Chapter 3: We Ain't Got Nothing But Time (1/3)

This part is really short, btw. But that's only because I'll probably update twice today. Or at least I'll post another part tomorrow.
------------------
Just a quick refresher:
(Y/n) found Kid in his workspace, the one place that actually seemed to hold some life inside, but only because she cooked for him. Because she's designated herself as the cook, she discovered his favorite food; cabbage rolls.

-
The next day, when he sees her, she's at his door again, this time with cabbage rolls in her hand. He raises his eyebrow before he moves out of her way, "I thought I told you not to cook."
"And I'm sure I told you that I'm not going to sit around and do nothing," she drops her crutch. "I'm fine. I don't need crutches anymore. I don't think it's broken it was just twisted. It's healed enough-"
He kicks her ankle and she drops to the floor, "Yeah. You've healed."
"I hate you..." she groans out before his hand is in her face again. She grabs it, only to be suddenly pulled off the ground, "You're really strong, now that I think about it..."
"Training, he shrugs grabs the tray out of her hand. "Where's your food?"
"Well, some of those are mine," she blows some of her hair out of her face and tries to get the tray out of his hand, but he moves it and she crashes into him. They don't fall over, he only stumbles slightly back and sends her a glare, "Can you not?"
"Can you not? I don't appreciate you railing into me," he sighs out before he motions for her to follow him. He leads her back into the living room and flops onto the couch. "Tell me about yourself."
He grabs one of the rolls before he takes a bite out of one. She limps over to him and takes a seat next to him, grabbing a piece and eating some of it, she nods as the flavor hits her tongue.
"Did I tell you that I had a friend who was in love with these?" she tilts her head in his direction before he shakes his head. "Well, we didn't last too long as friends, want to know why?"
"Why?" he lays back on the couch and kicks his feet up in her lap. "What happened? She steal your boyfriend?"
"No, I absolutely hated these things," she sticks the rest of the food in her mouth. He rests his upper body up on his forearms, cocking an eyebrow at her before she giggles. "I'm kidding, they're bearable. And... actually, I was the one that stole her boyfriend."
He takes his feet off of her and sits all the way up, staring intently at her, "You're joking, right?"
"Contrary to what you may think, I'm not a perfectly good saint," she grabs another cabbage roll as he shakes his head. "What? You actually don't believe me?"
"No, I believe you. Tell me more about it," the crunch of the roll, causing her to look over at him. "I want to know all of the juicy details about you stealing this friend of yours' boyfriend."
"So you're not a complete jackass?" she covers her mouth as she laughs, she doesn't want him to see the food in her mouth. He reaches over and lightly punches her shoulder. "Ow! You're such a-"
"You're such a drama queen," he leans into the back of the couch, looking at her out of the corner of his eye. "But I am a complete jackass. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'll kill anyone who makes fun of me. Including you, (Y/n)."
"Yeah, right," she rolls her eyes before she turns to look at him, "You sure you want to know? About me stealing my friend's boyfriend?"
"Well, duh," he places his arms on the back of the couch and stares at the ceiling. "We ain't got nothing but time. Waiting for Heat and Wire to get back."
"Alright, well, it all started in junior year of high school..."
