Silence falls over the audience as the lights dim. They wait for Brick to appear. 

"Where is he?" a small whisper from the side of the stage echoed. "He was supposed to be here like twenty minutes ago!"

The audience begins to murmur - Is he dead? Has he been kidnapped? Brick's never been late before!

With a sigh, a small black tom poked his head out from the side of the stage. A pencil was tucked behind his ear, and he was holding a clipboard. "Ehm, sorry guys..." he called. "I guess Brick is sick today or something."

The black cat disappears, and he pushes out a small tom onto the stage.

"Hi?" meowed the tom. "My name is Alderwood... I think." He blinked. "So... I'm here.... in front of all these cats... what am I doing here again?" He glanced over at the side stage.

"You're supposed to be telling the crowd about the constellation Equuleus!" an annoyed voice replied.

"Right... Equuleus. Well, Equuleus is a constellation... in the sky... made up of some stars... Yeah. That's it." Alderwood looked content for a moment, sitting down as if he was done with the whole ordeal.

The annoyed voice added, ".. it's shaped like a horse! And it's the second smallest constellation in the sky."

"Yeah," Alderwood meowed. "I said that already... so Equuleus is a constellation... made of stars... in the sky... shaped like a goose... and the smallest in the sky."

"A horse! And the second smallest! How dumb are you?" hissed the voice. Someone threw a pen from the side of the stage, and it clattered against the ground. "Don't you remember what I was telling you? About Hippe and Chiron the centaur and the nymph named Charilco. C'mon dude, you even passed the quiz I gave you!" 

"Can I go home now?" Alderwood meowed, now thoroughly confused.

"Get out of here."
