perfection. This being, Kars, created the Stone Masks and designed them to unlock the wearer's genetic potential.

Toomi: Though it had partial success with human test subjects, turning them into vampiric beings, the Stone Masks lacked the strength to penetrate the hide of Kars's people deep enough to suit their purpose.

Megumi: Soon, Kars own people began rebelling against him after fearing of him turning mad to which he then slaughtered everyone except Edisisi, Wamuu and Santana.

Toomi: Learning of the Red Stone of Aja and that's its power would complete his evolution, Kars takes Esidisi and Wamuu with him to Rome where they battled Hamon users at the start of the Anno Domino era.

Sachi: But Kars is compelled by his need to hibernate, fusing himself to a stone wall hidden within a Roman catacomb. But his revival foretold to occur in the year 2852 of the Aztec calendar, his kind designated as "Pillar Men"

Megumi: Man, that's the beat when 2020 comes along.

Toomi: In the year 1993, Kars awoken, determined to finish what he has started. It was there when he developed a strong hatred for Joseph Joestar which would ultimately be his downfall once achieving his goal

Sachi: Being a Pillar Man, Kars is capable of twisting and shaping his body, shaping them to resemble that of beasts, with wings being his most signature.

Megumi: Kars' power is that of light, he is able to produce bladed appendages from his arms and legs and use these to reflect blinding light toward his enemies.

Toomi: And like many JoJo characters, he can use Hamon, light energy powerful enough to harm vampires, in fact, his Hamon has been described to be as hot as the sun

Sachi: And with the stone of Aja, he can absorb light to enable himself to recover from wounds and become the Ultimate Being.

Narrator: A perfect being is: One, invincible. Two, does not age. Three, will not ever die. Four, has the ability of all other life forms, and outperforms them.

Megumi: So basically, to create an Ultimate being, he has to unstoppable, be immortal, cannot die, and can perform better. So the way to describe Kars is he cannot die.

Toomi: Kars is not your average Pillar-Person he's a fast learner meaning he could speak multiple languages fluent In under a couple of days. he has an IQ of over 400+ and is smart enough to use the Hamon which is a 4,000 year technique he mastered on his first try and even dodged and survived Stroheim's weaponry like being shot to kingdom come.

Megumi: And he even stated that his Hamon was 100 times more powerful than Joseph's... It was even recorded that it was as hot as the sun.

Sachi: As Ultimate Kars, he can use pieces of his flesh and shape them into animals, creating Piranhas that chewed through Joseph Joestar's plane, creating an armour out of air bubbles to give him a temporary resistance to magma and even survived getting shot into space.

Feats

Killed all other Pillar Men with the help of Esidisi.

Nearly killed the Hamon clan (During the times of the Roman Empire).

Is stronger than Dio who survived a massive ship explosion.

Is as fast if not faster than Wamuu who can move faster than the eye can see.

Defeated Rudol von Stroheim who was made to be able to kill Pillar Men and was confirmed to be stronger than Santana, in just 2 minutes.

Toomi: Good question, Kars is powerful but that doesn't mean he's perfect. he's been outsmarted by Joseph Joestar, sent into Outer Space by an eruption more powerful than any Atomic Bomb that he could have escaped.

Sachi: He's also still vulnerable to Sunlight and Ultraviolet Rays and tends to be quite cocky

Weakness

Has a bit of a crutch for nature in general, and will go out of his way to avoid harming non-human organisms.

An excellent planner, but still not immune to emotion. After becoming God in all but name, one of the first things Kars did was chase Joseph; an act that cemented his downfall a day into his transcendent power.

While Kars can survive the vacuum of space, he will quickly freeze and float around space for the rest of time, never to return.

Megumi: But if that is really all his weaknesses, then there really isn't any hope in stopping the Ultimate Being.

Toomi: In the world of Hunter X Hunter, monsters roam the land, some more fierce and savage than others, requirin top-notch warriors and trained Hunters to keep peace.

