Third P.O.V

The Clouds stirred and darkened quickly. "Hey get a load of this cute one!" A familiar purple haired boy yelled, as he pointed at a group of people. "OI! Michiyo, you're lookin good today!" He said as he moved closer to the green haired person, who instantly shot him a look that said 'touch me and I'm gonna elbow your guts' Kendo sighed at the ignorance of the boy and rolled their eyes "ah, what a surprise. Toritsuka-Kun what can I do for you?" They said sarcastically. "Well, you can sit with me at lunch and give me a dazzling smile." Toritsuka said with a smirk on his face.  "I'm sorry but I'm busy during lunch, I'm uh hanging with uhm.." Kendo frantically looked around for someone. "Ah, I'm hanging out with Aren later sorry." They said with a fake frown on their face. Aren looked up from where he was standing, and leaned over "huh?" Kendo glared at him and he turned back around. "You wanna hang out with him? He's nerdy and stuff, I'm cool!" Toritsuka whined, he folded his arms across his chest and sighed. "Pleaaseeee! You've gotta do it! Come on Michiyo-san be nice!" He begged. Toritsuka grabbed their shoulder to pull them closer. Michiyo quickly turned around and elbowed him hard in the guts. "Oof! N-no need to play hard to get!" Toritsuka wheezed, doubled over holding his stomach. "Bugger off and go find someone with standards lower than your iq Toritsuka-Kun." Kendo spat. They walked off and sat down at their desk as the bell rung to say break time was over.

Time Skip During class

"Psst, Kendo-sama!" Kuboyasu hissed, he tapped Kendo on the back lightly, who then turned around a little. "What do you want?" They sighed, and turned back around. "Did you actually want to hang out during our lunch period? Or was that to get out of Toritsuka-Kun hitting on you." Kuboyasu whispered. "A bit of both, I need a bit of help on my chemistry homework and I was going to ask you for help." Kendo replied quietly, with an embarrassed look on their face. "Oh, sure! We can head to my place then so you don't get annoyed by Toritsuka if you want to?" Kuboyasu suggested, he sat back in his chair and yawned. "Uhm, sure okay." Kendo whispered, They turned and nodded to him. "Just meet me at the entrance and we'll walk from there." Kuboyasu said with a smile.

Time Skip Walking to Arens house

"So what exactly do you need help with?" Kuboyasu asked, looking ahead for street signs. "Mostly how to work out some formulae, it's way too confusing and I can't ask the professor." Kendo replied, looking up at the sky with a blank face. "Ahh, yeah that tripped me up when I, oh shit is it gonna rain?" Kuboyasu abruptly said, stopping for a second to look at the sky. "Yeah it looks like it, the clouds look really dark." Kendo said, still with a blank face. Kuboyasu sighed and grabbed kendos arm "we should hurry, if we get caught in the rain it won't be fun for both of us." He said while walking quickly. Kendo had no time to complain about the sudden grabbing of their arm as thunder rumbled in the distance. "Oh shit."

