After a couple of days they went to the beach with Hong, Jin and Da Qing.

When Yunlan told them the news, Jin looked at Hong and seeing her smile happily and carefree, he felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He paid them no more attention.

Da Qing said "Finally!" then went to get himself a coke.

Yunlan smiled and set himself on his beach chair. Wei laid on his stomach on the one beside him, happily opening a new book, until he felt Yunlan’s hand on his bare back.

"Yunlan!" He whispered loudly. "Not here, there are people around."

Yunlan smirked. "I only wanted to put suncream on you, with such a fair skin you need to take care of your health."

Wei blushed and Yunlan loved it. He leaned closer with his whole body and whispered in his ear, "What were you thinking, you pervert?"

Wei’s face light up on fire, then he looked at him and Yunlan saw the flame in his eyes.

He had once wondered if Wei would be strong or delicate, and now he knew. His Wei was both serious and kind, both delicate and strong and he only wondered now how could anyone be so perfect, and how did he ever get so lucky to have him all to himself.

He enjoyed making him blush, but he also loved his passionate side, so when Wei grabbed his arm Yunlan giggled and let himself be pulled towards the beach cubicle where they had left their clothes.

Wei locked the door and they kissed with passion. They had thought they wanted each other before, but now that they knew how it felt to be touched by the other, they craved those touches even more.

When Guo learned about Wei and Yunlan, he congratulated them with a tired smile. He had been working a lot and was more tired than usual, but always cheerful.

Now that the new, and their last school year was about to start, Guo switched to a part-time job again.

Wang and Sang came back, and neither Wei or Yunlan ever thought it would be so easy; their new relationship had barely been acknowledged with a nod and a smile when Hong noticed first that they both had a ring on their fingers, so all attention was now on them.

Wang and Sang had never told anyone but their families never got along; he loved her very much and would have fought the world for her, but she suggested getting married instead and let their families face the truth.

So they eloped and got married in secret. Their families had not taken it well, and they didn’t know if they ever will, but they were not willing to give up on each other.

Hearing all this Yunlan realised more than ever how lucky he was, it would have broken his heart had he had to choose between Wei and Hong, and he thanked his star that they always got along so well.

Shen Wei insisted that they accepted his help, his family had a little house they never used and he wanted them to have it. He also gave them some money, insisting that a newly wed couple needed something to start off on the right track.

Sang’s pride rebelled against it but he yield for Wang’s sake. He took careful notes of everything that was given to him, determined to pay it all back in full. He also took notes of the house rent, because they liked the house so much they were actually planning on staying there.

It was very small - probably why Wei’s family didn’t favor it - but very comfy and nice, and Wang loved it.

Sang was determined to find a job as soon as possible, and protect and provide for his wife. They may have hard times ahead, but they were very much in love and happy.

Jin finally asked Hong out on a date, and she was radiant with joy.

Da Qing snorted and said, "Great, other two that will flirt in my face" and they all laughed.

He wasn’t really amused of being the only one single, though.

There came a day when they all had a dilemma. Da Qing had to go visit some relatives, Wang and Sang were busy setting up their new home, Jin and Hong wanted to go on a date alone, and Yunlan really wanted to see Wei’s house and find out how big his bed was.

The dilemma was, what about Guo? They had always escorted him home after he got paid, they had become very fond of him and were worried to leave him alone.

Of course they knew that bad things didn't happen every day, but they also knew that Guo had the bad habit of walking with the money in his hands, day-dreaming, looking like the easiest prey in the world.

Guo protested that he could very well walk home alone, that he was nineteen now and could take care of himself, but they just looked at him and ignored his protests.

Wei thought of asking Ren, knowing he would do it, but this didn’t ease his worries. Ren had many good qualities, but he was not a fighter.

After he said this out loud, he smirked at Yunlan’s big smile. Yunlan whispered in his ear “I would know how to protect you” and Wei shivered at his hot breath on his skin and the thought of his strong arms.

He really wanted to show him his be.. room, he thought blushing, and an idea popped in his mind when he saw Chu walking by and nodding at him.

Chu’s presence would be enough to keep everyone away, he thought.

Wei stood up immediately and called him back.

"Can I ask you a favour?" Wei explained the situation to him, he told him the time and place and smiled relieved when Chu agreed.

Chu turned towards the others, ignoring everyone and smirking at Guo. "See you then."

Usually big guys like Chu scared the hell out of little Guo, and he would have been terrified now too hadn’t he thought of Chu as his hero.

After finishing his shift, Guo walked out happily with the pay in his hands smiling like a child.

"Better to put that away," Chu said appearing instantly at his side, and Guo did.

Since that time when he stopped some jerks from hurting Guo (the same day that Wei earned his respect), Chu had always kept an eye on the kid, making sure it didn’t happen again.

There was something unearthly pure about Guo that he wanted to safeguard. He looked like an angel and he wanted to protect him. He had done so in the shadows, but now thanks to Shen Wei he could openly walk beside him and even talk to him.

Wei had asked him for a favour, but he thought it was him who owned Shen Wei one.

Yunlan was in awe. Wei’s house was huge. He knew he had money, of course, but this... Suddenly he felt very poor. Wei looked at him worried, he didn’t like people looking at him differently after learning about his family and money, and said nothing while he lead him inside his house and to his room.

Today his parents were out, which was why he had chosen this day to bring him home. He didn’t want to rush things too much, little safe steps were more his style. There will be time to introduce him to his parents...

Yunlan stopped outside his room and looked intensely at him. "One day I will buy a big house and you will live with me."

Wei hugged him tight, feeling such a love for him that he thought it would consume him, then he opened the door.

Yunlan growled, "WOW" when he saw Wei's big bed. "The things we could do on a bed like this..."

Wei blushed and Yunlan continued.
"With so much space, I can roll you over and make you mine..."

Wei's eyes instantly burned with passion. "You can try," he said smiling seductively, then he pushed him on the bed before he crawled over him and started kissing him breathless.

Yunlan basked in his passion, feeling something special inside every time he made Wei lose control, happily drowning in the love they shared, willingly losing himself under him, loving to tease him but not really caring about who took charge, not when Wei's touches burned on his skin and his kisses sent him to heaven.

He just wanted him, now and forever.
