Author POV

Yoonji wakes up to her alarm ringing. "Ugh why does school have to be so early in the morning? I just want to sleep all day... I'm so tired if only the school knew the truth about me... Then maybe I could go in as late as I want to..."

Yoonji gets up slowly and does her morning routine. When she's ready she looks in the mirror and studies her reflection closely.

People at school don't believe she's a girl... People think she's a guy in disguise as a girl. Maybe this mission would be easier to accomplish if I had disguised myself as a boy...

She is brought out of her thoughts as her sister Joona (Kim Namjoon) appears. "Yoonji hurry up we have to go to school."

Yoonji nods rubbing her eyes sleepily. She walks into the kitchen where their eomma Hoseok is waiting. She walks past her mother and sits down on a stool trying hard not to fall asleep.

"Joona and Yoonji don't try to advance more in the mission you were given. We've been here for half a school year and I see no advancement in either mission. I am here as your eomma to help you both blend in but also to help you."

Joona responds,"Eomma it's kind of hard to find a mate... the mate is supposed to come to us so we can't really do much about that mission but the other... we don't know who has been killing all those innocent people just yet. Vampires have sworn to help humans not kill them but someone is killing them, and not just them but also hybrids and other vampires."

Yoonji just nods agreeing with everything Joona says until she hears Joona say, "It's also not easy when your partner sleeps all the time instead of helping."

"Well excuse me for sleeping but what else is there to do when literally nothing happens in school? It's so boring and I know everything already."

"Well I know everything too but I don't fall asleep like you do."

Yoonji bares her fangs and her eyes go red. Hoseok butts in before a fight can start. "Girls! Enough with the fighting you need to go to school and you need to get working on the mission."

"Yes eomma," they both respond. Yoonji is now fully awake and she scowls as she grabs her things and walks out the door.

Even though she hasn't told her eomma she worries that she will never find her mate. Joona has lied to their eomma about not finding a mate. She has already found her mate. He is a pretty boy who shares the same name as Joona "Kim." She met Jin through a friend of theirs named Jungkook, he is Jin's step-brother.

They found out that he is a vampire too. He has also found a mate and he has joined our mission. Jin knows about us all being vampires and he knows that he is Joona's mate.

They arrive to school and hear students whisper terrible things about them. No one knows that Jin and Joona are together. So they keep calling them both ugly names behind their backs. If only they knew who they really are.

Their reason for calling them ugly names is silly. Yoonji and Joona were very popular when they arrived but due to their attitudes guys started treating them badly and the girls followed suit. In reality though guys still like the girls but hate being rejected.

The girls didn't want to play with the guys feelings which is why they treat the guys that way. Yoonji and Joona walk to their classes. Yoonji sits in her desk and lays her head down for a nap. So she doesn't notice when a new beautiful blonde student enters the classroom creating excited whispers to arise...
