In a large bedroom, on a large bed, a girl was seen sleeping turning to the right. Her  complexion was fair, her eyes were shut, her pink lips curled into a small smile as she slept peacefully.

However, the small smile on her lips didn't last longer and caresses formed on her forehead. Her face giving away the restlessness she was feeling.

It was midnight, the moon hidden behind the black clouds. The sight haunting, the harsh rustling of leaves adding more element of mystery to the sky cloaked in darkness and black clouds. Her heart racing with each step she took, her grip on the sword in her hand tightened. It was the 2nd or maybe 6th time Astha was feeling a pang of uncertainty in her chest. Her breathes turned ragged as she took steps forward. her anklets chimed creating a melody that sounded haunting adding another element of horror into the already dark night. The marshal in her hand casting an ethereal glow highlighting her features. Her beautiful hazel brown orbs shined in the fire.

Ruko kon ho tum???

She asked running behind someone, her anklets chimed with each stride She took. The more she got closer to the person, the more the person was moving far from her.

Mujhe nikalo. Bachao. Mujhe iss kaid se nikalo.

Astha heard a male voice. Her heart raced and her breath got stuck in her throat. A mixture of pain and uncertainty flooded through her heart. She took long strides to reach him following his voice

Astha stopped breathing heavily holding a bark to support herself but she lost her balance and fell on the ground. Her head resting against the tree as she gasped for breathes.

Astha looked on her left side and stood up gathering some courage with a jerk.

Mujhe Bachao.

The voice continued to call out for help, pleading again and again breaking something deep within her. She didn't knew the person but she was able to feel his pain and it broke her like The pain was hers!!! She could see a golden cage and two hands holding onto it's realing. The golden Astha ran towards the golden cage but she wasn't able to see the person,s face as a kind of black fog surrounded his frame. Astha almost reached him and was about to hold his hand but the golden cage vanished.

Astha woke up breathing heavily. Sweat dripped down her forehead. Her heart was pounding in her chest as a strong mix of pain and argony flooded through her heart Her hair clung to her sweaty skin as she breathed heavily pulling in all the air she could.

Yeh ho kya raha hai humare sath?

Astha asked herself shutting her eyes tightly for a moment and released a long breath.

Woh kon tha?

Later!!!

Dolled up in a parrot grean and gold lehenga, adorned with heavy jewels, Astha ran towards the exit of the palace.  Her strides a mix of urgency and fiance determination.

Market

Yeh sone ki mohrein humein de do warna acha nahin hoga.

The goons threatened the people gritting their teeth.

Suddenly an arrow was shoot straight into the heart of 1 of the goons and he died on the spot .

Kon hai be!!!

The goons said in unison a little loudly. The people looked around. Their expressions a mix of relief and confusion.

Few more arrows were shoot and all the goons died on the spot.

Someone got down from the horse and walked towards the people. The person removed the naqab from it's face.

Rajkumari Aastha!!!

The people exclaimed together in sheer joy.

Kaka.

Astha exclaimed stepping forward. She held the old man,s hand and kissed the back of it out of respect. She bent down to touch his feet.

The old man kept his hand on her head affectionately as he blessed her, his voice a mix of tenderness and sincerity

Sada sukhi rahiye Rajkumari.

Astha stood up and joined her hands smiling softly.

Ashirwad mujhe nahin kaka iss Jaipur ko dijiye.

Astha said with a soft smile playing on her lips and she turned. A gaurd came and bowed down to her.

Inn sab logon ko inke ghar pohanchao surakshit.

Astha commanded and turned to leave.

Humein bachane ke liye dhanyawad Rajkumar ji.

The people thanked her in unison.

Astha turned and replied, her voice laced with sincerity

Yeh humara kartavaye tha.

She finally turned and left from there.

Later!!!

Astha is seen adding some grean paste in the water. She grabbed a spoon and mixed it properly.

Rajkumari yeh aap kya ker rahi hain? Aisa ker ke humein lajit mat kariye.

The old man pleaded joining his hands.

Nahin kaka vaid ji ne kaha hai sab kuch sahi dhang se, sahi maatra mein milana hoga. Thoda sa bhi idhar udhar Nahin hona chahiye.

Astha said seriously.

Astha smiled and turned.

Per aap kyun Rajkumari? Hum ker lete na.

The man said.

Astha smiled as she responded, her voice a mix of tenderness and affection.

Kyun kaka? Kaki ne itne varsh Raj parivar ki sewa ki hai, toh badle mein itna toh ker hi sakte hain na hum.

Kaki yeh subha sham lena hai, 3 din tak. Main kal dubara aaungi.

She said softly and bent down to touch the man,s feet for blessing.

Once she was done. She left from there.

Bas humare sapne ka anth ker dijiye Kanha ji. Humein aisa kyun lagta hai jaise aap humein koi sanket de rahe hain.

Astha thought.
