Sarah's parents were contacted immediately, and Sarah tagged along of course.

"So what happens now?  How will I get my baby back?"

"The cops are on their way to arrest your foster parents—"

"Woah!  Already? Right now? I would have liked to go and see that happen."

The woman laughs. "They did some very bad things, and we're making sure they never hurt you again."

"Thank you.. So I can stay with my friend?"

"For now.  We'll discuss everything with them once they arrive."

"I just don't want to go back to that place I was at before.  It was so sad.. I know the Paulsons won't send me back."

"I'm glad you have them, Jessica." The woman smiles.

"Me too."

"As for your baby, tomorrow we will get in contact with the adoption agency.  If they forged your signature, your adoption agent is in some big trouble as well."

"Good."

"For now I just want you to get some rest.  Soon you'll have a baby to care for and you'll be losing sleep." She smiles.

Jessica's face lights up. "You really think I'll get her back?"

"They've kidnapped your child honey, of course we're going to bring her back to you! The adoptive parents may not even realize they're in the middle of all of this, but.. well they're about to find out."

"I can't wait! I miss her so much."

Soon Sarah and her family arrived.

Catherine ran to Jessica and hugged her tightly.

"Jessica honey, I wish I would have known!  I would have come get you!  You could have come to our house."

"I know, Mrs. Paulson.  I just wanted to be alone.  I was so angry and upset."

"I understand.  Oh sweet girl..
You're not going back to them.  You are staying with us, and that is that.  We want to care for you, Jessica."

"Thank you so much.  You'll make sure they don't send me back?  Like to the girls home?  I don't want to go back."

"You're not going back.  You're stuck with us." Catherine says wiping Jessica's tears.

Jessica hugs Catherine tightly.
She then looks to Sarah and smiles softly.

"Hey roomie." Sarah smiles.

Jessica laughs and hugs Sarah.

"I love you, Jess."

"I love you too, Sarah."

"We gotta wake Danny and tell him about all this."

"No let him sleep.  We can tell him in the morning." Jessica says softly.

"Alright."

"Besides, I just want to get to bed."

"I bet." Sarah then takes Jessica's hand and smiles. "Let's go home."

Jessica smiles and tears up.
She's never truly felt like she has a home. This time things will be different. Jessica just knew they would be.

The next morning.

Jessica washed up and pumped before going down to the living room.

"Good morning Jessica!  How are you?"

"I'm okay.  I'm better.  I have hope." She smiles.

"You should!  It's early but it's been a busy morning."

"What's going on?"

Catherine sighs. "Well to start, Suzanne denied everything."

Jessica listened and her jaw dropped.

"But good ol' Billy cracked immediately and confessed to everything."

"Oh. Him not having any balls finally came in handy."

"Exactly! As for your adoption agent.. it's so messed up." Catherine rubs her face.

"What? What'd she do?"

"Bill and Suzanne paid her a ton of money for her to take your signature from an earlier appointment, and place it on a copy of the adoption papers."

"But why would she do that? That's MY daughter. Why are there so many mean people in this world?" Jessica cries softly.

Catherine shakes her head. "I'm so sorry."

"So what now?"

"They're gonna call me back."

"I just want Isla.."

"Soon baby."

"It's a for sure thing I'll get her back, right?"

"Yes!  They STOLE her.  Of course you'll get her back, sweetie."

"Good.. Oh gosh Ms. Paulson, what am I gonna do?" Jessica cries.

"About what, sweetie?"

"I don't have anything for her." Jessica sobs.

"Jessica darling, don't worry about that. We will take care of it. Don't worry one bit!"

"I can't ask you to buy her clothes, or diapers."

"We want to buy that and more! Honey, we love you both, and we're a family now. We want to do this for you two. Don't worry."

"Thank you so much Mrs. Paulson."

Sarah woke up soon after, and the two girls called Danny to fill him in.

"Are you kidding me right now?"

"No!  What kind of stupid joke would that be, Danny?" Sarah asks.

"It all just sounds too unbelievable."

"It does." Jessica sighs. "I'm still nervous.. nothing ever goes right for me.  They can tell me I'm staying here, they can tell me I'm getting my baby back, but I'll always have doubt in my mind.  Because I've never had anything good happen to me.. only Isla.. and she was ripped away from me."

"This time is different, Jess." Danny says. "This is the beginning of a new chapter."

"I hope so."

Danny came over to keep Jessica company and to show his support.

"I'm here and I have gifts."

"For who?" Jessica asks.

"For Isla! I bought her this stuff when you were pregnant.. I was hoping you'd change your mind and keep her."

"Oh Danny! You're so sweet, thank you! Come give me a hug, I can't get up because I'm icing my vagina."

Danny chuckles and hugs her.

"Thank you so so much."

"You're welcome, Jess."

"Let's open them!" Sarah says with excitement as she hands the bags to Jessica.

Jessica pouted and tears filled her eyes. "Oh look at this! Oh please let me have her by Valentine's Day!"

"Isn't it cute?" Danny chuckles.

