(This chapter will be very short)

I finished telling the clan of how Sparklemoey had died. But I left out the part about my mother's true last words. Instead, I said she loved me and my siblings equally. Lightningfur glared at me when I finished. Apparently he didn't believe that mother lived us all equally. But it would be worse if I said the truth of her words.

Mews of sorrow came from the crowd of cats. Me, Thunderpaw, and Lightning fur sat together as the cats went back to what they were doing. most of the cat congratulated the new apprentices. Cinderflight came up to us with a vole in her mouth. She put it in front of us. "I am truly sorry for your loss." She dipped her head. "Thank you. We appreciate your good heart." Thunderpaw smiled.

The sun was setting in the horizon. Lightningfur padded up to me. "I need to send our a patrol tonight." I told him. "You, Cinderflight, Shadowpelt, and the new apprentices will go. Do you understand?" She mewed. "Yes, Stormyfur." My brother mewed and padded to the warrior den to get the potrol. I went to the apprentice den to get the apprentices ready. "Cloudypaw, Stormpaw, Leafpaw? C'mon, go with your metors on a patrol." I mewed. All three apprentices shot up and ran out of the den to find their mentors. They were already waiting at the opening to the camp.

"Okay." I chuckled and padded to the Medicine den to check on my sister.
