When does one get Mature?
When does one get mature?
Is it when you stop acting childishly?
Is it when you stop making fun of people?
Is it when you are sympathetic to others?
Is it when you start to empathize with others?
Is it when you are always ready to help people genuinely?
Is it when you stop acting selfishly?
Is it when you start acting serious about everything?
Is it when you start realizing your responsibilities?
Is it when you realize the goal of your life?
Is it when you know how to control your emotions?
Is it when you get the expertise in hiding your feelings?
Is it when you remain happy no matter what?
Is it when you are strong enough to let someone cry on your shoulders?
Is it when you start taking care of your parents the way they used to?
Is it when you stand on your own foot?
Is it when you are strong enough to move on?
Is it when even after you lose something or someone you still do not let your life stop?
Is it when you don't allow the past to bother you or make you weak?
Is it when you realize there maybe no tomorrow and start living in the present moment?
Is it when you start acknowledging past and learn from it and see it from a new light without feeling hurt and not letting it effect the present and the future?
Is it when you start forgiving people by heart?

Author's Note
Hello mature people! (Did you see what I did there? *winks*) As you can see it's an interrogative poem. For those who don't know what it is, my teacher told me they are poems which start with a question. About the part when I wrote it, it's in the period between 11th and 12th ( junior and senior year of high school).
So how do you define maturity? Share your thoughts here.
I hope you like the poem and have a nice day ahead!
