troubles
"I don't want to talk to you," Katara sat on zukos bed as she was on the phone.
"Katara I just wanted to talk,"
"Jet I'm serious, it's not funny, it's not cute, it's annoying and I am going to hit you as hard as I can if you even try black mailing me again," she snapped.
"Hey hey Katara it's not that, are you okay?" Jet defended quickly as she was enraged by him.
"I'm stressed and you piss me off," Katara said simply.
"I just wanted to apologize-" "good bye Jet," Kataras sang hanging up and tossed her phone to the side. She laid back in the bed and turned to face the pillows.
She heard a knock on the door and looked over her shoulder seeing Zuko.
"I'm knocking on my own door," he peaked in.
"I bring a peace offering," he showed her an ice hazelnut latte with cinnamon on top.
"Thank you," Katara sat up as he joined her on the bed.
He pulled out a cookie as well for her from the coffee shop. Katara whined a little leaning onto his shoulder as a thank you.
"Did it hurt your feelings that much about Olivia?" Zuko asked softly as she swirled the cinnamon in.
"I just feel stupid, I was trying to be nice to help her with some guy she liked and it was you," Katara sipped it but her eyebrows lifted at the delicious taste.
"Makes you feel any better I literally can't stand her," Zuko told her with a small smile.
"And I kept making you be nice! I'm so stupid!" She whined falling back on the bed as Zuko took her drink for her.
"Only because I know it'd make you happy," Zuko sipped her coffee.
"Stop being nice," she said flatly with a pillow over her face.
"Don't feel stupid, your nice, you can't help it when someone asks you for help," Zuko laid next to her as he rested his hands on his chest and stared at the ceiling.
"Sometimes people don't even ask for help and you still do, that's just what you do," he shrugged as she pulled the pillow to her chest to hug.
"Is this because I wouldn't leave you alone at first?" She asked curiously.
"Kat I swear you were stalking me at first," he said wide eyes. She burst out laughing and rolled to the side to curl against him. Zuko rolled over to face her so they could look at each other.
"It was on accident I found out you work here," she smiled back.
"Hey... Jets been trying to talk to me again," Katara pursed her lips after a moment of silence as Zuko looked at her calmly.
"What for?" He asked playing with her hair a little.
"He wants to talk, I don't know what about but I don't want to talk to him," Katara said quietly.
"I still hate... I don't know if I can get over what I did and that Jet used it as blackmail but I still never told you," her eyes started to water a little as zukos hand brushed her hair off her shoulder.
"I didn't want to lose you but it was so easy for him to just take it all away," a fear tears ran down her face as Zuko held her cheek softly to wipe the tears.
"I hate that I did it and maybe Olivia would be better than me cause she's so straight forward and honest and-and- I'm just a mother hen that butts in everyone business," Katara started to cry softly but Zuko pulled her close to his chest as he closed his eyes holding her in both arms tightly.
"Don't ever say that again, no one is better than you, no ones stuck around, a girl that I love or not you stuck around with me kat," Zuko kissed her forehead softly as his hand was in her hair to hold the back of her head to him.
"Even before Jet tried, you knew some shit that would've rightfully made any normal person back out, but fuck, I'm so glad your not normal," he smiled as she gripped his shirt tightly.
"You know I love you right?" He whispered into her hair.
"Y-yea..." she closed her eyes.
"Compare yourself to Olivia again and I'm taking durk away from you for a month," he smiled gently. He felt relief flood through him feeling her shoulders shake a little when she started to hold back a laugh.
"You're not funny," she wrapped her arms around him.
"My uncle says im funny," he mumbled in defense.
"So what are we going to do about your boy problems and my girl troubles?" Zuko asked resting his chin on top of her head as she scooted closer against him.
"Ignore them?"
"Yea I'm okay with that," Zuko smiled.
"Wait I want more coffee," Katara rolled over to reach for her iced drink as she was on top of him as Zuko wheezed when her elbow went into his ribs.
"Get off your going to kill me," he pushed her elbow out of his body making her fall a little.
"Don't push me dickhead," she poked his side but he spasmed a little and got her off him quickly.
"I knew it, your ticklish," Katara gasped holding her coffee to her chest.
"No im not!" Zuko yelled holding his pillow over his stomach.
"Let me tickle you then to prove it," she grinned.
"No!"
"Why not?"
They looked at each other as Zuko panicked trying to make an excuse.
"Child hood trauma?" He squeaked.
"Dont, you already used that card this month," Katara set her drink down on the desk so it wouldn't fall.
"I knew I should've waited to use it," Zuko mumbled but screamed when she jumped on top of him.
"Yea i still got my mom card waiting pretty boy so keep it up," Katara laughed but screamed when he picked her up with ease to stand and threw her on the bed like a sack of potato's.
"Yea I was sure you were going to use it yesterday," he agreed trying to catch her legs as she tried kicking him away but he pulled her once he grabbed her ankle.
"So how ticklish are you?" He towered over her smirking.
"I'll use my dead mom card right now if you try tickling me," she looked at him wide eyes.
"I'll use mine too? The fuck, wrong guy," he laughed as she tried escaping. They both fell off the bed with a scream but a second later they burst out laughing.
