Toomi: In the world of the Boiling Isle is where magical beings like witches, wizards, monsters and exists, there also lies a school that teaches kids the foundation of magic.

Megumi: Behold Hexside School of Magic and Demonics, where students learns magic ranging from runes to learning actual magic, basically like Hogwarts.

Sachi: And among the students is Amity Blight, the top student of the Abomination Class.

Amity: As top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it. Even you can get a passing grade someday.

Toomi: Amity basically went about bullying other kids who are unable to compete with her until one day she saw Willow gained a passing grade on her Abomination test which shocks her.

Megumi: So long story short, she went to question Willow about her abomination which turns out to be a human called Luz disguising herself as an Abomination to help Willow, where after finding out, she spends most of the series antagonising the human

Sachi: But those feelings of hate never lasts as it turns out both girls are fans of Azura and with Luz helping Amity with her twin brother and sister, Amity eventually apologises and the two became friends.

Toomi: Being a witch, Amity is skilled in magic and being a top student also makes Amity's skills with magic exceptional among her peers.

Megumi: Being from the Abomination class means that Amity is skilled in creating Abominations to serve her and fight for her.

Sachi: Abomination magic actually does more than creating golums. Highly skilled Abomination users like Amity can even create constructs to weaponise Abomination magic, as shown where she can create a projection to shield herself from Hunter and even create a giant hand to do her bidding.

Toomi: She's also skilled in other forms of magic like fire magic, plant magic, mystical projections to display images and disintergration spells which she can well, disintergrate items.

Megumi: She has been able to match against Luz in magic, held her own against a much stronger abominations and bested the Slitherbeast, Grometheus, Abomiton 1.0, and Hunter

Megumi: And also Disney's first canonically Lesbian character to be in an open relationship in a show.

Toomi: However, despite her good grades, things aren't always sunshine and rainbows for Amity as she has a sense of insecurity due to her mother's controlling attitude, her father's neglectfulness and her twin siblings antiques, Amity has never been able to express herself well.

Sachi: And her pride has sometimes been her downfall as shown in the first season, her overconfidence in her ability has still made her lose to Luz who wasn't skilled with magic at that time.

Megumi: And like Luz, she is a fan of The Good Witch Azura as well which her siblings makes fun of her for it, so she kind of know what Luz went through in the human realm.

Megumi: But thanks to the support of her father and her siblings, Amity was able to embrace her true self and she works alongside Luz to free the Boiling Isle from the reign of Belos

Toomi: The Luna Nova Magical Academy is a renowned school dedicated to teaching young witches the art of magic.

Megumi: And based off the title, I guess this entire show is basically My Hero Academia but with witches.

Toomi: Maybe so but shockingly, the series was created by the same people who made Kill la Kill but the similarities is that the school accepts mostly magic users the same way the school in MHA accepts only superpowered youths.

Sachi: Initially, only witches from magical families were admitted, but due to economic difficulties, it was decided to also allow the entrance to witches without magical inheritance.

Megumi: Which can't be help as magic began to grow more obsolete and the staff choosing to stick to the old traditions certainly didn't improve the school's finances in any way.

Toomi: Though there is one particular witch from a magical family that is also the best student in the school, going by the name Diana Cavendish.

Toomi: During the first part of the series, Diana's cold and arrogant attitude continues to antagonise Atsuko Kagari with her being annoyed by the girl's lack of talent in magic and her annoying antics though she slowly develop respect for her.

Sachi: Due to her being born from a family of witches, Diana was born with "talent in her veins" which makes her the most skilled witch in the school, capable of performing the extremely complicated Nullification Spell to negate any kind of magic which is part of the powerful Fusion Magic, which can enhance the user's power on her spells.

Diana has shown to be skilled in flying with a broom, having shown to be the fastest broom flyer, even surpassing Amanda O'Neill and being able to beat Atsuko Kagari in a race while the latter was riding on Shooting Star, the fastest magical broom.

