Is it obvious I can't leave this book alone?

"Sammy, did you find Cas?"

"No, Dean..."

Dean sighed. "Why don't you come back home, Sammy? It's...for the best..."

"No, Dean. I'm going to keep looking. I know you're worried about me missing the wedding, but I promise I'll be there."

"Sam, you know that's not the thing I'm worried about..."

"Dean, I'll be fine," Sam muttered into the phone. "Did you two pick a song?"

"Yeah. Wanted Dead Or Alive."

"Of course."

"Shut up bitch."

"Jerk."

The two hung up a few minutes later and Sam put down his phone. "Cas! Wanted Dead Or Alive!" He yelled from the kitchen.

"Thank you!" Cas yelled back as he put clothes into a suitcase.

"Daddy?" Nora asked, padding into his room and climbed on to his bed.

Cas hummed softly. "Yeah baby?"

"Why are we leaving for a while? Is it bad?"

"No, no, baby," he said softly, pushing his suitcase over to sit by hair. "Daddy's brother is getting married to Sammy's brother, so we're going to their wedding. You're going to meet your uncles and grandpa."

"Really?"

"Yup!"

Nora gasped softly and started smiling happily. "Do you think they'll like me?"

Cas smiled and kissed her head. "They'll love you. Now, go pick out the clothes you want to wear and I'll pack them after I finish mine, alright?"

"Ok!" She slid off the bed and ran off to her room.

Cas smiled and went back to packing, quietly singing Wanted Dead Or Alive and thinking about seeing his family again.

A couple of days later, Dean was getting ready for his wedding when there was a knock on the door. "Come in!"

He straightened his tie and looked up as the door opened. "Sammy!" He went over to his little brother and threw his arms around him.

"Hey Dean," Sam said softly, hugging him back. "I told you I'd be back in time."

"I knew you would. Did you..."

"No. Not yet. I wish I could have found him to surprise Gabe.."

"Yeah, I know. You did your best though, Sammy. I know you'll find him."

Sam sighed softly. "Yeah..I will.."

"Do you, Gabriel Novak, take Dean Winchester to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"And do you, Dean Winchester, take Gabriel Novak to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss the groom."

Dean and Gabe kissed and everyone clapped. The two walked down the aisle and everyone filed out the church, quickly jumping in cars and heading to the reception.

Everyone ate a bit and then it was time for Gabe and Dean's dance to their song. Dean's heart thumped as he and Gabe stood in the middle of the large room. He feared that he'd mess up. He glanced around, quickly finding his brother, who was...sitting next to a small girl? He didn't have time to dwell on it though. Gabe and he connected and then the familiar chords to their song started and they began to sway.

"Does something seem different about the song to you?" Gabe whispered quietly as the intro played through.

"Yeah..." Dean whispered back.

"It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday, it seems we're wastin' away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I drive all night just to get back home."

Dean and Gabe both swayed to the music, still confused as to why it sounded a bit different.

"I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
Wanted dead or alive."

Dean smiled and looked down at Gabe who rested his head on his chest, a content smile on his face.
"Sometimes I sleep, sometimes it's not for days
The people I meet always go their separate ways
Sometimes you tell the day
By the bottle that you drink
And times when you're all alone all you do is think."

"Son of a bitch..."

Gabe suddenly felt Dean stop moving and stumbled over his husband's feet. He lifted his head and looked up at his face. "Dean? What's wrong?"

"I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
Wanted (wanted) dead or alive."

Gabe pulled away from Dean and turned to see what he was looking at. When he saw, his own jaw dropped. "Oh my God..."

"Oh, and I ride."

Sam smiled when he saw the looks on Dean and Gabe's faces. He chuckled a little.

"Oh, and I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive."

Gabe watched as his little brother, whom has been gone for 10 years, played his guitar, and sang. Tears came to his eyes as he watched.

"I walk these streets
A loaded six-string on my back
I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back
I been everywhere, still, I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces
And I've rocked them all."

Dean covered his mouth as his own tears came to his eyes. His best friend was there, singing his husband's and his song. His best friend was back!

"I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side."

Cas made eye contact with his brother and his brother-in-law. He noticed the tears in their eyes and tried not to cry just yet.

"I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive (I still drive) dead or alive
Dead or alive, dead or alive, dead or alive, dead or alive."

Cas finished the song and put down his guitar. Things were dead silent for a full minute before everyone started cheering and clapping. Michael and Chuck just sat there though, surprised to see the youngest son/brother of the family in front of them.

