Mistystar is brought into RiverClan as a kit in Crookedstar's Promise, but we don't focus much on her then, other than Crookedstar wondering about Oakheart bringing the kits in. In Bluestar's Prophecy, it's revealed in the end that Bluestar is Mistystar and Stonefur's mother. They're shocked about this, as they never suspected anything. Eventually, in the lake territory, Leopardstar dies and Mistystar takes over for the Great Battle. At the end of the current series, Mistystar is still a strong and loyal leader.

Mistystar is certainly an interesting cat! She inherited the loyal character from Leaopardstar, who she succeeded, but not in the same way. Leopardstar was fiercely loyal and spoke out against any cat that defied her. Part of this aggressiveness comes from when he joined TigerClan with Tigerstar. She knew she was wrong when she joined, but didn't admit it.

Mistystar on the other hand would openly admit her defeat and, with her head held high, retreat back into her own Clan or join LionClan. She is a very intelligent leader and has many many moons before she starts to get old and frail. Her deputy choice of a young and experienced cat was a wise one.

Undeterred even when her own brother turned his back on the Clan and tried training with the Dark Forest, Mistystar develops a great sense of courage throughout the later books. Then as she is captured and taken away by twolegs and pronounced dead, se comes back with all the same loyalty and attitude she ha when she started. Mistystar is a truly great leader, and I wish her good luck in the moons to come of her leadership.

I really likes Mistystar because she has emotions. Like some cats in the book are just mean all the time, others are brave all the time, and that's not how it really is. I mean, the Erins created an entire short story about her being nervous to become leader! That's what I like about her, and that she watched her mother die, and she was strong even when she saw her own brother get killed right in front of her eyes, and she never broke down. She was strong, she didn't collapse and cry because she her brother was dead. She stayed strong and fought back. Mistystar is a great role model in my opinion.

Even though I don't know much about Mistystar, I still think she had a wonderful character. She ended up with no family after her mother, father and brother were dead. However, she kept her head high and continued as a warrior, to become a tough and yet friendly leader. No strong ambition. The Erin Hunters made her a great and lovable cat that we should all look up to.

As she became leader, she wasn't confronted by any cat which shows how much the other cats respected her. That made her, in a few summed up words: loyal, friendly, orderly, awesome. Her leadership skills were never to be doubted. To me, she shall be and stay one of the best leaders I can think of with some flaws-but no cat can be perfect.

Mistystar was an interesting character, to say the least. I must admit I enjoyed her interactions with the other characters, and how many times her cool, aloof leadership always contrasted with the manic emotions of everyone around her. Her character was very down to Earth, and she always tried to put her Clan before her own personal interests. Being the kit of Bluestar makes her even more interesting, because she is half Clan. Normally a half clan cat would have to prove themselves over and over again to their Clan to show loyalty, but Mistystar has been such a true RiverClan cat from the beginning that the Hunters didn't even have to show much of her struggles in that regard. Instead we get to see how her Clan accepts her and appreciate her as a leader. Its a far cry from how Breezepelt or Tawnypelt are treated in their Clans, and I appreciate that. You rock, RiverClan! Overall, she was another of my favorite characters. Her design was good, her motivations and actions strong, and she is so real in every aspect of her mind and thoughts. Mistyfoot or Mistystar, she is still awesome!

Mistystar inherited her mother's spirit, and became a warrior long ago in the Old Forest. I honestly still can't believe she's alive, she was older than Firestar! I know that her time is coming soon, so I just have to express what a really good leader she truly is and how much she inspires my OC character. And whenever I remember who her parents were, I go "Wow" because her parents are long dead.

I didn't read far enough in the series to see Mistystar become leader, but I know she has always been a noble and honorable warrior. She isn't unwilling to work with other clans, and she seems to always go out of her way to search for a peaceful compromise. She's the true definition of a warrior and leader. Willing to make peace, but also willing to defend her clan and territory, as well as the code. Well, that and she's Bluestars kit, so everyone has a bit of a soft spot for her I'd say.
