Before we start, you may have noticed that I skipped a few OC's. This is because I will not be rating cats that don't follow the guidelines for format. I put this is the first chapter to make it easy for you. Later today I will be going through and deleting every cat that doesn't follow the format.

Name: Dandelionshade.

A bit long, but cool. 7/10

Prefix: Her father saw the unusual patterns on her face and thought she-d be suited for an unusual name.Suffix: The medicine cat Thorntail often received signs about a dandelion casting a shadow where there was no sunlight.

Appearance: A small-pawed golden she-cat with short, golden fur and strange, orange zigzags covering her face. Amber eyes that if you looked into, you would be oblivious to the deep sorrow hidden in them.

Not a ton of detail but I get the gist. 3/5

Personality: Can be shy and boring, and is often picked on for her weird patterns. If she's angry, the one who infuriated her is as good as dead.

Okay that sounds a bit mary-sue-ish, but I know what you're getting at. I think. 6/10

Friends: Starflame- sleek white she-cat with blue eyes. She often stands up for Dandelionshade when she is afraid to do so herself.

Seems like the best kid of friend. Just not a lot of detail. 7/10

Father: Splotnose- White tom with amber eyes and an orange splotch on his nose.

Brothers: Applepaw- yellow tom with green eyes. Breezeshine- birch-patterned tom with green eyes.

Sister: Frostedstar- white she-cat with grey splotches on her body and blue eyes.

Solid family, but little detail, 7/10

Backstory: From a young age, Dandelionshade was picked on for her zigzags, called names like Zigzagface by Rashpelt, Kiterose and even her own siblings, Applepaw and Frostedstar. Starflame always rushed to her defence when she was too scared. From around three moons, she was troubled by horrible dreams where she was pelting through the Dark Forest, trapped, scared, alone. A small, yellow she-cat (who later turned out to be Ashwing, her father's father's mother) would tell her that if she didn't destroy the Clans, she would be trapped In The Place Of No Stars. She had not a clue she was being decived.Dandelionshade continued to have the nightmares until midway through her apprentiship, then she reluctantly agreed. She was introduced to One-Eye, Violetslash and Hickorypelt (who was her father's father's father). She schemed with them every night till she formed a plan that would end the existance of the Clans. The plan was for the invisible spirits to murder one cat every few nights and drag them into the forest for their Clan to find. One morning, Starflame convinced her to blurt out everything, but with the knowledge she held, the Dark Forest cats couldn't let her live. They took control of Dandelionshade's mind and she killed her best friend. Evil finally seized the whole of her, and her plan was one of the most successful ever. In the final battle, Dandelionshade challenged the cat that was destined to kill her to a duel, and after a mighty battle, she had the upper paw. Amberfeather was killed, but after that, Dandelionshade saw her reflection and passed away from stress and heartbreak. Starflame welcomed her to StarClan, and her mind was finally cleared.

Alright, pretty good. A bit difficult to follow, but otherwise pretty solid. And, are those Life of Brian references I hear? 14/15

This was a solid OC! I was thinking at the beginning that it was gonna be a mary-sue type, but you fixed that as I went through and gave reasonings behind everything. I would just focus on adding more detail to descriptions, and you'll be all good.

ALSO, TO EVERYONE ELSE: Sorry for not updating this in almost a year and a half! It's summer, so I'll try to update a bit more.