"It's adorable!"

"Oh look at this! Her thighs are going to be so stinkin' cute in this!"

"I know! Look at this one.. her aunt being Sarah."

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica laughs.

"Hey my parents aren't supposed to know about that, Daniel!" Sarah hits Danny's arm.

"My bad!" He laughs.

Jessica then reaches in and grabs the last onesie.

"Aw Danny.." Jessica smiles softly. "You think I'm cute?"

Danny blushes. "Yeah. You're cute." He smiles.

Jessica giggles and looks down to the clothes.
"Danny, this is really really sweet. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Jess. I have one more.. Well two more."

"Danny this is too much!"

"No it's not. I'll be right back!"

Jessica waits for Danny to walk out to the hall and bring in the last two gifts.

It was a white and light pink bassinet. Inside was a small stuffed elephant.

"Aww!! Daniel Huston, you're making me cry! You bought this?"

"Well my parents bought the bassinet and I bought everything else, but I'm paying them back out of my allowance money."

"Danny, you are so sweet. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Jess."

"You two are so sweet and have been so supportive thought it this whole thing.  I really couldn't have done it without you."

"You're our family Jess." Sarah smiles.
"It's been a fun ride, and I can't wait for the fun we'll have with Isla."

"We're all getting a baby!  This is great!" Danny smiles.

Jessica giggles. "Isla is so blessed to have so many people who love her.  For the first time in my life I'm so happy."

3:00 pm.

"They haven't called yet? Do you think Gary and Jennifer know and they took off with her? What do you think is going to happen? Shouldn't they have called back by now?" Jessica says fidgeting with her fingers.

"I'm sure everything is okay. I'll give them a call right now."

"It's okay, I'm sorry. I'm just so nervous. They could just take her and move to Mexico, and I'll never see her again!"

Danny places his arm around her.
"Jessie, don't think like that. She'll be in your arms soon. Don't worry about things like that. Stuff like this just takes a while."

A tear slowly runs down Jessica's face. She then wraps her arms around Danny and lays her cheek on his chest.

Just then the home phone rings.

"Is that them?" Jessica asks as Danny gently grips her tighter.

"Let me see.." Catherine answers the phone.

"It's okay." Danny whispers and softly rubs her back.

"Yes. Okay.. Yes! We can! Um, does she need to bring anything? Uh huh.. okay. Thank you so much!" Catherine hangs up and smiles.

"Ready to pick up a cutie named Isla?"

"What? We can go get her?"

"Yes! They're all down at the station now."

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica looks up to Danny with tears.

"We're getting a baby!" He says.

Jessica laughs and hugs him tightly.

"I'm so excited! I need to buy a worlds best aunt shirt!" Sarah shouts.

"Let's hop in the car and go get this girl!" Catherine says. "Douglas, you'll stay here, yes?"

"Yes ma'am! I can't wait to meet your girl, Jessica." Sarah's father smiles.

"I can't wait for you to meet her either, sir!"

The four walk out to the car, and Jessica gasps. "Oh no!"

"What's wrong?" Danny asks.

"I don't have a car seat for her!"

"Oh yeah?" Sarah asks opening the car door.

"Oh my gosh! You guys! When did you do this?"

"Doug went out and bought one this morning. He even had them check it and make sure it was installed properly."

"That is so sweet! Oh gosh and it's so pretty!"

"It's gonna be even prettier with Isla bug inside." Danny says.

Jessica smiles. "It sure will!"

Danny then helps Jessica in the car.
"Here, I brought you some fresh ice."

"Oh thank you! You're a doll." Jessica giggles.

When they arrived Danny opened Jessica's door and helped her out.

"Sarah." Catherine pulls her daughter to the side.

"Yeah?"

"Are they a thing now?"

"Not that I know of. But Danny sure acts like they are."

Catherine chuckles. "Well whatever they are, they're very sweet."

"Sweet or disgusting, I haven't decided yet."

"Sarah!" Catherine laughs and gently nudged her.

"Here, I'll hold your ice pack so it doesn't melt in the car."

"Aw thank you, Danny."

"You're welcome." He smiles. "Now; let's go get this girl and bring her home."

Jessica smiles and takes a deep breath. "Let's go."

After arriving the four were directed to the room Gary, Jennifer, and Isla were in.

Walking through the hall Jessica could hear a baby crying.

"That's Isla. Oh she sounds so unhappy!" She pouts. "Mommy's coming, Princess."

When Jessica walked in she was in tears. She took her child from Jennifer and brought her to her chest as she cried.

"Oh my sweet sweet Isla. Mommy's got you. You're okay now, pretty girl."

Isla slowly calms down and Jessica kisses her head over and over again.

"Look you guys!" Danny says. "She's smiling!"

"She is!  She's so happy." Sarah smiles and takes their picture.

"She hasn't stopped crying since we left the hospital. You got her to stop crying in seconds." Jennifer says. She was clearly exhausted. "How did you do that?"

Jessica smiles proudly. "I'm her Mommy."
