So...

I may be partly to blame in a situation that I looked completely innocent in.

It was in chemistry and here's what happened:

-A Kid in my lab group asked another kid in a different group what to do to get the mineral out of the thingie (tall thingie used to measure volume)

-The kid in the other group, ignoring my protests that it is not a good idea, gives us a thingie to pour it in.

-Since I'm really the only one doing any actual work, I got up to ask the teacher.

-On the way, I put the thingie the first kid gave us on the desk and thought I got his attention that it was there.

-The Teacher did not see any of this.

-I asked the teacher what to do to get the mineral out.

-Kid accidentally knocks thingie on the ground and breaks it.

-At the end of class, the teacher said he thought the kid had it in his hand and accidentally dropped it.

-The kid and his group, along with me, all tried explaining what actually happened.

-Teacher doesn't say a word to me and has them clean up any remaining glass.

Now I feel bad
