Tinywing ran along StarClan with Flightleap by her side. Finchpaw's warrior name had been changed to Flightleap instead of Finchleap, but Tinywing preffered Flightleap.

She ran across the starry soft ground. Darkcloud hadn't been bothering her for a moon, and Tinywing thought that Dark Forest training had ended.

Suddenly Flightleap halted.

"Tinywing, i have to tell you something. . ."

Tinywing looked at Flightleap in confusion. If it was a prophecy, it would be Tinywing's first prophecy she could solve! She padded over to her friend

"What is it?" She asked
Flightleap sighed. She looked away for a moment, gazing into the landscape of the starry glimmering territories.

"There is.... A prophecy." She said at last, still not looking at Tinywing. Tinywing let out a gasp. It was a propchecy! And she would receive it!

Then Flightleap spoke up, her beautiful blue eyes now reflecting snow white light as she spoke the words: "The wind will blow a twig far far from the moor with company to see the lake the four used to lie..." She meowed. The her faintly shimmering pelt started fading.

"Wait! Flightleap! Don't go!" Tinywing pleaded, but Flightleap didn't seem to notice.

Then, the memories began to flood into Tinywing's mind. The first time she had seen Kestrelflight, he had shown her all the territories the clans had ever lived by. One of them was the lake! That was where the wind was going to blow the twig!

But then the question flooded into Tinywing's mind, creating theories. Who was the twig? And who were the company?

The next day, all that Tinywing had done, was pacing back and forth in her den, figuring out who the twig and the company could be.

Suddenly Wildkit burst into the den. Tinywing jumped up, her fur fluffing up.
"Quick! Hide me from Junipertwig before he comes!" She shouted, and started dadhing around the medicine cat den, looking for a place to hide.

"Okay okay, but if you trample this place up someone would think a badger was here." Tinywing meowed, letting out a mrrow of amusement. She sent Wildkit to hide under Tinywing's plump moss nest.

"Ready or not here i come!" Junipertwig's meow sounded from outside. Tinywing padded outside her den enterance, watching the camp activity. Junipertwig was trampling trough every den, Foxkit following him

Tinywing guessed he had found the young kit.

Thymeeye was sharing tounges with Stonemuzzle

Hillnose and Shellsong we're sitting together, Sorrelstar was gazing at the clan from the highrock, Webstripe was padding off on a patrol with Carpfeather, Blackrose, Whitebelly and Silverfur.

Another patrol was being led by Orangeleaf, wich had Whitetail and Rateyes.
Suddenly Junipertwig's meow sounded and Otterkit popped his head out from behind Sorrelstar's den.

"Found ya, Adderkit!" Junipertwig meowed and Adderkit groaned as he padded from under the roots of the Nursery

Tinywing purred. All she wished was that she had a kithood that was fun to remind....

She shuggered the thought away, then turned back to Junipertwig and the marching tom's behind him.

"Wildkit i can see you!" He meowed as he dashed into the medicine cat den

Wildkit let out a groan, "Not fair!" She muttered as she followed her brothers out. Junipertwig stayed, his gaze locked on Wildkit.

Tinywing noticed a spark of kindness and hope in her brother's eyes as he looked at the stubborn she-kit.

She purred. "You like her, don't you?" She asked atlast.

Junipertwig turned to her, surprise in his eyes. The he licked his chest in embaresment. "N-no i don't! She's only a kit.. Why should i like her?" He meowed quickly. Tinywing let out a mrrow of amusement. "Your my brother, you don't have to lie to me." Tinywing promised

Junipertwig watched her for a few heartbeats, then turned away to look outside the medicine cat den. "Yeah..." He said atlast, still not looking at her as he continued.

"I do like her."

"Quick! Tinywing! Whitetail got attacked by a dog!" Orangefur called as her patrol rushed into a camp.

Rateyes led Whitetail into the medicine cat den. As he laid his mate on one of the moss nest's, Whitetail collapsed.

"Get out." Tinywing ordered Rateyes, who obeyed immediatly.
Tinywing rushed to her herb stores and started taking out cobwebs, marigold and poppy seeds.

She started cleaning Whitetail's wounds with marigold, then plastered the cobwebs on the clean wounds.

Whitetail remained unconcious.
Her wounds weren't too deep, but Tinywing knew her mother was in great shock.

For now all she could do was to wait.
She settled down beside her mother and started massasing her fur. As Tinywing accidently touched one of the wounds, Whitetail winced.

She stayed still, but her breathing started to turn calmer. Tinywing sighed and padded to her own nest, curling up.

When Tinywing woke again, she saw the sun setting outside. She turned to look at her mother. The snowy she-cat was now awake, eating a small mouse.

"Who got you that?" Tinywing asked.
"Oh look who's up." Whitetail growled. "I got it myself." She muttered, then turned backto herself.

Tinywing cursed under her breath then meowed: "You shouldn't be moving too much. Your wounds are still fresh and they might open up again with too much activity." Tinywing responded.

"Who's gonna stop me? A puny excuse for a cat like you?" Whitetail snorted

Tinywing growled, then calmed herself with a reminder. Your their medicine cat. You have their life in your paws.
Then she turned to her mother and said:
"You might not treat my like it, but i'm still your daughter, and you are still my mother. No matter what you do won't change that." She finished

Whitetail looked surprised, the thought for a few heartbeats. Those few heartbeats felt like few sunrises as Whitetail gazed into her daughter's grassy eyes, her sky blue eyes reflecting nothing but thoughtfulness and kindness.

Then those heartbeats were over and Whitetail turned away. I wish i knew what your thinking about me... Tinywing thought.

Her heart ached with the need of her mother's love she had never felt. Her heart hurted with love and sadness at the thought of her mother caring for her, helping her make desicions trough hard times, support her. But no

Tinywing had never known what a mother's love is.

She sighed and looked away, walking off.
Why did Whitetail have such a grudge with her. Her heart welled up with sadness. The empty spot feeling colder than ever...

"I'm sorry..." She quietly murmured

"I'm sorry too." A firm voice echoed from the back of the den. Tinywing turned to see her mother gazing at her, love in her skyish eyes.

"I'm sorry for what i've said and done..."
She murmured. Tinywing couldn't belive her ears, but listened on.

"When i was expecting you and your brothers, i was sent a propchechy. They said that: Once four are born to you, a black darkness will show up, revealing nothing but hateret and evil." She said, closing her eyes in sadness.

"All this time i thought you were that evil darkness..."
Then she let out a soft laugh
"What a fool i was. All this time... That darkness was me."
Then tears rolled down her snowy cheeks, making them glimmer

"I'm so sorry... I never meant to hurt you. I've always cared for you..." She said her voice soft with grief "Whenever you left to go to the shimmerpool, i was scared you'd get hurt.. I know that Tallwhisker was more of a mother to you than i ever tried to be.."

She then looked up at Tinywing with pleading eyes.
"Do you forgive me? I understand if you don't.. I know... I just want to know..."
She looked away again, seeming to imagine memories she could have shares with Tinywing

She held back a gasp. So that was why Whitetail hated her so much. Because she thought that Tinywing was evil. All she ever wanted was safety to her kits

Now it all made sense. Tinywing took a deep breath

"I forgive you. Mother."

Woooo yeah i finished the book!!!  But this aint the end dont worry. This is a sbs (six book series) so theres more to come
