Nessa kom Trikru had been training to be a warrior since she was a little girl. She'd been pushing herself to be the best she could possibly be in hopes that she would make her family proud by being invited to serve in Polis, the home of the Commander.

When she was only fourteen years old she got that chance.

Though she was young, her skills as a warrior were unmatched in the likes of her village and she held great potential. Great enough to be a warrior in the Commander's army.

Her entire life shifted as she was mostly uprooted from her birth home and taken somewhere that she'd only heard about in stories.

In Polis, her skills were improved upon and she could soon battle a man three times her size and win. She was praised among most of her fellow warriors though there was always jealousy brewing in others.

A couple of years passed and Nessa now felt at home int he Commander's trusted army and was even trusted enough that she had a familiar relationship with the Commander herself. The two had become close friends though Nessa knew to never overstep her boundaries as she was after all, still below her in rank.

Nessa had settled into her new routine and was so comfy in it that she was shocked when she heard of a new enemy that had emerged.

This strange new enemy was taking over Trikru territory and had come from the Sky. She wasn't certain if this enemy meant to harm her people but she was certain that she would do whatever it took to protect her own.

Fighting this new enemy meant death like Nessa had never seen before. They had weapons that could kill a person in a single shot and though the new enemies were no older than herself, they were lethal.

Nessa had always prided herself on her skills as a warrior but now she wasn't sure she'd make it out alive if they kept fighting these new people. She had brought up her concerns to her Commander as well as her other superiors but was shot down. They were certain that their army could defeat the new enemies.

However, when more people arrived from the Sky, the fighting just got worse and the Commander was forced to take action.

Through several meetings and peace talks, the two enemies were able to unite against a different and common enemy and Nessa was happy to fight a battle that she thought they might actually win.

And they did but not without the potential loss of a potential ally in the Sky people.

And the return of their old enemy, Azgeda.

Nessa's mother had always told her that, "Some battles had to be conceded in order to win others." But Nessa wasn't so sure.

What she did know was that she was always going to support her Commander's and people's decisions, no matter what the cost.

Or she thought.