Time skip to arens house

Kuboyasu and kendo walked inside and took of their shoes. "Make yourself comfortable, I can make some tea if you want." Kuboyasu offered while he put his school bag on the floor. "No thank you, but I appreciate the offer." Kendo politely said, while they sat down in the living room, next to Kuboyasu. "If you don't mind me asking, what was happening between you and Toritsuka? He seems to be a little clingy." Kuboyasu asked, he crossed his legs and turned to kendo. "Ah he does this with every 'girl' who comes here apparently, or at least anyone who wears a skirt. He's bugged me at least five times now and he's really seeming punchable to be honest." Kendo sighed, they smirked at the thought of punching Toritsuka but then their blank face returned. "Punching isn't the answer usually, you know. But if it gets worse I do recommend going to a teacher about it." Kuboyasu sternly said, the narrowed his eyes at kendo. "But I would wanna see you punch him." He then said. "Really? I Thought I was the only one who wanted that!" Kendo laughed slightly at that, their cheeks flushed a little." Kuboyasu smiled and leaned back, "I mean if it's a good punch then yeah? It would be funny!" He laughed and tilted his head back. His laughter stopped and he looked serious for a second "hey I think the storms passing over us, we might not get back to school." He said. Kuboyasu sighs. "Sorry you had to be stuck with me, I'm pretty boring honestly." Kendo frowns and shakes their head "no, don't be sorry! You're cool dude, I'd rather hang out with you than some other people in our class." Kendo blurted out. They realised what they said and blushed. "Sorry was that weird?" They mumbled. Kuboyasu smiled and shook his head "no that was nice of you, no need to be embarrassed." He said with a smile. Kendo sighed in relief, and shivers "fuck it got cold quickly, it must be horrible outside." They laughed while holding their arms. "I can get some blankets for us if you want?" Kuboyasu offered. "That would be nice, thank you." Kendo smiled and nodded. Kuboyasu stood up and walked out into a hallway. Kendo stuck a hand into their bag and pulled out their school jacket and pulled it on. "Ah you have one of those too?" Kuboyasu said, he dropped a bunch of blankets on the floor and sat down again. "Yeah, It's mostly for looking cool." Kendo chuckled. Kuboyasu smiled and grabbed some blankets and wrapped them around him and kendo. "There, you'll feel warmer soon." He said, kendo blushed at being close to him but still held a blank face "I hope so haha, I don't wanna become a popsicle." They laughed a little and sighed into the blankets, "sorry if I seem weird cause I'm looking pretty dead inside right now. It kinda creeps people out sometimes." Kendo mumbled. "Oh no it's fine, I'm used to a blank stare honestly." Kuboyasu admitted, "mostly back in my old schools people in the classes just kinda zoned out." He added. Kendo looked over to him. "Except you, Kuboyasu cause you're smart and stuff I'm guessing." They smiled at him and Kuboyasu laughed. "Not exactly, I wasn't the brightest at my old schools. Also you can just call me Aren, since I call you by your first name." He said with a warm smile. Kendo blushed and nodded "already on first name basis? Wow cool." They murmured, a small smile appeared on their face. "Yeah we're good friends so why not?" Aren said with a relaxed look on his face. "Yeah only friends." Kendo murmured, burying their face in the blankets. "Huh? What did you say?" Aren looked at them with a confused face "oh nothing!" Kendo blushed and looked away. "Ah cause I thought I heard only friends." He said with a smirk. Kendo looked surprised "what? I'm uh- hey tha- ughhh!" They groaned and hid their face. "Hey we got a new facial expression!" Aren laughed and ruffled kendos hair. "Why did you hear thaattt.... Can I go outside and let the storm just take me awayyy?" Kendo sighed. They try to get out of the blankets but Aren stopped them. "Hey no I thought it was cute, and the storm can't lift a human being I think." Aren said, he wrapped the blankets back around kendo and smiled. "I sorta have to agree with your disappointment  on the only friends part though." Aren said, he blushed a little bit, while kendo looked surprised. "Funny joke, Aren. Wait you- you're serious?" They said, their face turned red as they spoke. Aren nodded and laughed. "Yeah only shun knows I liked you like that until now actually." He admitted. "I mostly just hid it from everyone, cause how could someone with such a blank face have such a strong emotion inside them?" Kendo sighed, they leant their head onto arens shoulder. "Guess we were kinda scared to say anything." Aren said. "I was honestly a little worried you wouldn't even like me as a best friend." He laughed a little. Kendo smiled a little and laughed as well. "I mean we could, y'know be more than- uhm like go- shit uhm." Kendo stumbled over their words and blushed. "Fuck it! You me date and stuff?" They blurted out and looked at Aren. "That would be really nice, yeah!" He smiled and nodded. Kendo grinned. "Oh shit that actually just happened!" They murmured. Aren sighed and looked at kendo "so since it's an official thing can I do this." He said and leaned over to kiss kendos forehead. "Huh- wha oh fu- damn.." kendo mumbled, their ears turned pink and they giggled a little. "Shit man warn me next time!" They said while punching his arm lightly. Aren smiled "sorry, I will!"
