"Ah... That vampire story? I don't watch the movie," said Peony. Tina almost stabbed her with a fork.

"Gosh, I don't know what to do with your innocent self! I'll send you the link later, better watch it. Homework for you today!" said Tina.

"It's just... I mean, why the girl is so damn desperate to be a vampire, by the way? Just because she wants to be his girl?" said Peony.

Tina chuckled a bit, almost spurt out her orange juice.

"Aish, you watch the damn movie!"

"Mom said it's not good to curse while eating!" Peony teased Tina. She knew the way will trigger the girl.

"I swear I'll tie you on that pole and beat your juicy ass!" Tina almost yelled at her. Peony giggled, satisfied for teasing her friend.

"So, how now? I mean, he won't kill me if I refused to help him, right?" asked Peony. She might look fine but to be honest, she's afraid of her situation.

Peony POV

It's not that he is a bad person. I mean if he does, still who am I to judge him. He never harm me before. Although his gaze almost made me short breath.

I still can remember the first day he arrived. He got black jet hair, sharp gaze eyes, and a slender fit body.

(Ah, you must be a drift away, Peo! What you should remember now is the entrance!)

I was sitting on the bench, struggling with my history notes when I saw a black Jeep speed up towards the parking lot. I frowned a bit, knowing that the spot is special.

There's a group in our school, the jocks team. They used to park there and nowhere else.

But this car dared to make like his own.

"Dude! What the fuck?!" Jeremy, the Captain of the Soccer team screamed at the car. They quickly gather around the car, waiting for the driver to come out, maybe asking for an 'apology'.

There he was, hop out from his ride. His height towering Jeremy at the instant, looking at him with his sharp gaze.

"Yeah?" he gave a vague response, with his deep husky voice. His hoodie covered his eyes.

"Don't be a fuck up ass! This spot is reserved!"

"Ain't see any sign, mate,"

"Lemme show you then..." I shut my eyes when Jeremy swung his knuckles.

But...

I took a peek between my fingers. The boy stood there, calm and peaceful. However, Jeremy on the other hand, crouching down to the asphalt, held his hand tight. His friends swarming at him.

"Sorry for that. I'll clear the spot," he entered his car and reversed a bit. Out from the space. As probably what they expected, he might switch to another parking spot.

But, that's not the case!

All I can see was, that huge black Jeep smashed what happens to be Jeremy's brand new Mustang ride. The car crashed forward, slammed the light pole. Half of the body is almost at the green field.

"Ah, sorry... I didn't see it either..." he smirked before speeding up to another section of the parking lot. Leaving that poor boy yelping for his crashing car.

That's my first encounter with him, and he already gave me a bad memory.

Just when my brain slowly recovered, I came across him at the hallway. He was looking at the timetable on his tab. Then, two girls came and approached him.

I know them. They're from a rich girls' squad. Beautiful, sexy, complete package. Boys are crazy for them. Girls are jealous of them.

"Hey, need some help?" one of the girls asked him. He looked at her, staring deep into her eyes. Guess he must have loved being approached like that!

I mean, who doesn't?

"I'm not retard yet, thanks..." he smirked while pushing the girl a bit. Enough to make her almost fall back. Luckily, her friend was there to help.

"Hey, rude! Like I wanna fuck you?!"

"Sorry, I'm not interested in fake boobs either,"

Wow! What?

I stood there, unfazed by his outspoken attitude.

The girl ran straight away to the toilet, crying. That's harsh, to be honest. Even though it's true. But still...

"See, I'm warning them not to approach him. But they never listen!" I heard one of her friends gushing behind me.

"Who is he by the way? Why is he being so damn rude?"

"Well, that's Yu. He used to be our senior. Until he got dropped two years ago. He's known as the rudest person, cold-blooded boy ever! People call him Trouble Maker. But you know, from what I heard, he's not actually dropping out, but went to juvenile correction," I continue eavesdropping on the conversation.

"He's a criminal?"

"I heard he killed his brother!"

What?!

I gulped a bit. We share the same history and English classes! And he just happened to sit next to me!

I got a goosebump. Quickly took my bag and left the scene.

Now that he is Peony's lab partner, she will meet him almost every day, plus other classes as well! Thinking of that makes her scared as hell!

But, come to think about it, he must have a reason why he did that. Besides, without solid proof, it must be just a grapevine! And, if it's true still, Yu is just a human being! He made mistake, learned from it, then turn into a new leaf. Or else, why did he enroll back?

Now she felt nuch better! Peony always believe that humans need a second chances in their life. She always put some optimistic thought in her mind.

"Tina..."

"Hmm?"

"Suddenly I feel sad for him. Thinking how hard his life was, to go through all those obstacles in his life, just to have a chance of education!" she sighed as she raised her chin.

"So?"

"I think..." Tina frowned, watching her silly best friend suddenly get so pumped up.

"What's with vigorous spirit all of a sudden?"

"Tina, I think I should help him! I mean, if he doesn't wanna be here, he must have just quit, right? But he is still enrolled and that means, he wants to change! So, I think the best way is to help him with his study so he can graduate, just like us!"

(Well, agree with the previous claim. She is the silly best friend ever!)

"You got a noble heart, Peo. But be careful not to be so damn helpful," she smirked at her.

"Why?"

"You know, he might be asking something that you couldn't give in the future. And as far as I know you, you will never say no!" Tina teased her a bit.

"What do you mean?"

"You know..." Tina leaned closer to Peony and whispered something at her.

A few seconds later, Peony smacked her back, making the girl whined in pain.

"Ouch, what was that for??"

"You pervert ass!" Tina laughed aloud, enjoying the moment when Peony, the virgin maiden shrunk a bit whenever she mentioned about sex.

And for that, the two best friends kept goofing around, waiting for the time passed before leaving home!