Megumi: Not all of these monsters, however, are your average "big, savage and bloodthirsty" stereotype, however. One of these extremely feared races was the Chimera Ants, a species of insect hybrids that uses Phara...Phago...

Toomi: Phagogenesis, a fictional means of reproducing by feeding animals to the Queen and imparting the DNA of said animals to the next generation of Chimera Ants.

Sachi: In simple terms, if the Queen eats a wolf, she will give birth to a wolf and ant hybrid.

Megumi: Ugh, I can't stand all of these creepy crawlies! Why can't we just have normal spiders and centipedes instead of giant insect hybrids that make babies by eating you!?

Toomi: After a certain period of time has passed after a Queen forms a colony, she focuses all of her efforts to creating a Chimera Ant King. In traditional Chimera Ant customs, the King then assumes command of the entire colony, including the three Royal Guards, leaves the nest and forms new ones far beyond the normal nest. However, not all of these colonies follow this traditional order...

Sachi: In one particular colony, the Queen was getting ready to give birth to a Chimera Ant King. However, his Royal Highness was so eager to see the world that he literally tore right out of his mother's womb and accidentally killed her.

Megumi: Holy shit! I think I gonna hurl.

Toomi: After getting used to his surroundings as the new Chimera Ant King, the royal heir took to the throne and began commanding his legion of loyal Chimera Ant folllowers. His name: Meruem

Megumi: Daaaammnnn!! The dude's only, like, several hours old, and he is not only a pro at killing people, but he even has a badass name! And it makes sense, given his sheer power!

Sachi: As you'd expect, Chimera Ants are stronger the higher rank they have; Royal Guards are stronger than Squadron Leaders, Squadron Leaders are stronger than Officers, etc. The King is, of course, the strongest Chimera Ant there could be. However, even by Chimera Ant King standards, Meruem is extremely powerful, even considering himself above all other life forms.

Toomi: Meruem is an expert at hand-to-hand combat, and possesses a ridiculous amount of physical power as well as nearly unmatched speed and reaction time. As a Chimera Ant King, Meruem also has a powerful tail with a deadly stinger that he mainly uses to decapitate people with.

Sachi: Meruem also possesses an incredible amount of Aura, spiritual energy in the world of Hunter X Hunter, as well as Nen. Nen is, in essence, a technique or ability that allows users to manipulate their aura to perform many kinds of sub-abilities

Megumi: He can use Gyo, a technique that allows the user to see things that are normally invisible, Ren summons a field of aura outside the user's body and increases Meruem's already overpowered strength and durability, and En is basically where Meruem creates a sphere of aura and turns it into tiny photons and literally deploys it in a huge flash of light to give him information on anything the aura touches, like where his targets might be hiding or the density and feeling of the stuff the aura photons interact with.

Toomi: By feeding on Nen users, he increased the size of his aura even further. After he consumed part of the bodies of two of his guards, Shiapouf and Menthuthuyoupi, he obtained some of their Hatsu abilities which involves sprouting wings to fly like Menthuthuyoupi or sending spiritual messages through microscopic photons like Shiapouf.

Megumi: That bug is also a tough bug, having taken a large number of punches from Netero's 100-Guanyin Bodhisattva. Heck he could even dodge punches from them as well!

Sachi: He has also one shotted Peggy and Turtle, two Chimera Ants weaker than him. Knocked out Knuckle and Meleoron and even took out Netero's arms and legs with just one blow.

Toomi: And remember our previous battle Yusuke vs Gon? Well Netero is considered to be the strongest Nen user in his time and not only has all his attacks basically gave Meruem minor injuries but he wasn't able to take a single blow, having being resorted to activate a nuke inside him body to defeat Meruem.

Meruem: And it turns out he survived. Man, poor Netero sacrificed himself for nothing.

Toomi: Not so. As it turns out the Poor Man Rose is more than just a regular bomb, it also emits a poison that can cause internal damage, their organs getting destroyed in a slow and painful manner. It is also contagious as Shiaipouf, Menthuthuyoupi and Kumogi, people close to Meruem after his defeat were also poisoned as well.