Toomi: Now note that Shooting Star has been mentioned to be capable of flying till the end of the Earth with or without the pilot in an entire day, which in order to do so, would have to cross the circumference of the planet in the distance of 24,901 miles. And to do it in a short amount of time, the broom has to move at speeds close to the speed of light.

Megumi: Geez, and Diana actually barely won in a close race against it.

Sachi: And being a top student means that Diana's pride would lead her into bullying and shaming students who are nowhere near as good as her, as shown of her constant clashes with Akko.

Megumi: Though it is mostly due to Akko's inability to learn magic

Inside a big stadium, rolls of seats are filled with students from two different schools as the annual witch fighting tournament between Hexcide and Luna Nova is about to commence.

Standing in the middle of the arena, the announcer declares out.

Announcer: Welcome to our annual witch fighting tournament for this year, the best students of Hexcide and Luna Nova are gonna be competing for the world championship!

Cheers erupts across the stadium as the announcer points to the left, introducing the first combatant.

Announcer: Coming in first we have the top student of Hexcide acing in the Abomination class, Amity Blight!

Cheers erupts from the fans as Amity steps out, waving to her supporting classmates, and to one particular someone in the spectator seats.

Then the announcer points to the right side, introducing Amity's opponent.

Announcer: And facing off Amity is the top student of Luna Nova, the pride of the Cavendish family, Diana Cavendish!

Cheers erupts from the fans as Diana steps out with a cold indifferent expression as she faces off Amity.

Both witches faces off each other as the announcer shouts.

Announcer: And let the match begin!

Amity then says to Diana.

Amity: I can't wait to see what you got.

Diana: I can say the same about you.

Both Amity and Diana rushes towards each other, preparing for battle.

Announcer: Fight!

Amity conjures an abomination hand just as Diana points her wand forward, the two clashing into a powerful boom.

BOOM!!!

As the two is sent flying back. Diana uses her magic to reanimate several crumbled statues into golums before sending them rushing towards Amity.

Amity at the same time, conjures several abominations who rushes forward, smashing through the rock golums with a single blow.

CRUNCH!!!

As the abominations closes in, Diana swings her leg out, instantly destroying one with a kick before firing a magic blast into another's head, causing it to explode.

THOOM!!!

The last abomination wraps it's arms around Diana, grabbing her tightly as Diana struggles.

Diana: Rgn! Get off me!

Diana unleashes a powerful burst of magic, instantly causing the abomination to explode in an explosion of sludge.

BOOM!!!

As a lizard scurries past her, Diana points her wand on the lizard, transforming it into a large sabretooth cat.

THOOM!!!

Smilodon: GRRRRR!!!

Amity instantly conjures another Abomination who growls at the Smildon.

Both the Smilodon and Abomination grapples into each other, the large cat growls as it slashes and bites into the Abomination who then grabs onto the cat, throwing a punch.

POW!!!

As the Smilodon drops onto the floor, Diana throws a spell onto the large cat, transforming it into a Utaraptor who then lunges at the abomination, destroying it with a slash.

SLASH!!!

Right as the Utaraptor finished off the abomination, at that moment, several vines rose from the bottom, ensnarling the reptile, forcing it to revert back into a lizard.

POOF!!!

As the lizard scurries away, Diana summons a fireball, prompting Amity to do the same as the two launches the fire balls onto each other, creating a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

At that moment, Diana swoops out of the smoke, riding a witch broom as she flies straight onto Amity, striking into her repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

As Diana turns around to attack Amity, Amity quickly summons a giant abomination fist, sending it slamming straight into Diana.

WHAM!!!

Diana: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Diana screams out as the impact of the blow sends her tumbling onto the floor.

As both Diana and Amity faces off each other, on the spectator seats, their friends, Luz and Akko screams loudly at the two, cheering them on.

Luz: You can do it Amity!

Atsuko: Yeah! Come on Diana!

