It was in the middle of January and so far there had been four blizzards since December. You were thankful that the barn was heated so that Caramel, Storm and the chickens would all be nice and warm. By now though all of your kids were bored out of their minds. Your parents were currently out helping your neighbor who lived a mile away. Ulaz was out hunting and you were trying to find something for your kids to do.

"Mama, me bored." Kocho said as she tugged on your shirt.

"I know, I'm trying to find something for you to do." You told her as you looked in a closet.

"What that?" Kocho asked you as you moved an umbrella out of the way.

"That's an umbrella, it keeps you dry in the rain." You said.

"Mommy, what there to do?" Gev asked you as she stood next to Kocho.

"I'm not sure yet." You said as you closed the closet door.

"Me sooo bored!" Mur said dramatically when you walked into the living room.

"Have you all played with your toys?" You asked.

"Yeah." Kocho said.

"Have you played hide and seek?" You asked.

"Yes." Laz said.

"Have you colored." You then asked.

"Yep." Gev said as she laid on the couch.

"How about a movie?" You asked.

"We seen all of them." Mur told you.

"Well, maybe your father will have an idea of what you all can do when he gets back." You said as you walked into the kitchen to feed Sasha.