Gabe started walking towards Cas just as Cas to him. Gabe took off in a sprint and ran into his little brothers arms with so much force that they hit the floor with a small thud. Cas laughed and cried as he wrapped his arms around Gabe, hugging him tightly.

Gabe cried into Cas' shoulder as they laid on the floor hugging. He kept holding on to Cas as they were pulled up off of the floor, two pairs of arms wrapping around them.

Dean and Sam hugged their husband/boyfriend and cried with them. Their group was back together now.

They broke away from each other, tear tracks evident on their faces.

"H-How long..?" Gabe started asking, but trailed off.

Cas grinned. "I've been here the whole time. Since before you walked down the aisle."

"You were at the wedding?" Dean asked.

"Yup. The whole thing. And while y'all were eating, I was in the back getting ready to surprise you."

"Y'all?" Gabe and Dean asked.

"When you're in Texas for 10 years, you pick up on their language."

The reception hall was filled with soft chatter and laughter. Chuck and Michael eventually joined the four, giving Cas hugs and kisses.

"So, I have someone I want the rest of you to meet..." Cas said softly, rubbing his neck. Sam smiled and walked away. "A lot has happened in the years I've been gone..."

"Cas, what's going on?" Chuck asked, looking at him with worry in his eyes.

"Well..." He felt arms wrap around his legs and looked down, smiling. He bent over and picked up the small girl Dean had saw Sam sitting next to. "This is Nora. She's...my daughter."

Nora ducked her head into the crook of Cas' neck. Everyone was staring at her and she had gotten embarrassed.

Chuck was the first to say something. "I have a granddaughter," he whispered with a smile.

Cas grinned and nodded. "Yeah." He turned his head and looked at Nora. "C'mon, don't be shy. This is your family."

Chuck immediately opened his arms, a very friendly and excited look on his face. His grin got even bigger when Nora went into his arms and placed a kiss on his cheek.

The family sat together at one table, talking, laughing, and having fun. Cas noticed that Dean had kept looking at him, but he didn't think about anything about it. Until Dean asked to talk to him outside.

When they got outside, Dean immediately threw his arms around Cas and hugged him tightly.

"Dean? What's this for?" Cas asked softly.

Dean pulled away, little tears running down his face. "Because, I wanted to say thank you."

"For what?"

"For..." Dean lowered his voice to a whisper. "Killing him..."

"Oh, Sam told you?"

Dean nodded. "Gabe and I were in a motel room when I got a call from a cop. He said that...John had been killed. Then I got a call from Sam. He said he needed to be picked up from the police station, so we went. When we got there, I was just...disorientated. My dad was dead and my little brother was in jail, so Gabe did most of the talking. When we were done I told Sam about our dad, but all he said was, 'I know'.  I asked him how and...he told us the whole story. From both of you going to our house to after you...you know..."

Cas looked up at him tears freely falling. "I'm sorry for what I did, Dean.."

"I'm not mad. I'm...glad you did what you did."

"Why?"

"Because that night, Sam told me the things that he used to go through with John. And hearing about the beatings...name calling...rape...I just...I wanted to kill him. But then I got mad at myself, cause I started thinking about the times John was around how Sam would stiffen, but I didn't think anything of it...I beat myself up for that for months. I was just...so blinded by...by...I don't know..."

"Dean, it wasn't your fault. It wasn't Sam's fault. It was neither of your faults. Sam was too afraid to say anything. He wasn't even going to tell me until..."

"You were going to have sex and he didn't want to."

"He told you about that?"

"Yeah..."

Cas blushed and looked down. "Yeah...until that."

Dean smiled a little and hugged Cas. "Still, thank you, Cas. You changed him. You helped him. Thank you so much for that."

Cas smiled and hugged him back. "It was my pleasure, Dean."

The door opened behind them and they pulled away. "Oh...sorry, but Dean, Gabe wanted to try to have another dance again."

Dean chuckled and nodded. "Alright. Thanks Sammy." He gently patted Cas' shoulder and headed back inside.

Sam looked at Cas and frowned. "You were crying..."

"Just a little," Cas said with a shrug.

Sam wrapped his arms around him. "Don't cry. Be happy."

Cas smiled and hugged him tightly. "Alright. I'll be happy."

Sam nodded and kissed his hair. "Alright. Good. I love you."

"I love you too, Sam. I always have and always will."
