"So do y'all finally believe me when I say that the topaz tiara isn't as good as you think it is?" Kasey had asked both Giovanni and Valentina after he had played a video.

It was a video about the flaws of the topaz tiara by this fictional YouTuber called Ashley Masse and Kasey had just finished playing 70% of it.

He would have played everything but didn't because it was a bit long and he had limited time.

Either way, he had watched both Giovanni and Valentina look at one another and then at him again.

"Couple of questions," Giovanni wanted to know, not taking his eyes off of Kasey and vice versa. "If the topaz tiara isn't 'worth it' as we speak, then why do you want it and how do we know that the video is not fake?"

If anything, Kasey could have talked to Ashley to make that fake video - that was what Giovanni was trying to say.

It wasn't fake though, it was real.

"It was out six months ago, so..." Kasey's eyes had wandered all over the place as he had tried to think about when six months ago was. "March."

He wasn't lying, and he had proof.

When the video was released, it had said out 17th March 2021. Kasey barely knew the date anymore but he did know it was currently September.

"And I want the topaz tiara so that I can give it to charity."

"Why can't we give it to charity?" Valentina had frowned at him. "Plus why would they want a broken tiara? Unless it's not really broken?"

Dang, they were good.

What the hell, Kasey? Why did you just say charity? You could have at least said the dump or something? Kasey had condemned in his head.

"It's not broken, the topazes are just fake. And do you really think children care about that? The tiara is so pretty that they wouldn't even notice whether the topazes were real or not."

Kasey had then mentioned that they couldn't have gone to charity because the charity he wanted to go to was run by teenagers for kids.

Only people aged 13 - 18 could have gone to the charity to donate things. No one else.

This was because adults had mainly given to charity and not really teenagers so they wanted to change that.

Even though the video was pretty convincing, Giovanni wasn't going to just believe Kasey due to some YouTuber he didn't even know.

He needed a second opinion that the topaz tiara wasn't worth it, even if he had paid half a million pounds for it at the end of the day.

Freaking out as he didn't have a second opinion, Kasey's prayers were answered when a woman called Shaunté had walked past.

She had looked like this today:

And whilst Giovanni had gotten the last item of the auction, Shaunté in the meantime had gotten the eighteenth.

If people wanted to, then they could have waited until the end of the auction to buy what they wanted to buy - or during the break at the middle of the auction instead.

"Yo Shaunté!"

He knew her name due to the name tag, which was what everybody who had been auctioning for something today had had on.

When Shaunté had heard her name, she had gone over to Kasey. Raina Riele had sat right next to her during the auction so they already knew each other.

Raina Riele knew Shaunté with Kasey and Leilani meeting her during the break.

"Hey Kasey. What's up?"

"Isn't it true that the topaz tiara is terrible?"

Confused, most especially how she didn't know what was going on, Shaunté had looked at Kasey, shaking his head.

"No, the topaz tiara is..."

She was just about to say the word amazing, that was until Kasey had winked at her when Giovanni and Valentina weren't paying attention.

Then she gasped.

Oh, it's a joke. Okay.

That was why Kasey had winked at her so yes.

"Awful. Dreadful. Abysmal. You don't want that thing."

"Yeah, right. Like we're going to believe that. We saw that wink, Kasey. You're not sly," Giovanni muttered. "You're gonna have to try a lot better than that if you want the tiara. Or not even try at all because we're most certainly not giving it to you! Especially for free!"

Kasey had thought that he had winked at Shaunté when they weren't paying attention but he had guessed not.

Watching Giovanni and Valentina leave, Kasey didn't say anything.

He felt pretty useless right now.

Even worse, what on Earth was he going to tell both Raina Riele and Leilani who were depending on him?

"To be fair Kasey, you can't take what's rightfully theirs. They did just spend half a million euros on that thing. Whether you like it or not."

He didn't like it but he couldn't have said why he wanted the tiara when Shaunté had asked him about that.

Regardless, he had thanked her, then he had thought about something.

Kasey couldn't have taken what was rightfully Giovanni and Valentina's.

Yes but Leilani could.

Kasey was really taking his time and right now, Raina Riele and Leilani were starting to worry a little bit.

"Should I call him?"

"You've already called him three times Raina. Don't blow up his phone. He actually hates it when people do that."

Raina Riele was just about to say something to that however she didn't because Kasey had arrived at their destination.

They were lowkey right outside the door, the one right outside the waiting room, with both of them simultaneously wanting to know what was up.

"Did you get the tiara?"

Instead of replying to her, Kasey had just looked at her as if the answer was downright obvious.

"Gee, I don't know Raina. If I had gotten the tiara then don't you think I would be happy at the moment? But I'm not."

They might as well have just given up, it wasn't like they were going to get this thing.

That was until Leilani had pointed out that they had encountered Kasey and Raina but not him yet. Kasey had remembered this now.

In fact as Kasey had been gone for like twenty minutes, Leilani had already thought of a plan to get the tiara back without saying anything.

"The problem with you two is that you were trying to get the tiara too explicitly. I'm going to do so without saying a word by sneaking in and stealing it."

"Of course I was too explicit trying to get the tiara, Leilani. I literally had to bid for it."

He forgot that.

"Aight but Giovanni had already kind of suspected that I knew Raina Riele. Especially how I was trying to get the tiara without paying for it. So don't go now. Wait a little bit."

They waited five minutes.

For this to work even better, Raina Riele was going to come with Leilani because Kasey seriously needed a break right now.

This was more or less the three of them's last chance to get the real tiara. Yes the topazes were fake but that was six months ago and it had gotten fixed.

They needed the real tiara to win the mission otherwise Kasey's father might have lost his job.

Kasey had wished them good luck as they had gone.
