It was a snowy night. George woke up, sweat trickling down his forehead, echoing the final words of his nightmare.

"...Failed"

The guitarist brought himself out of bed, soft moonlight peaking through both clouds and curtains, framing a well built man whose body was lined with incredibly faint stretch marks which told a different story.

In the bathroom, George flicked on the lights, staring in the mirror while the cold water ran in between his fingers, letting it run for a second more before splashing his face a couple of times.

"Another nightmare George love?" A female voice called out.

He was massaging the back of his neck unconsciously, staring at the blonde standing in the doorway. She yawned for a moment before looking straight into his eyes.

"Don't deny it, I know you had that nightmare again. I can tell, whenever it happens you always come here." She said, grabbing George by his hand and giving a quick peck on his cheek.

"Pattie, it's to remind me I won. That I managed to overcome her." George muttered, hoping to cool the tension.

"It's getting so frequent though, from what I've read. This is an omen of things to come."

"Pattie, if she ever comes back I'll make sure she doesn't curse you, no matter what happens." George reassured, slipping into the bed alongside his wife.

"Same with you, I saw it was snowing. Let's hope there's more tomorrow."

"I know I know, a much needed day off, goodnight love."

Pattie was quick to doze away once again, however her husband spent a little while longer looking up at the ceiling, the images of his nightmare still appearing in his eyes.

"Failed..." George said before finally going to sleep.

That same night however, a small group of people were lurking in the dark. They weren't your average muggers however, as they stuffed a sleeping body into the trunk of their car. The body in question was an auburn haired man with a hooked nose, he was completely knocked out.

These people had done the impossible as they drove out into the cold night.