Sachi: And he is very arrogant as well.

Megumi: Well Sachi, for someone as arrogant as him, he lost a game to a girl, a blind girl in fact.

Toomi: Despite being born to kill humans, Meruem ironically came to respect them, even developing a friendship with Komugi and showed her geniune kindness and care which according to Komugi, are things people have never shown to her before.

Sachi: And when the poison took effect, Meruem and Komugi died peacefully together.

Sachi: Wha...are you okay Megumi?

Megumi: Yeah, never thought the death of a bug would make me cry this much. But in the end, Meruem did learned how to be something he ironically was never meant to do...be human.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

In the far outskirts of the Sahara Desert, a statue stood motionless.

At that moment, the bright light of the moon shines on top of the statue just as Meruem lands feet first on the ground, sitting himself onto the floor to relax.

With the moonlight illuminating on the statue, right at that moment, the statue's eyes began blinking before coming to life.

Alarmed by the sound, Meruem opens his eyes in shock, staring at a tall muscular man cladded in what seems to be the most scantily cladded outfit he has seen.

His long hair blows in the wind with the moon light glistening on the amount of make up on his face.

His name is Kars, the former King of the Pillar Men.

Kars steps towards Meruem, introducing himself.

Kars: I am Kars and you mortal have sealed your fate.

Meruem didn't answer, he simply stands up and he says to Kars in the most scornful manner.

Meruem: Such words won't work on me human...

Meruem slams his tail down onto the floor as Kars folds his arms, challenging him.

Kars: I don't know what kind of abomination spawned you but you have no place in my world!

Meruem: Then I guess I shall make my move.

WHOOSH!!!

Meruem launches himself up into the air, flying straight towards Kars at blinding speed.

Announcer: Fight!

Kars raises up his hands, unsheathing two blades from his arms before raising them up, blocking a blow from Meruem.

BAM!!!

Kars swings his leg up, sending Meruem flying into the air.

WHAM!!!

Kars then leaps up into the air, striking at the Chimera Ant repeatly before grabbing him and throwing him down onto the ground.

CRASH!!!

Kars: Ha ha ha ha!

Kars bursts out laughing before landing feet first onto the ground, but what he saw causes his eyes to widen in shock and horror.

Rising out of the smoke is Meruem, whom aside from a bleeding lip, has sustained almost no damage at all.

Meruem walks up, complimenting Kars calmly.

Meruem: A good attack. But...it leaves a lot to be desired.

WHOOSH!!!

Before Kars could react, Meruem closes in, striking Kars across his body.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Meruem swings his tail out, sending Kars flying with a single hit.

WHAM!!!

As Kars is up in the air, Meruem sprouts out wings before swooping upwards, flying up before turning around and swinging his leg outwards, sending Kars flying with a single hit.

BAM!!!

Kars: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Kars screams out in agony as he was sent crashing backfirst into the ground before collapsing.

Meruem lowers himself down, sitting himself onto the floor as he spat.

Meruem: Pathetic.

However, right at that moment, the sun began shining from the horizon, rising as a sign of day break.

As the sun continues to rise, what Meruem saw causes him to widen his eyes in intrigue.

Meruem: Hm?

Kars began pushing himself up, except thing time, he has the stone mask on his face and on the top of it is the Red Stone of Aja!

The stone began glowing brightly as Kars absorbs the sunlight before the stone mask cracks and Kars stood strong in the sun, now stronger than ever!

Kars has become Ultimate Kars!

Meruem then clenches his fist, summoning Hatsu around his body as he faces Kars, feeling himself slightly intimidated by Kars's sudden boost of power.

Kars smirks as he lifts up his hand, causing it to morph into that of a squirrel before pointing it at Meruem, sending the rodent lunging towards him.

Squirrel: SKREEEEEEE!!!

Meruem swings his tail out, instantly killing the squirrel with a single strike.

WHAM!!!