Motivated by the cheering of her girlfriend, Amity conjures up several abominations before jumping on top of the largest one, directing them towards Diana.

Diana sat on her broom and she flies forward, firing a blast of fire onto one of them, causing them to go off in an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Diana then unleashes a torrent of water, creating a water construct of a unicorn which splashes into another abomination.

SPLASH!!!

However, that move instantly causes Amity to summon several large vines, sending them wrapping around Diana.

TWIP!!! GRIP!!!

Diana: Ah! No!

Amity then swings the vine back and forth, slamming Diana repeatly onto the ground.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Before Amity can slam Diana again, Diana unleashes a nullification spell, causing the plant to instantly vapourise.

WHOOM!!!

While Diana attempts to regain her composure, Amity rushes forward, covering her fists in Abomination hands before throwing multiple punches at the witch.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Diana: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Diana screams out as she was sent flying from the last blow, causing her to crash onto the ground.

As Diana pushes herself up, Amity questions her confidently.

Amity: Ready to give up?

Diana narrows her eyes at Amity, thinking to herself.

Diana: That witch is far tougher than I thought, it's time to finish this quickly.

Diana pushes herself up, dusting herself as she smirks, complimenting Amity.

Diana: Not bad. You really got me there, but it's time we get serious.

Diana then points her wand at Amity, firing several magic blasts at Amity who conjures up a shield, shielding herself from harm.

Diana then dashes forward, only for a giant abomination to strike her hard in the face.

WHAM!!!

Diana: ARGHHHHHH!!!

As Diana is sent crashing into a wall, Amity summons a fire ball before launching it at Diana, only for the witch to activate another spell. Her rewind spell, rewinding herself back to before the abomination can hit her

WHOOM!!!

As the giant abomination prepares to strike onto Diana, Diana jumps up, dodging the attack before launching herself right onto Amity.

WHOOSH!!!

Amity widens her eyes in horror as Diana closes in, her eyes staring right into the wand which unleashes a powerful blast of magic square into her face.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Amity's entire head went off in a massive explosion before screeching across the floor, blood trailing after her body before going limp.

Without Amity alive to hold up the spell, the abomination instantly breaks apart, melting into a pile of goo as the announcer announces out.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, Diana Cavendish is the winner!

Crowd: YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!

Diana simply brushes her hair as the entire stadium erupts in a wild applause while the students of Hexcide stares at what remains of Amity in horror.

Megumi: Welp that is one sports event to remember!

Toomi: Amity's knowledge of magic and her abominations certainly made things difficult for Diana but Diana however has many ways to basically end this fight.

Sachi: In terms of magical knowledge, though both have a good variety to match each other, Diana's knowledge of magic is far superior due to her magic backgroung.

Toomi: Now you see, the difference between the way Hexcide and Luna Nova teaches magic is that due to Emperor Belos' tyrannical rule, each witch can only train one kind of magic which ends up limiting the users magic while Luna Nova teaches a huge range of magic, ranging from shapeshifting to even conjuring powerful magical blasts.

Megumi: So that gives Diana a big versatility advantage over Amity. While Amity is capable of learning other magic, the strict rules of her school and her parents operations only restricts her to mostly abomination magic.

Toomi: Though that is not entirely a disadvantage. Being able to utilize abomination magic to help her in her fights, Amity holds a big advantage in combat skills having a more hands on experience in fighting with martial arts as compared to Little Witch Academia which relies mostly on shooting magic spells.

Sachi: But at the end of the day, better combat skills won't matter in a fight between magic users as Diana's broom gave her a speed advantage with her flight and her ability to manipulate time with her time manipulation means she will always be one step ahead of Amity.

Toomi: In turn, having a good amount of magic skills, better speed, more range of attacks and techniques, we can thereby declare that in this battle of magic, Diana has what it takes to claim this victory.

Megumi: Looks like this sand-witch is a Cavendish best served hot.

Sachi: The winner is Diana Cavendish