However, right at that moment, Meruem felt a sharp piercing sensation stabbing through his abdomen.

SHOK!!!

Meruem: HUAGHHHH!!!

Meruem looks back, his eyes widens in shock as he finds Kars now behind him.

Meruem: What? But how did you?

Kars: Victory is all I go for and victory is what I shall have!

Kars then throws Meruem up into the air before throwing a punch.

BAM!!!

With Meruem flying upwards, both of Kars's arms began morphing into wings as he takes off into the sky, hot in pursuit.

Sky

High up in the sky, Meruem sprouts out his wings before halting in midair, staring down just as the winged figure of Kars closes in.

Narrowing his eyes, both Meruem and Kars swoops across the air, exchanging blows amongst themselves.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Meruem thrusts his hands out, firing a blast of energy right at Kars.

PIU!!!

Dodging the attack, Kars slams his wings together, sending several feathers flying up to which morphs into piranhas.

WHAM!!! WHAM!!!

With two strikes, Meruem easily dispatches the piranhas before flying towards Kars, only for the Pillar Man to slam his knee into his gut.

WHAM!!!

Meruem: HUAGHHHH!!!

Kars then slams his forehead into Meruem, sending him crashing into a nearby island.

BAM!!! CRASH!!!

As the smoke clears. Meruem pushes himself up, now covered in visible cuts and bruises as Kars laughs at him.

Kars: Ha ha! Don't you see? I am the Ultimate Lifeform! And there is nothing you can do to stop me!

Meruem swings his tail out, sending a rock flying

Kars sneers as he swoops down, channeling the Hamon around his fist as he throws a punch, striking through the boulder.

CRASH!!!

The fist then continues flying downwards before grazing Meruem right in the cheek.

Meruem winces, feeling the purple blood oozing out of his wound as Kars bounce back, shouting out.

Kars: I'm not done with you yet!

Summoning another Hamon aura, Kars throws one more punch, instantly slicing Meruem's head off.

SHOK!!!

As Meruem's head falls onto the floor, Kars picks it up before bursting into a loud fit of maniacal laughter.

Kars: AH HA HA HA HA HA!!! Meddlesome insect!

KO!

Megumi: Bird man vs flying ant? Yeah, we know who really wins.

Toomi: Initially, the fight seems to be in Meruem's favour due to how Meruem is capable of taking blows from a powerful Nen user without flinching while Kars can still be harmed by a much younger and weaker Joseph Joestar whose Hamon wasn't strong at that time.

Sachi: But all that changed when he became Ultimate Kars.

Toomi: Now at first, the fight looks like it could go either way except that Kars now beats Meruem completely in speed.

Sachi: Meruem's capability of dodging over a thousand punches from Netero is impressive except that those blows were mostly moving at Mach 1 while Kars can keep literally control light and keep up with Joseph who can already move faster than light.

Megumi: Meruem may have a much harder striking strength considering how he can pulverise a human and a Chimera ant with a blow and those can most likely kill Kars...

Toomi: If he could even kill him at all.

Sachi: Thanks to his immortality, Kars has been described that he cannot be killed by any means, if bullets cannot kill him, lava cannot kill him and not even getting stabbed can kill him. Hell, Kars even survived a volcanic explosion close to a nuke.

Megumi: Can't say the same about Meruem who got blown up and poisoned by a Poor Man Rose bomb, a bomb that was mentioned to be easy to mass produce and can detonate with the same kind of explosion from a nuke.

Toomi: And Kars cannot really die plus his Hamon has been described to be hotter than the sun when normal fire has been shown actually hurting Meruem whilst Kars can conjure a armour tough enough to swim in lava.

Sachi: And Kars did survive in space and Meruem did not

Toomi: Meruem may hold the upper hand in strength and speed at first but once Kars becomes the Ultimate Being, he has the immortality to bypass Meruem's attacks and the Hamon to finish him off once and for all.

Megumi: Looks like Meruem's got bugged out.

Sachi: The winner is Kars

Kars: Tsk! Get lost!
